Fairview Mall has gone through an evolution and reimagination of the retail space. I love how they redeveloped the space where Sears used to be. The space is now converted into a mini Chinatown spot with Saint Germain bakery, bubble tea shop, Hong Kong style cafe, Thai restaurant, and a T&T Supermarket. On the top floor there's a Marshalls / Homesense big box store. I noticed the Zara store has been renovated and now occupying 2 levels. The store looks immaculate and love the modern layout and self serve checkout kiosks to make shopping faster for DIY people. I managed to do some shopping at H&M and got some great deals in the sale section. I also bought some groceries like green beans, lychee, bbq pork buns, and curry beef pastries. It's not very often you can go to regional mall and be able to buy clothes, groceries, and bakery goods. It was a pleasant experience. I look forward to the transformation of the vacant Hudson Bay space. Oh did I mention they have a Playdium arcade in the old Sportchek space beside the Cineplex theatre.

You'll find the selection broad enough to keep your pantry happy. However, venture towards the meats and seafood, and there's a distinct aroma that wafts from these sections, and let's just say it's more deterrent than inviting. It's the kind of smell that makes you reconsider buying. So, while the supermarket scores points for snacks and veggies, it might not be your go-to for "fresh" fish or steak. Also, pretty impossible to track down someone working, so hold your questions.

Crammed to the brim with tons of delectable eats, pastes, spices, huge variety of dried and fresh mushrooms, drinks, noodles, sweet and savoury treats. The meat section is SPOTLESS. It's one of the very few butchers in Toronto which sells fresh, not previously frozen goat. Lots of variety and good prices. The fish counter too is spotless and they have regular specials. Gleaming beautiful FRESH fish and no "fishy" smell. Chinese New Year and Têt decorations abounded including festive, happy music. Tons of sweets from Vietnam (exactly the same as I saw when I visited Vietnam), cookies, savoury snacks - DROOL. This store has items from Japan, Korea, PRC, Taiwan, Philippines, Vietnam and Malaysia. The produce counter is impressive. They have everything here including red Vietnamese dragon fruit for a reasonable price. "Furry" squash, fresh aloe, lotus root ... all those delectable Asian delights. Love this store. Always busy.

Both the suit and the shoes are in flawless, perfect condition, with all original tags fully attached. They were tried on exactly once for sizing purposes inside our home and returned within 48 hours. On june 24 2026 was returned , Every statement you make is a complete fabrication invented purely to rob ‼a student of his money. Trying on an item for size does not give you the right to steal $688.17 through false accusations. When we tried to resolve this in-store, we were met with shocking and aggressive behavior. They refused to provide a refund and used physical intimidation to scare us--specifically by aggressively pointing a finger directly in our eyes while talking to us, creating an atmosphere where we felt threatened, ‼as if they would resort to physical violence ‼if we didn't back down. My son specifically asked about your return policy before the purchase, and your staff explicitly lied, promising 30 days. We have the receipt showing a 7-day policy, which you are now using to trap a student--despite him returning the items in just 48 hours in perfect condition. Response to the owner's false claims: Your claim that the suit is 'soiled or scuffed' is a pure fabrication. The suit was tried on only once for sizing, and the tags remain attached. You are making false accusations just to steal $688.17 from a student. To all potential customers: This store is a trap for students. They use verbal lies to induce sales and then refuse refunds through false claims of 'damage.' These people are professional scammers who target young students and rely on intimidation to keep your money. Final Notice: Your intimidation tactics will not work. We are filing a formal complaint with Consumer Protection Ontario regarding your deceptive sales practices and your aggressive, abusive behavior. We will continue to share the truth about your scam until you are held accountable. Do not think you can bully students and walk away with their money! Do not buy from this store! They are liars, cheaters, and predators who target young students shopping alone without their parents. They pressured my student son into buying an expensive suit package by looking him in the eye and lying to his face, telling him he had 30 days to return it. When we looked at the receipt, it actually says 7 days. Because we knew they were lying, my son brought the suit back in perfect condition in only 2 days--well within the 7 days. The suit was tried on exactly once for size. The paper tags, price codes, and plastic are still fully attached and untouched. Trying on a suit does not give this store permission to rob a student! The staff fabricated a disgusting lie, claiming the suit was "used" just to steal his $688.17 and refuse the refund. They are playing games and cheating customers from the very beginning. REFUND THE MONEY TODAY. We are not playing your games anymore. We are officially filing a major fraud report with Consumer Protection Ontario for scamming a student and breaking your own written contract. Stop robbing students!

I visited Marshalls at Fairview Mall today to return a few items. Two items were returned without any issue. The third item was a pan. I clearly explained to the cashier that I had used it once, it immediately changed/turned bad, and I wanted to check whether it was eligible for return. The cashier had trouble scanning the item and called over someone I assume was the manager. She stated that the item could not be returned because it was used. I acknowledged that and said "okay, no problem." She then added that the item was also beyond the return period..again, I said "okay," fully understanding both reasons. However, she then added, "and we don't sell this brand here." That comment was unnecessary and came across as accusing me of lying. I told her I purchased it from this store, and she repeated two more times that they "checked" and do not sell that item here. Before I could respond or clarify anything, she walked away. At that point, it stopped being about the return and became about respect and professionalism. If the return could not be accepted, that was already clearly communicated and understood. There was absolutely no need to imply dishonesty on top of that. This interaction was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. I left extremely upset, and unfortunately this experience has cost Marshalls a regular customer. For reference: this occurred on January 28, 2026 between 1:00-2:30 PM. The employee had black hair, fair skin, and was wearing a white/beige top. I'm extremely mad at her behaviour.
