She is a gifted salesperson who is helpful without being pushy, kind but not afraid to be honest in advising, and cheerful without being phony. She really knows her stuff and it was so nice to be thoroughly guided in the selection with so many choices and styles. Alicia truly went the extra mile, even having my mom try on one more pair "just to make sure," even after my mom had pretty much made her decision.

Unfortunately they don't price match with everyone, only a certain list of store. I ended up buying the shoes online at Journey's because it was cheaper. With that being said, this store was much better than I expected. Very clean and organized. Nice variety of shoes for everyone in the family. Prices weren't bad but in my situation, I found a better deal elsewhere. Customer service was great. The guy was nice and very helpful. I'd come back again.

Since I was already in the area, I decided to stop in after receiving a "BOGO" promotional text earlier in the day. I had recently purchased a pair of shoes on Tuesday for my daughter, who works 12-hour NICU shifts in Dallas, and thought this would be a good opportunity to take advantage of the promotion for an additional pair. I had the shoes and receipt in my vehicle and brought both in with me. Upon entering, I received minimal acknowledgment from the two cashiers at the counter--one of whom identified herself as a manager. I explained that I wanted to utilize the BOGO promotion with my previous purchase. After reviewing my receipt, the manager stated that because my purchase was made on Tuesday and the sale "started on Thursday," I could not apply the promotion. I asked for clarification, as the explanation didn't logically connect to the policy. When I suggested simply returning the shoes and repurchasing them in the same transaction to legitimately qualify for the BOGO--a standard practice in retail--I was told this would be "like stealing." That statement was inaccurate, unprofessional, and frankly, insulting. I asked again about processing a return and repurchase, and was instead told that I could return the shoes, but would need to drive 15-20 minutes to the St. Charles location to buy them again (if available) and use the promotion there. At that point, it became clear that the associate was unwilling to provide basic customer service or a reasonable solution. Her demeanor throughout the interaction felt dismissive, as if she was more interested in posturing for the other employee than assisting a customer. There were no other customers in the store, so this was not a situation of limited time or overwhelming foot traffic. For reference, the name on my return receipt is Carleigh (last name omitted), and the processed return amount was $70.15. This experience resulted in the loss of not only this sale, but the additional purchases I intended to make today--and likely any future purchases I would have made with Shoe Carnival. I have no issue taking my business to competitors such as DSW in Brentwood, where customer service consistently meets basic expectations. I strongly encourage management and corporate to review the service standards at this location. Customers deserve respect, accurate information, and professionalism--none of which I received today. Shoe Carnival, if you cannot appreciate your customers, you will eventually have to appreciate their absence. Do better.

Line was forming when it did finally open. At least 15 customers in the store by 11:05. Good selection, but mot as many choices with arch support as my wife hoped they would have. I also found a pair, but they didn't have my size in the first couple of pairs I looked at. Clean and well lit, overall a good experience. Might want to consider opening earlier on Sunday.

The person loves the shoes, but due to a foot issue, they were a little tight on her, so she actually came to the store and moved up a size (and had to pivot to different colors) on her subsequent visit. I'm so glad the employee offered the gift receipt. Had he not, we'd be stuck with some shoes that couldn't be worn and we'd be reluctant to try the Merrell Outlet again. Now we're fans!

My daughter was asked to do something on two pieces of equipment (for lack of a better word). There had already been questions asked about what the shoes would be used for, etc. A few different brands and sizes were brought out and tried on and walked around in. Pros and cons were discussed and a shoe was chosen. A lot happened while we were there, but it didn't take a long time and things kept moving. Exchanging shoes on a Friday night w my kids is not something I was looking forward to. Instead-it was quick and easy and here is what a customer wants to see when he turns the corner in to your store- a smiling employee standing on station (just inside store) waiting to receive customers-making eye contact,being personable and well spoken- that is exactly what quortney did(sorry I prob goofed name but prob 28 year old African American w piercings) I was crabby going in but she made it impossible to stay that way, made the exchange very quick and easy and no hassle. She engaged my kids and talked about music and about t shirts in store which we ended up buying two of. The store was clean and nobody was texting on their phone or doing anything other than engaging customers or cleaning the store while we were in there.
