I mean it's Dollar Tree not much can be said in the way of what the expectation should even be. I mean does anyone have an expectation walking into dollar tree!? 1 star is to much they would rude to an elder lady in line when the store got the product in the incorrect place with a different price and started insulting her when she said she didnt want it anymore. manager failed to show compassion or any type of conduct put in place. read more

Decent Dollar Tree. Spacious. But when we were here, some of the aisle or the shelves were left empty. They have a refrigerated section which is located ALL the way back on the Extreme Left of this establishment. All in all, its an OK Dollar Tree. DT in Northglenn on Melody temp closed. Again. Staffing shortages I'm sure. Shelves are rarely fully stocked. I'd wager half their merchandise is sitting in the back lacking staff to process them. As far as Dollar stores go, this is a "high end" one. I always find what I'm looking for, pls some! The things I always buy here are hair accessories, socks just for around the house, cards, gift wrap, decorations,cooking utensils, school supplies and candy. With dollar stores in general, always check the expiration dates! Inventory varies almost daily. Sometimes I can get Purina Dog Food that's $1.39 elsewhere. One time I got a good size jar of mayonnaise, brand name! read more

This is my favorite Dollar store. They are always well stocked and the food I have purchased has always been fresh. No matter what I am looking for, it seems they have it some where. I also found out that you don't have to worry about buying every piece of a certain item. You can go on line and order more or find something you might have overlooked in shopping the store. The staff is always helpful and the store is neat and clean. Everything looks fully stocked no matter when I go in. Actually, a very nice Dollar store. The staff is friendly and they are always stocked up with goodies. Food is in date and great. The clientele is pretty sketchy though, Being adjacent to a bus stop. If you come at night, there are some strange folks. But during the day it's wonderful. Personally, I like it since I used to live in downtown Denver. Well stocked, with a refrigerated/frozen foods section, and this location cracks me up, because it's completely carpeted in Dollar Tree green! You might notice a random character or two hanging around, as it's practically in the parking lot of a bus transfer center, and the shopping center/area it's in is borderlined seedy. I always come in to this Dollar Tree because it's near my house never have a problem. They are reorganizing the whole store so nothing is where it normally is. I asked one of their sales associates where something was and she was very RUDE and everybody in that store is totally grouchy. If you don't like your job, find another one!! This is a Nice Dollar Tree. They even have displays for gifts and how to piece it together and the cost on holidays. Nice Wide aisles. Always stocked. And the little grocery section is pretty cool as well. The employees are friendly and personable which goes along way. read more

The store manger accused me of stealing and then continued to call me a bad parent for stealing with my children present and then demanded I hand over my purse then she got mad when I requested her to call the police because I intend to notify a lawyer she then followed me out of the store after cops left and started calling me names making my kids cry even more and told my 13 year old little sister to fuck off she did all this right In the middle of the store in front of everyone it was humiliating and not professional at all. She never sall me take these items and I never even got to the register to pay for the items I had in my hands she didn't even check the camera she just took the customer word that I was filling my purse up and accused me very disappointed as I shop here all the time and now I'm banned for something I didn't even do needless to say my family and friends have all decided to never shop here again. Two of the managers harassed me on both occasion I went to this location. I am disabled and it is particularly difficult for me to shop at all. It was five mins before closing, I was the only person at checkout and one of the managers became physical with me when I was trying to read the ingredients of one of the two items I was buying. I had to read the ingredients at checkout because she came down the isle to find me and tell me I had to leave because they were closing (they were closing in five mins and I was the only person in the store other than the two employees. She wouldn't let me buy my two items, told me I smelled like alcohol, even though I do not drink at all, not even socially. She, however, smelled of cigarettes and alcohol. The entire store smells like cigarettes. As I was leaving without the two items I came for (which I called in advance, btw, to make sure they sold these items and to find out when they closed that day), the manager came from behind the counter, told me I smelled like alcohol, I told her I do not drink (I didn't mention her very offensive cig/alcohol combo) and then she pushed me -- knowing I am disabled because I told her and it is physically obvious any way -- and I ended up having to call the police. The police told me my information, including my full name and address would be made available to her. I did not press charges, due to that; I live nearby, she saw what car I was driving, could see (and was told) I would not be able to survive a physical altercation with her even though she is very skinny, and she is not cut out for any work where she needs to be a good person (that would be all jobs). I did report this to Dollar Tree and still have not heard back; it has been over one year. That especially is disheartening. This is the Melody Drive, Northglenn, CO location. Before this extremely negative experience, I'd been a loyal Dollar Tree customer for almost two decades, in different states. read more
