Other stores in the area I had found nothing or just a couple items. This store, though small, is filled with tons of items and very well organized by size, type, and color. Prices were insanely affordable. Walked out with a brand new pair of shoes with the original box and tags on them, 5 pairs of jeans (1 pair of them with original still on them), a pair of earrings, and several shirts. I honestly forgot the total, but I remember being ecstatic and commenting "that's it??" when she was done entering everything. Great customer service, super friendly. She told me that whatever I tried on and didn't like, just leave in the dressing room and she would come take care of it after I was all done. Will definitely revisit!

They have a wonderful mix of vintage treasures, antiques, toys, clothes, purses, and jewelry-all at great prices. It's cash only, but luckily they accepted my PayPal since I drove an hour to get there. I scored a Wilson leather purse and some vintage jewelry, and even found a child's lunchbox with "Yelp" on the cover, which I thought was pretty humorous since I'm writing this review here. I could've spent another hour browsing, but hunger won out. Definitely a must-stop if you're in or passing through Tilton. I'll be back on my next day off!

Not only do they totally ignore the customers, each sub takes 10-15 minutes to make, and they make one at a time. Phone orders throw things into reverse. An automatic answer is that phone orders take 45 minutes. In person orders average 30 - 40 minutes. On top of it they are miserable. More than once I have seen customers complain. Nothing changes.

I Bank at Camden Bank so I asked if they could hold the groceries while I went to the bank to get some cash. Luckly, I go to that branch often and they know me so I didn't need my ID to take some cash out. I went back to the store to pay for the groceries and when they run them up, I was $7.00 short. The young gentleman at the register took out his wallet and pulled out the $7.00 to pay the balance. I told I could just put a couple things back but he insisted so I let him. When I go back tomorrow, I am dropping off an envelope for him with a thank you note and the money to pay him back. This was completely unexpected so I felt I wanted to acknowledge his thoughtfulness. Thank you.

In my opinion I would confidently say that Clark's shoes outlast other shoes I have bought over the years for the most part. But you do need to take care of the leather so they continue to look great. The summer slip on type of shoes wear kind of quickly on the soles. If you wear then daily then you will get a season out of them. But the leather and stitching are solid with no wear whatsoever. All the other shoes I have from there have lasted for years. The styles they have are great and the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned are their Unstructured Ventilated shoes. The outlet store, on the other hand, has some employee issues. I have been there 4 times in the last few years and the attitude of the staff is awful. They truly don't want to be there selling shoes. They have been condescending to the point of being rude and insulting. A few times I have walked in there the employees have been huddled together talking, laughing, and texting while customers wonder around the store. If you interrupt them and ask for help, expect to see some eyes roll. The last time I was in there I overheard them making fun of a customer who had just left, so I put my shoes down and left. Each time I go in there I hope the previous time was just an isolated incident, but then I even get more disappointed. I won't be going back to the store. I may try to shop online for Clark's shoes, but realistically I will probably just find someplace else where I can try the shoes on.

I had to do some errands in the area, and instead of going to the BJs in Lebanon, New Hampshire, I took advantage of the situation and made my pick up and express pay purchases at the BJs in Tilton. The store is a fairly good size BJs, and it is more tightly packed than other BJs. I have frequent it. A little different arrangement from what I was used to in the Lebanon store. I came over here at around 11 AM, and there were no crowds . In addition, once i made my express pay purchase and picked up my online purchase, I had no problem going through the exit procedures, which, with the pick up feature, is now a lot simpler as the clerk only checks if few items that are apparently told by an algorithm. It was really good to have saved $40 in online coupons that I didn't have to manually clip or store. A really good visit, I was in and out in less than 20 minutes.
