I'm finally writing a review because I believe the manager named "Gary" tall with brown hair seemed miserable at his job. Not, at all friendly. My 5 year old needed to use the restroom and when I found it it was locked I went and kindly asked an older worker. He seemed absolutely friendly "he should be manager." Told me he would find his manager to let me know. His manager came with him and he told me he could help me. Gary looked at me like he couldn't be bothered as I told him "I was wondering if my 5 year old May use there restrooms?" He looked at me and thought about it for a minute and then started walking toward the restroom. Not once did I hear a "Hi, May I help you or a Yes of course we don't usually let the public use restrooms but since he's 5 of course or a Right this way. He's horrible. I wanted so badly to be like are you a MUTE or is it your attitude that makes you a terrible manager?He Opened the bathroom and left even after I said "thank you." Kill them with kindness no matter what I guess. I Love this store because of the amount of things in it but they don't train most of there employees to fake there attitudes to give everyone a good customer service. Clearly, because management is miserable himself. I have seen only 2 employees that have ever had good customer service here like the man I asked about the bathroom and an older lady. Don't work customer service if you can't provide it. Gary should not be management he should work the back where his attitude can be kept to himself. read more

I am 7 months pregnant and was kicked out of the store by the manager Destiny who was extremely hostile from the very beginning. I have it all recorded on my phone, as well. Every week I fill up a pile of toiletries, food, and other supplies for the homeless. In the middle of the aisle I was sorting out what I needed from my basket as well as what I would put back. I put all of the 'reject' items in one place on a shelf in the aisle with the intentions of returning all the items back to their designated places. Destiny assumed I was just throwing them carelessly just anywhere and rudely said, "These DO NOT go here. Don't just leave these wherever you want." I was taken aback by her lack of professionalism and kindly told her that I meant to put everything back once I've sorted out what I needed and didn't need. Instead she rolled her eyes. Just a minute after, a cashier reminded all shoppers that the store was closing in 20 minutes and that all final purchases must be made. I went to the cashier to purchase my items first with the intentions of putting the 'reject pile' items back to their original spots after buying everything. I also wanted to make a complaint about Destiny. The cashier called for Destiny to come to the register. Destiny rolls her eyes and aggressively says, "Oh want to make a COMPLAINT?" She then proceeded to yell at me about the items left in the aisle as I tried to explain that I meant to return them after buying everything. I'd never just leave them lying about. I told Destiny that I didn't like her attitude and she proceeded to shout even louder in front of all the customers in line about how I should never return and that she is banning me from ever returning. I asked her on what grounds, and she said "You're just not welcome in my store so get the hell out!" She then PULLED my shopping cart away from me with my purse still inside it and ushered me to leave. She then proceeded to continue yelling at me outside of the store. At that point, I recorded her yelling belligerently on my phone. I told her to leave me alone and stop yelling or else I'd call the police. She then threatened to call the police. She even told me she "doesn't give a fuck" whether or not I call corporate. A short, stout, Hispanic worker with a bun on her head was watching eagerly with amusement. She said to Destiny, "you're crazy -- she's pregnant!" And Destiny shouted, "I don't give a fuck that bitch pregnant!" I am filled with shock, adrenaline, and anger. I will absolutely be calling corporate. All of this occurred May 1, 2019 at approximately 8:40pm. To the upper management -- check the cameras yourself and listen to how she spoke to me. I usually love Dollar Tree because everything in the store is actually a dollar unlike other dollar stores and I feel like they're a good store to find Halloween stuff. I don't like this location though because the customer service here is awful. The staff is rude and obnoxious. Especially when they announce that they're closing in 15 minutes. There's a nice way to announce closing time and then there's the way that this Dollar Tree does it. Do I want to ever come back to this location? Nope, I'd rather not. Another Dollar Tree has opened its door and this one is in my neighbourhood. I went there on opening day 04/14/16 and there were quite a few people in the store. This brand new store has all the typical items that other Dollar Trees carry. They also have a very good selection of greeting cards. The difference with this store is that their isles are more wider and it is much easier to walk around in this store even if it gets busy. The cashier was very friendly and even apologized for the long wait in line even though it wasn't that long a wait. There is plenty of space to park in the parking lot, so I will definitely be shopping here more often since it is so close to home. read more

