A shout out to Marshall's food section! We were doing some holiday shopping (Dec 2025) and happened past the snacks display. We got some cookies to put out for guests and just for fun we grabbed some Dubai-style chocolate. We were expecting average stuff. We got Wow! The cookies were thick and crunchy with a good layer of hard icing and cute shapes and decorations. A friend recently had cookies custom-made in Baltimore for a baby shower, and these Christmas House cookies at Marshall's were just as good! The Dubai-style 33%-cocoa milk chocolate bar was stuffed with a think layer of 11% finely-chopped pistachios and crumbled kadayif filo! Very nice flavor and texture, as good as I've had anywhere! A fancier brand might have some tahini in there, but I didnt miss it. And the box shows the usual green-coloring for the filling, while this filling is chocolate-color, which is ok with me. I came into this Marshalls after visiting Ross and almost fell back from the change in class lol. I'll definitely make this my first stop. They had so many items I had been searching for! I wanted to grab all the past presents I wasn't able to find at that time I intended to give them. Funny how all the memories and hopes returned when I saw the items. I'll know to go there first next time. They also had about 6 cashiers checking out also so the wait on live didn't seem so long. They also have some of the cutest reusable bags as well that I wanted to grab for friends. Different doggies with different drinks seemed so appropriate for my girlies lol read more

So, don't judge me, but I've been visiting every Marshall, TJMaxx, and HomeGoods I come across. If I'm out somewhere and there's a Marshalls close by, I'm going to check it out. This Marshalls is in a shopping center that also has a Home Goods! Win. They are of the same family, so I guess it's a win for them as well. There's plenty of parking and it's easily accessible for those with a disability or in a wheelchair. What was funny to me was an employee who was stocking a self was fussing out lout about how it was incorrectly stocked. Whoever stocked it prior to her had placed the items on the shelf incorrectly. There are plenty of good and you'll most likely find what you're looking for. However, I came in looking for a specific item and couldn't find it. I did end up purchasing some mixed nuts (I love a good bag of mixed nuts) and would you know, the same fussing employee checked me out. She was friendly as ever. It's a good Marshalls. read more

Decent Marshall's location. They have a wide selection of clothes, shoes, pets supplies, and home goods. They could probably use more cashiers as the line tends the be long. They have a lot of items on sale, including a number of clearance items, so the value is pretty good. They have fitting rooms as well. Prices and selection are as good any marshals, but staff are not great. Treat you like a criminal if you want to try on clothing, and checkout is slow. Only two registers open on a busy day while other staff are just standing around. You get what you pay for I suppose. read more

Marshall's is a great store. No matter what I'm looking for, I can usually find it there. I really like their home goods items, and those are what I am commonly there to get. The pricing and selections are awesome. These stores are generally clean, but there is chaos with all the stuff they sell. I rarely interact with Marshall's employees unless I'm in checkout, but they're always friendly and helpful. This weekend I went to this particular location seeking a wicker basket I could use as a planter. Lo and behold, I found a better item than I could have imagined and bought it right away. The only drawback here is the location which is in a very congested plaza with an iffy parking situation. It'll be my pleasure to return to this or any other Marshall's location. read more

Hello. I would like to report a complaint and I am already contacting the district manager on top of that. In December 13th around 1030 and spent $206.08 one of the items I bought was a $48 Tommy Hilfiger coat. When I was leaving the store with my mom, the security alarm went off and I started walking back in a worry that I had a security tag on one of my items. The employees insisted that the security alarm had been doing that all night and not to worry about it--I said OK and left. This morning I was wrapping all my gifts and the Tommy Hilfiger coat included--like most people would I took off the stickers that showed the price including the Marshall's sticker. I quickly realized the security tag pictured. So I went around 5:40 this evening-Christmas eve because I needed this wrapped for tomorrow, Christmas Day. Unfortunately, I couldn't find the receipt since the purchase was made on 12/13. I walked into the Marshall's where I purchased it--the alarm went off because of the tag. * saw an older woman in the shoe department who looked like she may work there and I said hello, she just stared at me. I then said hi do you work here? And she said yes. I told her you probably heard the alarm but I just purchased this coat a couple weeks ago and went to explain what happened with the tag and that I just noticed it today. She then asks if I have the receipt, I said that's the problem is that I don't unfortunately but I can show you the transaction on my bank app. She then proceeds to work with the shoes with no response which is rude. I deserve a response and to not be ignored. I then asked do you want to see the app? She says "that's not going to do anything, go in the line up front and they might be able to take it off." I then waited in the line for about 10 minutes, feeling like she thought I was a liar and felt embarrassed. I finally get to my turn and a woman who looks like she may be the manager(standing in the line--NOT at the cashier side) asks me what I need and I proceed to explain that I don't have a receipt but I purchased the item and I am just stressed because the woman by the shoes called me a liar and told me to wait in the line. She then interrupts me and says "she didn't SAY that, you can't accuse people of something they didn't SAY, she may have looked at you like you was a liar, but didn't say that. I heard the whole conversation." I then proceeded to say "well she was looking at me that way and being dismissive and if you heard the whole thing, why didn't you chime in to help instead of embarrassing me to come in the line?" She then says "well she can't help over there." I then said "ok well I didn't know that" at one point she grabs my elbow and I tell her to not touch me. I am not happy and that is harassment, on top of being embarrassed I get touched without consent. I then go to the cashier who tells me they absolutely cannot remove the security tag unless I have a receipt. I then ask about security footage if I provide the day and time and she states "we don't have security footage" which is extremely concerning. I walked out the store crying and embarrassed like never before. I don't recommend anyone to shop here and I look forward to speaking with the store manager and district manager. Now one of my Christmas gifts are ruined because my loved one can't even wear it. I look forward to an apology from these individuals and need their names so I can file additional complaints on ALL social media platforms and a lawsuit if needed. Merry Christmas to me read more

