The two sales associates and manager refused to sell me an item that was clearly marked a price and rang up a different price. One told me flat out I was wrong, that the sign says One dollar twenty five cents and up. Told me to take a picture. I took pictures in the 3 locations they were located and all 3 said $1. Still refused to sell me for what the price clearly was marked for.

This DT store in Plantation is one of the cleanest and better organized DT stores I have ever been. It was a pleasure to shop and most of the stuff I wanted, I was able to find. The lady at the register was very friendly as I made a comment about an item, we had a good conversation about it. It's almost 30 min from my place, so not likely I will be coming to this DT often, but if you are in the area, check it out....it's a good one.

If you value peace of mind and organization- AVOID this location . The whole store is in shambles . Employee didn't know where anything was . Boxes in the walk way . Things all over the place. Carts and carts and carts of returns and items . Total chaos.

Store is larger than a regular Dollar Tree but packed with products, boxes everywhere. The shelves and floors are extremely dirty. So much so it put me off from buying anything. About 2-3 employees and they were busy ringing customers up. Don't expect social distancing in here, nobody respects it. It's so hard to shop in here because of the mess. With the combination of the bad lighting and products all over the place, it feels like you're shopping in a hoarder's haunted house.

My favorite Dollar Tree store in the surrounding area. It's well stocked & organized. It's a good size, well lite and clean. The cashiers are usually polite. The only downside is its locate in the Fountain Shoppes which is a popular plaza so parking can take a few minutes. Especially during the holidays. More often then not I find what I'm looking for here and they always have plenty of holiday decor items to choose from.

This is my place! If you don't like the Dollar Store I can't help you. This location is clean. That's a big plus. It's a little smaller than most locations, but has everything you (don't) need here; from greeting cards, balloons, food, flatware, toys- literally everything. Why pay more? I get sucked into this store and can spend all day combing through the aisles finding things I want- like Paul Reiser's autobiography, I mean, who didn't love, "Mad about You"? Seriously though, this place is great. The checkout lines can move slowly but in a way I expect that there. I probably shouldn't, but I can see that the employees don't really care about the job, so they aren't as efficient. I would knock it down more for that, but I can get so much here for so little that I just deal with it. If they worked on their employees this place would be five-stars for sure.

Dollar Store balloons - tethered to a box of Whoppers candy!

The store is in the Fountains shopping center and it's well worth the trip! Dollar Tree stores have come a long way - they offer everything from housewares to gift items (frames, wrapping paper, etc.) to grocery items (brand name food, cleaning products, hygiene items, etc.) to office supplies. I depend on Dollar Tree stores for helium balloons - at $1 per helium-filled Mylar balloon you just can't beat it. The balloons usually last for 7 - 10 days, making the value even better. Instead of buying balloon weights at the store I buy brand name candy and tether bunches of balloons to the candy packages. We fill the house with balloons on every birthday - hubby's birthday is this weekend so a few days ago I bought 16 balloons (they pack the filled balloons in large bags so it's easy to transport them in the car without crashing on the way home!). For the first time ever, the balloons lost air in 2 days time so I called the store and told them about it. They offered to replace or refill the balloons! I didn't want them to take a loss on replacing the balloons so I opted to have the balloons refilled. I brought the balloons back to the store, they added helium to each balloon, and they packed them in bags for the trip home. They didn't charge me a penny. The guy who initially filled the balloons remembered me and greeted me when I entered the store. The store was packed and the guy who refilled each balloon gave me great service even though I could tell he was anxious to help his coworkers at the busy register lines. I was so impressed by their professionalism and customer service! Not only can we buy quality goods at a low price, Dollar Tree stands behind it's products and provides excellent service!

But they seem they are organizing things better as time goes along. They have some of EVERYTHING from food stuffs to furniture, toys, clothes, shoes, towels, sheets, bug zappers, light bulbs, paper ware, fancy water bottles, car seat covers, blankets, aspirin, deodorant, dishes, electronics, watches, big TVs, paper shredders, wine coolers, generators, safes- those big cast iron ones that survive infernos-----I still left a ton of stuff off this list haha......be aware that scratch and ding and retaped boxes of repackaged stuff rule here. I go mainly because I'm intrigued every time I go. Its unsuspectingly located in a huge warehouse, a short business row. From the front, it is quite nondescript, next to a dental office. Once inside, it can be overwhelming. You can wander around inside for hours discovering items tucked away in nooks and crannies, inspecting goods for missing parts and defects, looking for that "steal deal". Most of the items look like Costco returns and overstock items. Lots of Kirkland around. I got this really cool 2 person Tommy Bahama beach tent that compacts down into a tiny shoulder bag for $15--it scanned $60 on amazon price check, but I had to search through a bunch of them to piece part a complete one to take for myself. Also, some stuff, being a loyal Costco member myself, seemed really over priced for the not-great condition it may have been in. Check expiration dates! Customer service is usually pretty good, too. They get it that its controlled chaos, and they do their best to help you sort through it. In the winter, be prepared to be bulldozed in th aisles like you don't exist by some lovely visitors who, I've witnessed, argue for hours with the cashiers about the clearly posted "no money back, all sales final" policies----waiting in line, you see it on everyone else's faces "it was a dollar, really? Unlike maybe, YOU, I've got to get back to work!" Workers have been awesome for me, though, with exchanges if you talk to them with decent respect and reasonableness. Gee. Fun.

I have shopped this kind of discount store before and for me it is hit and miss depending on what they have in that day. Here they have the bins in the middle of the store. What you pay depends on the day of the week, Friday's $12, Saturday's $10, Sundays $8. By the time you get to Wednesday everything in the bins is $4. They restock on Thursday evenings. I stopped in on a Friday afternoon so the bins had the best selection but they were also the most expensive. In addition to the bins they have other items around the perimeter of the room at set prices, up to 90 percent off retail. I saw clothing, a lot of perfume, household items, holiday decorations, and small appliances. The friendly staff was at the ready to open any boxes I wanted to see and plug in the appliances to verify they worked. I saw a Le Creuset stock pot for only $29. They had a lot of household goods like dishes, sheets, blankets, pillows, and decorations. If you are setting up a new home and aren't picky this would be an inexpensive way to do so. If you are set on a specific brand you may find yourself out of luck. While I left empty handed it is always fun to stop and check out this kind of store because you never know what you will find.