They open at 9 and boy were there stockers just in the way with their boxes everywhere. Came in for a car freshener but ended up with extra snacks lol. Their coconut water isn't bad with pulp inside. My guilty pleasure of cheezits and some hot fries chips were more than tempting. read more

MO helped me out get some balloons for a co worker late at night, i still had my work scrubs on, almost 9pm and she assisted me with no attitude, very pleasant and she was a great cashier, i commend her. Need more positive workers like that Everywhere! read more

The manager Destiny is the most unprofessional manager I've ever encountered. My friend & I were shopping for supplies for the homeless which is something she does weekly. She was sorting her basket items on a shelf in the aisle with two piles going. She had every intention to put the items back where they belonged after checking out. Which, by the way, she is not obligated to do. I am a supervisor at a different retail location and it is definitely never okay to harass a customer about items that are misplaced. Manager Destiny came over & started aggressively speaking to my friend about how she cannot leave things wherever she wants. My friend then shared her intention of putting everything back. The manager did NOT care. She rolled her eyes & just had such a horrible attitude. Once we were in line Destiny started shouting at my friend for not putting the items back. I could never imagine speaking to a customer that way. She yelled at her in front of other customers in line & told her she is banned from the store & told her to "get the hell out." She did not have any reason to do that. She grabbed the shopping cart from my friend very aggressively & told her to leave. She was still yelling at her at the front of the store and being very disrespectful. My friend started recording on her phone & the Destiny was caught on video being very hostile and aggressive. She said she did not give a fuck if corporate was called on her. Once again, as a supervisor myself at a different retail store, I cannot even imagine speaking to a customer this way. Dollar tree should be embarrassed having a manager with such horrid customer service. I will be calling corporate. read more

The manager at the store on Sunday, November 27th was incredibly rude and hostile towards customers. Her name is Jolene. She barked at customers, was very rude, had a power trip, and threatened to stop ringing up a customer's order. She never offered an apology. She was flat-out the rudest customer service person I've experienced, let alone the fact that she had the word "Manager " on her name tag. I suggest that you stay away from the store. read more

I'm not impressed at all. I was standing in an isle looking at brooms when a woman worker decided at that same moment she needed to sweep. She literally said, "I need to sweep" as if her sweeping that isle was more important than a customer shopping. So I left the isle without buying the broom due to her ignorance and selfishness. I went up to the register to check out and the same ignorant woman swept all the way up to my feet because she was being a brat!! She than yelled,"Im bored!!" I'm allergic to dust and not feeling well on top of it. I will never be back or even go in that part of town...it's the same type of ignorant workers anywhere on that side of town. This is the best dollar tree because the girls that work there especially T make it a friendly store . I am always treated with respect and friendliness and they have allowed me to use their bathroom . The store on 3555 s Fort Apache 89147 has the same supplies but very rude staff like Rosie and the girl that was stocking today I don't know why I went to your other store (store #3767)the lady said they don't have públic restrooms . I told her it was an emergency and she didn't care so I still got in the long line to get my stuff because I was already there. And Rosie could've clearly gotten the rude lady that was stocking to help but they both just don't seem to wanna be there . Rosie wouldn't even make room on the counter for all the customers in line I know it's dollar tree and it's a generous price but we are still paying customers !!!! Who doesn't love Dollar Tree?! I was so excited to see a new location being built close by home because they are so convenient when it comes to needing little trinkets! I talked about on another review how I like to get birthday party things like balloons, plates, cups etc from Dollar Tree because why go anywhere else and pay triple for some items that are just going to be thrown away? I can't wrap my head around the idea of paying $5 for some paper plates or cups or go to party city and pay $20 for 3 balloons that will just be deflated and or popped lol. The location was very clean and the layout was great! My only grip was that they had ONE cashier working with about 9 people in line. The cashier explained that the manager was on lunch so it was unfortunately just him. Seems a bit odd I think some better judgment could've been used as far as when this manager took the lunch. I mean if you see this line you come out and help then go back to lunch. Least that's what I would've done but I'll digress... All in all I'm glad this location is here and I definitely plan on utilizing it a lot more often! read more

