So Dollar This and Dollar That ain't my thing HOWEVER.... I needed something and I was headed home and Walmart was the opposite way so popped into this Dollar General. What the..... it's like a baby Walmart. They have EVERYTHING! Oh yeah I needed a grater cause I broke mine and needed one to make dinner. So I walk in and I'm like this place is HUGE. I immediately ask an employee, Pam, if they have graters. "Yes, we do", she said with a great big smile. Even though I told her just to point me in the right direction, she came from around the counter to walk me to where they were. I told her it was my first time in a Dollar General and she welcomed me warmly, told me the various departments they had, where the clearance items were and told me about their app for my phone. Super helpful and very happy employee. She showed me their selection of graters, took a few quick questions from other shoppers, picked up items that were in the wrong place and all the while doing it almost effortlessly and ALWAYS with a smile. I actually left Dollar General feeling happier than what I walked in because of how uplifting Pam was. Great experience and will be back again. Thank you!
