Manager is incredibly rude and staff is nearly never around. There's constantly boxes and carts in the aisles blocking the way.

It's in a quiet plaza with a ton of parking. I pulled into a spot and walked in. This store has an older design. It seems to have been around for a while. However, many businesses in this plaza haven't survived, so the surroundings feel a bit eerie. I was here for a cheap notebook to practice calligraphy. I found one that looked like one that I had in high school. It was perfect for my needs. The snacks and food sections were pretty decent. The frozen food section had breakfast sandwiches, ice cream, and more. I ended up getting a one-litre bottle of Diet Pepsi and ramen. This store had a nice variety of ramen. The woman at the checkout seemed preoccupied with getting off work. She did manage to bag my items and ring up the bill. I paid with a credit card. Done! It's a huge store with a lot of variety. There was a Christmas merchandise sale. I ended up getting heavily discounted strawberry Jello candy canes, which are yummy. I saw everything from Cold Stone Creamery, to Twinkies candy canes. Cool and different! I enjoyed shopping at this Dollar Tree. I'd return when I'm back in the area. (9)

They are clearly afraid of the manager, who sits in an office and yells at them over the store speaker system. I feel so bad for those workers. * The one on Fairview Ave, next to Rosedale Mall, which is new, clean, huge, and well-stocked. That is the place to go.

It is a little walk away from the train station, with the stop options of Hamline or Snelling (approx 10 minute walk). The bus station will get you a little closer, but it is still a decent walk. (Approx 3-5 minutes) Today, we stopped in for plasticware. There are a lot of Halloween themed items and decorations. I was surprised to see that they had a ton of stock for Halloween with it just being a few days away. I saw quite a few people shopping for decorations, purchasing large spiders, webs, RIP post, and other celebratory items. Great place to shop if you're having a party! I stumbled upon gold lid candy containers that were so cute, perfect for organizing. I was excited to see all of the storage containers that they had available, including food storage. They also have a great "Personals" isle, where I purchased exfoliating gloves and fingernail files, but there are so many other things that I wanted to get. The winter gear out right now! Mittens, hats and scarves for both adults and toddlers. The Christmas items are also beginning to fill the shelves. Holiday Stockings with letters on them, so cute! This is such a great place to putz around. I guarantee you will find something interesting or that you've been looking for at an exceptional price. This location is great to me because it's near Target, Cub and you can literally knock out all of your errands in close proximity.

I usually go with a photo of what I want (that I've taken on-line)--the service is speedier that way. When I moved last fall, I found lots of great quality organizers for cupboards, pantries, office, bathrooms--saved a lot of $$. I never buy food there, but cards, gift wrap, seasonal/party supplies, many cute plates and bowls for my daughter to use when she Cricuts for homemade gifts. I've read negative comments by shoppers--I've never seen an employee behave badly. Perhaps the shoppers need to be mindful of their attitude toward employees. Too many folks have become disrespectful/demanding these days, IMHO. Shortage of workers is real--who would want to work for lousy wages & keep demanding customers happy?

I love Dollar Tree. It has good merchandise. Everything is $1…read more I was staying in Eden Prairie. It was New Year's Day. This Dollar Tree was the closest one to my hotel and it was open. Sweet! It took me three minutes to drive over there. It's in a small plaza. I had no problems backing into a spot and going into the store. There were two women staff members at the store. They were both cheerful as they were stocking the store with goodies. I hit the Valentine's Day section. Yes, it was the first day of 2020 and I was looking at valentine cards, candies, and all things pink and red. I browsed the hair accessories area. It was a blast from the past seeing banana clips and huge bows that I wore in high school. I was here to get a lemon drink. I got the powdered lemonade travel packets. It had real lemon and no sugar. Perfect! The back is where you can find the frozen food section, including ice cream and popsicles. I loved looking at all the breakfast items. Here's hoping that our Dollar Tree stores in Canada follow suit. I'd be there all the time. I loved the snack aisle. I found snack sizes of Boom Chicka Pop popcorn. It is one of my favourite popcorn brands. I bought a couple and had one of the plane heading back home. It was the perfect size to make my flight enjoyable. I also had Zappo chips. I haven't seen those since I was in New Orleans. So yummy! The older woman out of the two staff members cashed me out. She was incredibly enthusiastic for New Year's Day. No hangover. Nothing. I paid using cash. She placed my goodies in a bag. I wished her a great day. She reciprocated. I love this store. (16)

First he gives me attitude when I approached the register, even though there was no one there, next he's throwing my items in the bag, and when I say throwing i mean he LITERALLY pitched my items so hard they bounced of the counter and on to the floor toward the window, picked them up without saying anything and then slammed them in the bag, I now have dented cans, gee thanks for that. There was no manager on duty for me to say something, I hope he's new and inexperienced because that is unacceptable.

I stopped in on a Wednesday because I needed some balloons for a party (now that Party City is gone there's not a lot of option). The store was clearly open and there were plenty of staff working who were friendly and had no problem filling all 24 of my balloons for me. Check out was easy and I was in and out with no trouble. Seems like the last couple years this location has struggled with staffing- I don't think they have that issue anymore. I would personally ignore the older reviews and still check this place out if you need the Dollar Tree- not worth driving to a 'better' one when this one has a big selection, friendly staff and ample parking.