I went to the Dollar Tree on Fort Apache and Sunset and had a bad experience with the cashier Shana! She is so rude and ghetto, there was a long line and she is ringing up some man taking her time trying to get his number asking him to hook her up with some money and take her out. I didn't know you could prostitute your self there!! I was so disgusted, the manager Kari came up to help with the line and she is so sweet and professional that just based on how Kari took care of the situation i will consider coming back to that location to shop! I like this Dollar Tree. It is new and it is clean and organized. I walked up and down every isle to see what they had and make mental inventory. They have great stuff that would cost a lot more at other stores, even Walmart. They have some name brand stuff too. And EVERYTHING is a dollar or less. They have useful things like plastic food storage containers, pet supplies, big tubs, cups and dishes. They have a freezer section and dry food section. I like their party selction, great for decorations. I LOVE that they have balloons, the nice ones too. $1 each. I paid $30 for 7 balloons at Vons once, would have been $7 for just as good balloons here. They fill them with helium right in the store. read more

I lost my car keys while shopping at this Dollar Tree. The manager and the staff spent over an hour looking for my car keys. They showed up eventually in a cart that had been used to shop in the store. The manager called over the loud speaker to say they found my car keys. Bring back my favorite cashier!!!! The new one is rude as fuck! 630pm, 1 line open, I have a basket of 18 small things, so condense space so the people behind me could load up I placed the hand basket on the belt, (I have done this pretty much every time I come here) the basket "return" area is on the other side of the cashier so it made sense. She looks at me and deadass says "take your things out of the basket and put it on the belt ma'am" as if add ma'am to the end of your rude ass attitude makes it ok. So I dump my basket out on the belt and leave it on the floor, she can pick that shit up later when her attitude is adjusted. Guy in front of me must have been feeling the attitude too because he left quick and in a hurry telling her to keep the receipt after he paid. She left the receipt attached to the printer and continued to scan my items. After I paid my receipt printed and she said "you can grab your receipt" like what tf are you getting paid for???? I'm not understanding your lack of customer care.... I mean I get it, it's the dollar tree but that doesn't mean you give a $1 worth of customer care. When I grabbed my receipt I handed her the one for the other customer and stated "this was the previous persons he didn't want his receipt" she quickly came back with "just put it somewhere" as she snatched it outta my hand and ALMOST put it in my shopping bag! This Dollar Tree location has unprofessional, slow, and rude workers. First off, which store only has one register open during the damn holidays! Secondly, don't announce to everyone waiting in the line that they can start lining up at another register if you you wanted a specific customer to start Line up at the other register first! Idiots. While I'm standing in line, a worker decides to announce that people can start lining a cash register three. I then proceeded to line up up at cash register three only to be told "Lets have these customers line up first." I then replied "don't tell people to start lining up if you're only going to have them line up first." Then she replies back to "excuse me sir, I wasn't talking to you" with an attitude. If she was a smart employee, instead of announcing to everyone in the line that people can start lining up at cash register three, she should've went to the specific customer that SHE SAYS she was talking and told them first! Then to top it off, our cash register Alex was also rude. While he's scanning our items, he said something like "5?" And I didn't quite hear him the first, then he goes on with an irritated voice and asked me again "5 of these" I responded with a "yes." But the stupid thing is, you can clearly see that I have items!! Are you stupid! What, are you that stupidly blind that you can't see that I have five items!! That is why you two are stuck working at a Dollar Tree!!! During the holidays!! Working paycheck to paycheck!! Not making anything of yourselves!! DO NOT SHOP HERE! Find another Dollar tree. The manager, Jolene (if you want to call her that because I'm shocked that she has this title), at this location is absolutely horrible. I love Dollar Tree and frequent the store often; however, after the experience I had with her yesterday, I will not return.
