Perfect to help remind you that the scorching summer will soon give way to cooler weather. We are regulars at this store for all our greeting card and gift wrap needs as well as occasional seasonal decor. On this visit we had to grab the Super Mario power star tree topper! It comes with a Super Mario coin remote to activate the light and sound features. The staff here are always super friendly and helpful. Be sure to sign up for their rewards program as my points saved us about $20 on our purchase. Merchandise is not necessarily inexpensive here, but the quality is very good and they have so many unique items you can't find elsewhere. Wowzer been a long long long time since I've been to a hallmark store!! Had to get a special newlywed Christmas present ornament and can't think of any better spot last minute and so I went and soooo glad I did!!! This location was tough to access but since it's the holidays figured this was an anomaly? Huge strip mall next to smiths and gas station which proved to be even more difficult to find parking!! Wow what an amazing space and staff were sooo helpful and soo friendly!!! Super busy but yet still so attentive and so accommodating!!! Highly recommend this store!!! read more

I was not expecting so many amazing selections when I entered the store in search of a specific themed birthday card. Wow! Hallmark had really knocked it out of the park this year. Really easy to spend a lot of money on a lot of things! The store was well organized and clean and jam packed filled with so much to look at! I had to go and could not look at everything tonight. This store stays open late when compared to another location I attempted to visit nearby, so that's a bonus. Love this Hallmark - overdue review, since I have been a customer here for many years! So much so that I am a Platinum member, lol! I always find unique gifts for my family & friends here. I recently found two 2023 Christmas ornaments to uphold my family's tradition for our Xmas tree. Besides the unique gifts, this location is always spotless & organized. Most of the employees are professional & polite, except for one older female employee. I don't believe she has strong roots in customer service skills, based on her reply to customers as "um hum" after people thank her. This isn't our regular visited store, but we were in the area, so maximizing our stops was important. (But I learned an important lesson.) There were three or four clerks there. Most of the staff is elderly. One was nice (not elderly), and told me about the other cards. There is a sneeze guard (plexi-glass) at the cashiers station. I gave the clerk three coupons, but she only scanned two of them (I only come to these specialty stores when I have my reward coupons). I didn't check it at the time of the transaction, but checked the receipt afterward, hours later. I didn't know where the JUST BECAUSE cards were; it would help if there was a large sign noting it. In the middle of the clerk ringing me up, she took me there, frazzled, I just chose something really quick. It really irked me, so I am writing about it. Did you ever fathom spending half a grand on a store made for greeting cards?!? Well I can show you how: they have these things called Hallmark Keepsakes and this year was the release for both a Star Wars and Stark Trek lights/sound tree topper with figurine ornament set. I felt as if they were one of a kind and a unique release so it became a must-have. You have to get the power cord that isn't included for them to work and would be nice if it was included. Otherwise there are a lot of other little holiday purchases like boxed card sets, individual cards, wrapping paper, ribbon etc. I was pleased with the friendly and caring service here and got some free merch as part of the promo going on at the time to congratulate the whopping purchase. Stopped in to check out the clearance sale, which was better than expected. This Hallmark has a large card selection and also had lots of clearance stuff, such as some Xmas merch at 75% off. Some ornaments were also on clearance. I found some fancy party napkins for more than 75% off! Other items marked down included toys, plush, mugs and wall decor. Employees were there to greet me when I walked in, and offered help. They pointed out where the sale items were as well. Hallmark is a good place to find gifts for many occasions, and you can browse the rows of cards as well. This store has a table of Vegas Golden Knights merchandise, and some of it looked to be unique to Hallmark. The Crown Rewards program, free to join, offers discounts on greeting cards and other items. I had an offer for $3 off 3 cards priced $1.99 or higher, which is a pretty good deal. There aren't tons of $2 cards, but some of them are grouped together. Some would say that buying cards is a dying art form, but I'll support the brick and mortar stores until I'm forced to rely on e-cards. read more

Horrible customer service. I was in the store after shopping April 7 saw the sign that they would be closing April 9 for a remodel. No one who helped me or my husband mentioned the closing of the store for remodel not even when they provided me a coupon which expire prior to them reopening. Came back April 8 315pm and saw a new sign that was NOT up yesterday saying closing April 8 at 300pm. I get things happen but give your customer warning. Especially your loyal customers who come frequently. The one star is not for being closed it was for the workers inside ignoring us and laughing. They wouldn't even open the door to answer our question. I will take my business else where and advice others to do so. Laughing at your customers is uncalled for and a simple open the door to explain would have been appreciate. Customer service is everything. read more

