(They also know what they are talking about - I've saved a ton of time asking the staff about items instead of searching for them.) This location sports a ton of cooking implements, food (both junk and staples), seasonal stuff, and a lot of school supplies. I've never had a problem with staff ringing up the wrong prices or finding broken and opened stuff on the shelves like in other locations. It really serves as a grocer of sorts, gift store, card store and souvenir stop all in one. I was happy to stumble upon this tidbit of information. I do wish that Dollar Tree stores in Canada had a frozen food section with breakfast items and ice cream like their stores over the border do. Instead, I looked at all the candy, chocolate, and chips that I wanted, but had enough willpower to put down. I ended up getting a cute eyeglasses case with elephants on it. I was so pleased with my find. It was the only one left and I love elephants. Kathy was the cashier and she was so nice. She asked me if I wanted a little bag. I declined, saying that it seemed meta to ask for a bag for a case. She shared her story about one man who wanted a bag for each item that he had bought. They were small items. Yikes! It wasn't easy to find staff stocking shelves to ask where things were so I asked the cashiers. The cash registers aren't set up like other stores where there is a long corridor so everyone waits in the main walkway. Since it is part of a mall, there is plenty of parking.
