I have been going to Dolly and Alexis for years, never once have I had a bad experience. They are honest and speak their mind. You have to let them know what you want in advance as they are extremely busy and have high profile clients that travel to Florida just to get their nails done by them. Ok.... Let me start by saying that I wish I could've seen the mix reviews instead of going by IG. There art work is fabulous no doubt but it's not all girls. I never been there actually I received their information from a worker at Ulta in Coral Springs. But any ways, I was a walk in I knew I had to wait no worries I get it but to take almost 3 hours to get fill in 2 fix nails and design was.... For me a little to long. Yes! It was suppose to be simple design on all 10 fingers but not even ( only 4 fingers had design by the end) the young girl must have been new. And she tried her best to make me feel good but the vibe was off. I was a three stars but after almost 3 hrs there I told her I really needed to go (mind you I told her a design and then I think she couldn't do it and she did her own) I didn't say much because I THOUGHT by her doing free style it was quicker.... Nope! Then I left and by the end of the next day all the glitter was gone from both fingers she did. I called and whoever picked up rushed me out the phone and instructed me to send pictures on the fingers. I did but I did also told her I had such a busy weekend and start of the week (the are close sun and monday) so I can make it Wednesday... it's Wednesday I never received a response I followed up and nothing. I never criticize any nail salon because we all have our days but next time if I can't go to my nail tech in PSL then I'll go to a simple nail salon that will charge me the same about and if something is wrong I can go back freely without getting ignore. Where should i start ... this place is just a whole question.. why ? I can't believe they are still up and running. First i call to confirm my appt and someone answers saying "thank god you called" apparently they needed to cancel me ...couldn't find me in the system. How when i had just made the appointment the day before. Whatever things happens so i was put w someone else. I got there at my appt time and had to wait a little okay understandable I'm patient. What's i don't understand is why the main owners mother dolly and daughter alexis are throwing around the N word in front of clients cursing and talking Poorly about previous clients i was very shook. Alexis was doing my Nails had her shoes off feet up on her chair on FaceTime screaming and yelling. Then she starts eating food while doing my nails like what the hell. On top of the unprofessionalism an additional charge to have straight tips if you don't wanna pay you get curved tips. Next issues was alexis did my acrylic and then had someone do my design becuz she "nervous".... The girl who did my design checks me out and tells me there two separate charges since it was two people doing my nails and then ask how I'd like to separate the tip. SLAY!!!!! Love my nails. Came here for the first time after seeing these ladies amazing work on instagram. Had to make a $35 deposit when making my appointment, which as a new customer, I was slightly taken back.... but it was so worth it and from a business perspective I totally understand why deposit is required with appointments for first time customers due to the high no show rates. Atmosphere is very fun and they treat all their customers like friends. It the first time I've been to a salon and the owner took the time to introduce all the technicians and I thought it was very impressive. Dolly did my overlay with Valentino powder and her technique was incredible. Nails are flawless and everything is on point.... the way it's suppose to be. The best I can do is 3 stars. Their work is great, however they are not punctual and the way they talk to their customers is appalling. One of them said a black patron looked like a monkey - TO THE PATRON. They talk about their past guests and past coworkers. The environment is toxic. If you say something about the language and conversation, you are criticized as being uptight/bougie/proper etc. If you don't mind that type of environment- feel free, other wise find some where else. This is one of the most expensive and inconsiderate places I have ever gotten my nails done at. They don't have a set price list to show you every add on so they just charge you as much as they want. I didn't give them a one star because the nail job was not horrendous, it was neat and clean plus very similar to what I asked for. If you do not want to spend $115 on a regular acrylic set do not go here. If you find that this price reasonable then by all means. The pedicure on the other hand was $40 and I left with dead skin and a bad paint job. I will not be going back. read more

My appt was originally at 4 pm .. then she told me come in at 2:30 to get a soak off I got a phone call asking if I can come in early so I went in at 1:40 when I arrived the lady rudely told me I was late to a appt and that the nail tech left . Mean while I'm not late at all and I'm actually like 45 mins early so she continues to rudely argue with me and tell me I'm wrong .. what owner says the customer is wrong lol the customer is never ever wrong okay !!!!!! This is the worst place ever. Got yelled at on the phone because my daughter got lost going there. She even called twice to let them know. Not once did she say if your late your appointment will be canceled. So needless to say she got there late and they canceled her. Who does that. Why did you tell her when she called. Then when I called to ask why she yell at me using profanity. Nice customer service. I have a lot of people that will no longer be going there because of this incident. After paying the $35 deposit, they still told me that I had to pay $70 for my full set on my appt day because the payment from PayPal had not cleared. We agreed to use the $35 for my next appt. my first nail fell off within 3 days, and by the 6th day another nail fell off. She used a piece of a glitter trash bag on my nails and then added the a gel powder top coat on top of it and called it a design. Both of my nails she she did that on fell off and the others started lifting. I've tried multiple times to use the $35 but everytime I call to set an appt they are completely booked for up to two weeks. For 3 months I've been trying to get a refund and I either get ignored or I get a runaround. I would never come back to this place and I would not recommend to others. The nail art is OK; however, my concern is the behavior exhibited by one of the owners. Salon owned by mother & daughter, Dolly and Lexi. Dolly tends to be conversational and is willing to do your nails as asked. Lexi's conversation mirrors the slums of any ghetto, hood rat you could imagine. She abuses the 'N' word over & over again throughout the course of time you're in the salon. She is crass and lacks any type of decorum. The clients are of varying backgrounds; however, the Black patrons will cringe at hearing the negative slur being hurled by Lexi. Their worker, Devon, looks in amazement whenever Lexi starts her 'N' word rants. It's deplorable and shouldn't be tolerated by ANYONE. "Shop Talk" is one thing, but total disregard for the client is unacceptable. Word to the wise to Lexi, read up on the do's & don'ts & extend respect to ALL CLIENTS.