From the very beginning the really old lady at the counter was being extremely passive aggressive, sarcastic and condescending. She was basically saying that no ones buys this much on gift-cards . She wanted to know what they were for and what I did for living. She was 100% profiling me because I am a young very attractive woman and I was paying cash . Yes! At least two stores on my side of town have closed over the past few years. Although I buy my cards at Hallmark, I also love coming in and checking out all the knick knacks. This is a small store, but is jammed packed. I took my time looking at the cards, picking out the ones that tug at my heart sleeve. When I read one and start to tear up, I know that's the one. Sending cards is very personal, and I love finding the magic words that I wish I could say, but can never quite get them to come out as poetically as a Hallmark card. I have a huge collection of cat "tchotchkes" and found one to add to my collection. When I went to check out it was a topic of delightful conversation during the process. They had a charity event that supported critical care comics this past week. It was so fun to see all the superheroes at the store and they had a bunch of giveaways and things for kids to do. When you bought to itty-bitty's for yourself Hallmark bought and donated one itty-bitty to critical care comics. Critical care comics is A non-for profit organization that dresses up as superheroes then delivers comic books and other items to children in the hospital. It was so wonderful of Hallmark to help them raise awareness and items for children that are not able to use the comics. Critical care comics sees all age children so by allowing this fundraiser they were able to get stuff for the smaller children! The manager there Tia is absolutely amazing she has a heart of gold and works both for Hallmark and critical care comics. read more

Am I the only one that could spend an hour in Hallmark? I take a while to pick out cards- to me, cards are very personal from the person giving the card to the person receiving the card. So I like to take a look at a few cards and make my decision. The workers are very friendly and helpful, but also leave you alone. I also like to purchase my Yankee Candles from here as well. They have a great selection and they special deals on the candles. They have lots of gift bags and tissue paper which is sometimes a life saver if you are on your way to a party. Note: sign up for their rewards program. You receive coupons in the mail that definitely add up! This is my go-to Hallmark as it's near my house and they always have what I need. read more

This is the third visit I've made to this location within six months and each time when I asked if I'm a rewards member and I say no, they ask if I would like to sign up. I politely decline and then they give me such attitude. They are so offended that you don't wanna join their stupid membership rewards program. This is my go to store for cards. I prefer Hallmark to supermarkets, Target, etc., because I feel the selection is so much better. Plus with some cards costing almost $5 I appreciate their customer reward program. I am always getting emails with coupons for free cards, credit on my account and $10 off coupons. Employees are always helpful. My only complaint is that they don't have typical retail hours. During the week they are open 9-8 making a morning stop perfect but an evening stop inconvenient. I love the selection of Hallmark cards that this Hallmark location has in stock. The staff is always helpful and friendly. They can help you find the right card for any occasion. They also always have a great selection and quantity of Hallmark keepsake ornaments. I am giving them a four star rating instead of five for two reasons. First they close at 8 PM during the week instead of 9, which I find inconvenient. Although a small store, this is the best Hallmark I've ever been to because of the staff. Everyone I've encountered there is absolutely amazing and helpful. There's one woman in particular with long blonde hair --I wish I could remember her name right now--- and she is just the most pleasant and friendly person!! I came in out of the rain to do some quick shopping. There were four clerks in the store and two customers. One clerk was ringing up the customer in front of me. The other three clerks were engrossed in discussions about the food they would be preparing for some upcoming event. I had to wait for the clerk to finish with the other customer in front of me and none of the other three seemed interested in opening the other register and getting me on my way. It is a pet peeve for me, I must admit, when employees are engrossed in personal discussions. It seemed to me that one of the other three could have been helpful to the customer, rather than continue with personal business. read more

5 stars! We all know these aren't given out so easy..well at least not from me lol. I really never go out of my way to get a card from Hallmark Shop because Walgreens has usually got the job done. Just last night I decided to spend a little more time trying to find the perfect birthday card for my manager! I needed a card that was pretty big so that we could have the entire staff sign it. I arrived around 7:30PM (30 minutes to closing) and when I walked in I was immediately greeted by more than one employee! I then assisted with finding the right type of card! I didn't get the gentleman's name who ended up helping but he was very courteous and showed excellent customer service! I'm such a sucker for that and love to give credit where it's due! I spent about maybe 20 minutes in the store going through plenty cards! Once I found the perfect card again there was no wait and a sense of urgency to help me check out! Little "golden moments" like these go a long way in my book and hell I might even start to spend the extra money and drive a little further to come here now to get all of my cards! Extremely disappointed in the rudeness, lack of professionalism, and lack of customer service. We both knew the product, Flappy the Elephant by Gund, was carried by Hallmark stores. Thursday my mom called looking for the elephant for my sister's baby shower gift. She lives in Pahrump and is unable to always make it to town so calling ahead to make sure someone has the product is ideal. The older gal she spoke with was extremely nasty to her. Told her there was no such item and no Hallmark store in Las Vegas would carry that item. She spent a good 5 minutes arguing with my mom and wouldn't even go check for the item. My mom called 3 other Hallmarks in town who all were extremely nice, knew the product she was talking about, AND they carried it. Friday, I gave the store a call same lady answered. She was rude and short with me, nor did she put me on hold to look for the item. Just rudely stated they don't carry it. Well, this store is a block from my house so I decided to go take a visit! Guess what, the first thing I saw when I walked in the store was Flappy the Elephant! I asked for her name (she would not give it to me, but she is older with long white hair.) I hope, Tia?, store manager sees this and uses this as an education tool not only to improve their customer service, but to educate employees on products carried in the store.
