I have found what Absolute Auctions offers is a Treasure Hunt on Land, not to mention there is a constant flow of New Possibilities at Great Prices! Now that staff runs the show and did not have the courtesy to reply to a simple email from a decades long customer who has spent tens of thousands of dollars, at least, on their auctions. Instead, they had "lower level" staff produce a generic reply- we value your concerns.... yada, yada.... We firmly believe they are now very unethical with little regard for honesty or their buyers concerns. We believe that any/all NYS Real Estate contracts or any contracts with government/state property should be revoked.

However, the store is not kept up in terms of having a clean floor, leaving boxes open that has to be stocked away and also not being the cleanest place to be. The atmosphere is okay but doesn't have a welcoming feel. Every time, at least I came, the checkout line was always understaffed, only having a couple of registers open, and the line backed up. It was always a drag since it would take a while. It would be awesome if something can be worked out. If so, a change can come. The staff did seem annoyed that we wanted to spend way too much money getting sandwiches and groceries with them, but at least they were efficient, and the selection is eclectic and fun. They've got fresh wild turkey eggs, a surprisingly great selection of cheese, all kinds of house-cured meats, as well as the standard array of deli meats with which they'll make you some pretty decent sandwiches. There's also all sorts of sauces, jams, pickled pineapple (!) local honey, beer, cider, some bizarrely priced minced dried onion...I had a blast poking around and overpaying for a random assortment of edible delights (although some were more delightful than others). I'd like to come back with more of a plan to try their poultry, or at least some fresh ground beef, the bacon, and more.
