This location is neater and better organized than other family dollar stores in the area. Sales are clearly marked and shelves are neat. The store carries everything that you can imagine and they have mostly branded alongside a few store brand items. It is a mini Walmart with better prices. Usually I just run in and grab a random item and leave. On one occasion I actually set aside time to walk around the store and discovered so many branded items that I was going to Walmart or Target to get that I almost screamed. And the items were at least $1 or more cheaper. You can also clip coupons via a store app on your phone to get sales which are crazy. You enter your phone number at register to apply coupons. If you hold your phone up for them to scan they will act like you are holding up sweaty gym socks. My most recent trip I was able to get Persil detergent for $3.95 and Arm and Hammer 24 load for .95 cents on a store sale!!!!!! Even the girl at the register was surprised. Parking lot is attached to a small shopping center with random stores and cashiers can be downright depressing though there are 2 who actually engage with you. There seems to never be more than one on the register ever even when there is a line so be prepared. I have never left out of irritation because I couldn't bear to lose my bargains. So take a trip here. And thank me later !!

Unlike Marshall's, I am rarely ever able to find anything in TJ Maxx. It is the rare occasion that I will stop by and find an item or two, but it is never where I find an abundance of any one thing. I have perused a number of sections from beauty to household goods and the beauty section is where I typically find good stuff. For this reason, I stopped by today because I have found that if Marshall's does not have the hair styling products that I like, it is a great chance that I will find it at TJ Maxx. Well, I went to this store yesterday looking specifically for hair products and was able to find quite a bit and the brands that I like. I walked into the store, located what I was looking for and went directly to the checkout line. I really like how structured this visit went, which was a far cry from my usual pop-ins to see if I find anything. Those visits always leave me disappointed.

The cookies were thick and crunchy with a good layer of hard icing and cute shapes and decorations. A friend recently had cookies custom-made in Baltimore for a baby shower, and these Christmas House cookies at Marshall's were just as good! The Dubai-style 33%-cocoa milk chocolate bar was stuffed with a think layer of 11% finely-chopped pistachios and crumbled kadayif filo! Very nice flavor and texture, as good as I've had anywhere! A fancier brand might have some tahini in there, but I didnt miss it. And the box shows the usual green-coloring for the filling, while this filling is chocolate-color, which is ok with me. But, like other locations, there was no staff member around to ask questions to. So any questions I had about the stock I couldn't get answered. The curb side appeal is severely lacking at this location, as there are shopping carts stacked in the front without a designated area. However, Parking is good with a huge parking lot right out front, and it is free. Prior to getting in line to start my return, I visited the aisles with the dining and hosting merchandise, and honestly, the selection was lacking. Everything was not very organized, though semi neatly stored. Also, one of the workers, who was putting away items, had a passive aggressive attitude towards me when I was attempting to walk around her with my cart. This happened twice, despite me politely saying excuse me/thank you. Perhaps, she had this attitude towards others, but I noticed it with me. Not sure if discrimination played a role, because I observed her earlier being incredibly nice towards another customer of a different race, to the point that the other customer seemed uncomfortable and awkward by the excessive attention. Additionally, the store aisles are especially narrow at this location, but the store also wasn't particularly busy during the time of day that I visited. The return process was convenient and the customer service was polite and efficient at the registers. This location overall seems convenient to make a quick stop, but I was not impressed by the selection.
