If you're down to scrounge, this place might be for you (I'd just urge you to wash your hands after). That said, I specifically went here today because I needed a stapler. Mine went missing when I moved (probably in some box I've yet to unpack in my storage unit), and there's zero need to purchase a brand new stapler when I know I can get an old reliable Swingline from a thrift place like this (plus, I remembered on my first amble through here that they had a whole basket of staplers). Sure enough, I was able to acquire a stapler. But you can bet your ass that I brought along some staples to test out said staplers... the first one I picked up had a busted spring, but the second was fully functional. Both had been priced at $3. I mention this simply as a word of warning to consider testing before you buy.) I also picked up a bobbin thread case and a quart sized bag of crayons (both priced at $3) while I was there. This place is good for finding the kind of craft stuff your granny would keep around at a low price. And honestly, you're doing the environment a BIG favor to snag this kind of thing off a thrift store shelf rather than "convenience buy" it off Amazon or whatever. You can save money and feel good about yourself. The rest of the store has stuff like glassware, clothing, kids stuff, and holiday decor. It's not all amazing stuff. I reckon a lot of folks donate stuff they don't care to sort through when an elderly parent finally kicks it. The employee behind the checkout counter was a little slow to bother acknowledging me, but once we were interacting, they were friendly enough and wished me a good day; seemed like they were happy I actually bought something instead of just browsing.

However; I also love coming randomly throughout the year to get updated clothing items. I typically like to check out under Armour and Nike, the Columbia store also has a separate outlet location as well. Recently, I feel like prices haven't been nearly as good as they used to, but in this economy, who can blame them. I would love to see a little bit more variation in the food court, it's mostly Asian cuisines and Cinnabon. All delicious but would love to see some more options. There's a ton of parking, but if you come on a busy weekend, you may not notice and still have to park far away. Bummed to see some recent retailers, leaving, they've been replaced with stores that my opinion were is great. Overall, a decent shopping trip, it's also in a great location. There's plenty of other stores/eating nearby. I recommend checking out the Twin Cities premium outlets if you haven't been there before.

It's nearly identical to the Aurora Outlet mall back home in Illinois so navigating this building felt like I was back home. There weren't any outdoor vendors, maybe they'll be there in the summer. There was ample amount of parking and a great variety of stores where you could find half of them at the Mall of America itself. This mall is very clean without any riff raff from my visit here. There are pretty neat items at this store. I like the cell phone accessories section. I got a MagnaVision item that turns your cell phone into a larger screen. It's essentially a fancy magnifying glass, but it works well on the plane, or when you want to stream something and actually see it. It was only $7. I also liked the new vent clips for your phone that are elevated. So, you can still have heat or air coming out of the vent, without your cell phone blocking it. Nice! I didn't get one, but love the concept. I saw a shimmery pair of pink Converse shoes in my size. I didn't need another pair, but it was tempting to buy. I tried them on, though. They were comfy. The women's clothing section was fun. I liked a purple Vikings hoodie simply because it was purple. The handbag and wallet area is also cool. There were also some cute change purses. The checkout section looked scary by the time I started to line up. I'd guess that there were fifteen people ahead of me. However, it does move quickly. The person helping me out with my purchase was efficient and nice. Parking was not a problem here on a Sunday afternoon. This store is located at the Shops at Lyndale. (403)

We left our cart full of items as no way waiting in that line. Monday went back and was let in by security who said they had no cashier and manager busy. Said they hoped a cashier would be on by the time I left. I found the items I had left behind. Ladies cleaning aisles but housewares so bad Manager was kind and rang me up on exit and apologized for no staff to ring. You cannot beat prices and appears retailers having a hard time finding qualified people. It is an epidemic. The company used to specialize in great coats and clothing at a deal. It is not the same and I hope they go back to quality coats and clothes.

Parking is a bit tricky to navigate as clear markings aren't present so be familiar with which attractions you want to see & park near those. Once inside, it's massive but the kiosks are quite helpful. We grabbed a movie with comfortable recliner seating & also checked out the Fly Over America which may sound corny, but it's cool. A bit pricy, but worth the splurge if you're struggling for a signature experience. Food is in abundance & offerings have a slight edge over standard mall menus as options are plenty. Park is the pinnacle & doesn't disappoint. The sheer scale of an amusement park inside a mall is cool. If you're not into rides, grab a phone charger at the kiosk & a table overlooking the mania & listen to the screams. Rides are open late & likely a winter solace from the snow. If you're open to it, it's worth the hype. Get your steps in today

It was such an incredible experience it really makes you feel like you're flying, and the visuals are so realistic. Definitely a must-do if you visit! I also loved all the food options. There are so many places to choose from, and everything I had was delicious. It's nice being able to take a break from walking around and enjoy a good meal without even leaving the mall.Another favorite was the axe throwing it was SO fun and something different from the usual mall activities. It added a really exciting, adventurous vibe to the day and made the whole experience even more memorable. The atmosphere throughout the mall is lively, clean, and full of energy. There's something for everyone shopping, entertainment, food, and unique attractions all in one place. It's perfect for a fun day out with friends or family.I would 100% recommend visiting, and I can't wait to go back and try even more things next time!
