I really didn't log their locations, and maybe I feel to entitled to expect them to put them back. But it kind of threw me off, and added time shopping to hunt down each spot they came from. They girl manning the shoe area later was in another location (half way across the store) folding clothing, with no one in the shoe area. I visited the store to return a defective item and went to the Customer Center during business…read morehours. An employee loudly informed me from a distance that it was closed. I turned around and saw him by the self checkout area. I asked him what time they typically close and he said 10pm, but due to staff shortage they closed sooner this evening. I asked for a manager to process the return. Nick said he is a manager, but was too busy to help me and basically said have a good night in a dismissive manner. He then walked in to the customer center and as he was opening the door there I asked if there was another manager who can help me with the return. Nick completely ignored my question and closed the door. Not sure how he became a manager, but he definitely needs to be trained on customer service as his behavior is not acceptable.

The manager(Michelle) approached us and asked if we were friends in a very rude tone. She then very rudely said that our friend needed to continue working. We were very displeased by this comment because our friend never stopped working. But out of respect me and my friend continued shopping and went our own way. Michelle followed us from a distance. My friend then approached us telling her manager Michelle had asked for us to leave through the employee walkie talkie. Mind you I was purchasing items that I had in my hands already the first time she approached us. Again out of respect we headed to check out and didn't continue our Christmas shopping. While checking out Michelle appeared behind the register. We felt untrusted and quite frankly disrespected and disappointed in who Kohls chooses as managers. Visited this location today 4/4/26 around 8:30 PM, I stood in the self-checkout line at least 12 to…read more16 minutes. The line was extremely long. There was only one register with a cashier checking out. There was a female worker standing far back by the clothes, nowhere near the self-check-out registers. Watching everybody check out. I was paying attention to her because I was wondering why she didn't call someone to open an extra register. The line was backed up all the way to cosmetics. So all the while, I waited in line before me were only Caucasian people! So once I finally made it to a register, she instantly comes and stands feet behind me! Then while I'm waiting for the receipt to come out, she literally comes stand RIGHT NEXT to me and begins to act like she was organizing something! That's when I addressed her and I asked her name? She said her name was Nadia. I said let me tell you why I'm asking your name: I began to inform her while I stood in line between 12 to 16 minutes waiting for the checkout. She did not move while the Caucasians were checking out!! I told her you watched them check out as you stood all the way by the clothes. Then stressed to her but soon as I got to a register you/she walked and stood feet behind me. Telling her, I also noticed while I was waiting for my receipt, she stood RIGHT NEXT to me and was acting like she was organizing. I let her know that I was putting this on Google how she flat out directly racially profiled me and I won't tolerate being Discriminated! She instantly says Ma'am I'm sorry. I walked away, then she screamed loudly Ma'am I'm so sorry. By then everyone at the self-check-out was staring at her. I've had enough of being treated differently than others due to my race. I make over $33.00 an hour and here she is working at Target and has the nerves and audacity to profile me. I'm posting this on as many platforms as I can, including Target corporate office.
