While he was standing right next to me, an employee stopped him and asked, "Are you going to buy that?" I understand staff may need to monitor merchandise, but addressing a young child this way -- when his parent is clearly present -- was inappropriate. If there was a concern, it should have been directed to me, not to a six-year-old. She was an adult woman, shouldn't you know that? Would it be okay if your grandchildren were treated this way? Customer service should reflect professionalism and basic respect, especially when interacting with children. This interaction was unnecessary and disappointing.

I think also because it's right beside an apartment complex, so it makes it easier for residents to just walk by and shop. I went in looking for a big gift bag with tissue paper for fathers Day, but unfortunately, there were none left. They had plenty of smaller bags but no big ones. It looked like they had also run out of tissue paper, so I just opted for a birthday bag instead. There was only one cashier so the line to check out was started to curve into an aisle but once they realized that they had a lot of people, they finally opened up another lane and got everyone moving. The cashier worked quickly and was extremely patient and friendly. She helped me to find more of the gift paper and a Decanter set that tickled my fancy when I saw the lady in front of me purchase one. Tucked away in a strip mall, you'll find plenty of useful and not so useful stuffs. Kitchen goods, gift bags, drinking glasses, bottled water, cleaning supplies, buckets, snacks and more. While I wouldn't do my grocery or cosmetics shopping here, Dollar Tree certainly suffices when you're on a budget! I mean, hey, I snagged some shower cleaning solution, a bunch of microfiber kitchen towels, hand sanitizer, and some hand soap for $11 and change. Sweet!

When I come to the dollar store I know what I want to pay ....a dollar! This store wasn't the cleanest and had items all over the store. It was very disheveled. I bought a candy bar and it wasn't fresh. Had an odd taste to it. I also got some glass ware for my plants. Not my first choice in Dollar Stores but I will be back just to see what they have.
