Everyone who works there is friendly and helpful. I've always referred to them as "big lots, on steroids." The place is huge! They primarily sell manufacturers extras and overstock, and maybe the previous models of things. But, everything is good. Groceries, snacks, clothes, toys, home, and garden, housewares, kitchenware, tools, carpeting even furniture. If you see what you like, buy a little bit extra, because there's a good chance it won't be there the next time you come in. The stock always rotates. That's what makes it fun. It's like a giant treasure hunt. Also, if you sign up for a free "Ollie's army" membership, they will send you information on discounts that you can get off of their already great prices. I am a fan. From canned goods, toiletries, garden supplies, outdoor, books, toys, etc, etc, etc, etc, you can rack up. Cheap shopping, that's all it is and I like it- depends what I'm getting. A quick trip in to get a new bed for our arrival this week. The selection was good. There are other places for such standard equipment, but we were short on time so this was a very quick trip in and out. For a change, we did not have to deal with a long line because it was Monday afternoon. The system for cashing out has always been one that does not meet the expectation. When they combined all three stores, they should have had more than one check out.

They sell bulk nuts, seeds, spices, coffee, tea, rice grains beans flour oats pasta oils and more. Maa as ny items are organic and prices seem to be on par or lower than other natural food stores in the area! She even has bulk shampoo, laundry detergent soap and household/kitchen items. The tare system allows you to bring your own bags and jars to fill and she has clean jars for free to use as well and you weigh the container before filling so you're not paying extra for the container weight. In fact, she looked horrified that I was even asking for help. I guess it never occurred to her to ask another associate for assistance and she couldn't wait to get rid of me. I get that it's a challenging time to find good help, but c'mon, where's the manager to make sure customers are getting what they need? And are they doing any training of store associates or just showing them how to run the register and throwing them out there. Tractor Supply has a some products and pricing that Lowes and Home Depot don't have but their service is worse than the big box stores.