I give this Marshalls a 5-star out of all the ones that I visit because I always find what I'm looking for and more! This one isn't as easy accessible to my home as the other ones, but I'm always guaranteed a good time! Their racks are always perfectly aligned with the sizes. I don't have to do too much digging to find my size whether I'm looking on the regular racks or clearance! They have a good amount of housewares as well as other things such as accessories in addition to the clothes. The employees are always friendly, helpful, and I can always get in and out of there in a good amount of time regardless if I get one item or 10! Their dressing room is always clean, clutter-free, and they have very good lighting!... Very important! I look forward to returning back to this Marshalls in the very near future to snatch goodies and holiday gifts for my family as well as for myself! read more

The store has beautiful products and is very organized. You can have all the beauty but if no one cleans is like doing nothing at all. The store has to have a wide range of different cultures of employees hired and they don't have it. Please, include in your staffing, Hispanics, Asians, and other nationalities. I saw the type of population that goes to your store includes Indu, Asians, Hispanics, and others. The store is completely dusty and hasn't been cleaned at all. I came into the store, with no air, no sweep or mop. I came out sick sneezing and itchy. I saw people sneezing coming out of the store when I arrived and now I know why. When I was inside I saw people sneezing too! We are passing still through COVID-19, Flu & other viruses. We need Cleanness! PLEASE, clean the store. You need to contact a company that will really clean; not only throw only the trash. I notice that other stores like Target hire Hispanics to clean and this makes a difference, they really clean! I was very disappointed of the treatment that I received when I returned to store to return a dress that the clerk failed to remove the security tag. I didn't have my receipt due to a purse change ,but mentioned to clerk that I charged the sale to my TJX card and ask if she could pull the sale up that way but she refused to accommodate my request. I'm sorry to say this situation has caused a very bad consideration of choices of stores to shop after spending over a hundred dollars and no consideration to correct the problem of the security tag that prevents me from wearing the dress and causing me to burn gas traveling back to store. I love Marshall's the one in Catonsville always has a lot of good buys . Sometimes hard to return things . I bought a canister and didn't realize it had a whole in it . So be careful buying in house wear inspect carefully!!!! So I didn't have the receipt , even though I shop there faithfully they would not take it back , this kind of angered me , they see me all the time . I love love love this Marshalls. I don't come here often due to location but ALWAYS find great things when I do. The store is always clean. The clothes are always neat and properly sized. The clearance section does need to a little more tidy than it is but great finds can be found. Today I went looking for new luggage and of course came home with everything other than luggage. Their Easter dresses and suits were very pretty. The staff is always eager to help. The weekends please be ready for the long lines and the crowds. Overall great shopping experience. read more

I love Marshall's. This location has great quality goods and I always leave w a little something:) my only complaint is the customer service here is dismal. Do not expect to be talked to like an actual human being or even given eye contact. The workers are quite simply rude and unenthused. I recently visited the Catonsville, MD Marshall's location, and was greeted by a beautiful soul who radiated genuine happiness and warmth - what a delight.  ROBIN greeted not only me but every person who walked through the doors with the same smile and light.   I spoke with both managers and passed along my sincere kudos, compliments, and commendations, and also passed along my praise and appreciation to Robin.  I'm quite certain she improves the day of everyone who sets foot in that store. I love Marshalls; it is one of my favorite stores. My past few visits to this location was all 5s. The ladies at lay away department are superb. However tonight, I had a dissapointing service at the regular cash register. I went up to my cashier, to a tall young man, and said hello. He didn't greet me back. When I asked if my account could be looked up if I didn't have a TJ Maxx card with me, he just shook his head. I was starting to think he was a mute. After I swiped my credit card, he tersely asked me to swipe again, so that's when i knew he could indeed talk. Afterwards, he just threw my stuff in the bag with a receipt and didn't say thanks nor bye. I was dismissed. I've been to Marshalls at least 4 times in the past month and gad nothing but great service, but this one really ruined it for me. He made other hard working, friendly staff look terrible with his apathetic attitude. It will be a while before I ever go back here. I'd rather go to the one in Columbia now. read more
