I found Theresa through yelp and I'm so glad I did! My previous lash girl had moved and I was hoping to find someone in the area. Scheduling an appt was very easy, I texted her for availability and luckily she had a cancellation and was able to see me the next day. I had some questions for her like lash type, (she has synthetic and mink depending on your need) and what type of glue she uses. My previous lash girl taught me to check because some shady places will use weave/hair glue and it can seriously mess up your eyes. Theresa uses lash tavern glue. Fast forward to next day, I arrived at 1245 (appt at 1). She is located inside a hair salon and it was not hard to find. I filled out some basic forms and waivers and into the room we went. The room was clean and well organized. Temperature can be a bit chilly but she had a blanket for me. Overall the process was very smooth, she answered any questions I had, inquired as to what type of curl or look I'm going for and told me a little about herself. Results: absolutely fantastic! The lashes came out wonderfully, the shape and curl looks very natural yet alluring on my eyes. (I got lots of compliments from the boyfriend). I like the job she did because I honestly can't even feel that I have lash extensions on. It's not clunky with glue and I don't feel like my natural lashes are weighed down at all. I find that when my lashes are this comfortable, I'm less likely to touch or pick at them, so they will last a lot longer. Had my lashes done by a new lash artist, Ty and she was great! Her attention to details and her patience made me felt like she was taking her time and making sure my lashes were done right. I always had my lashes done by Theresa there at the studio but she was booked so I went with Theresa's suggestion and tried Ty. Ty is new there and she's really sweet and soft spoken. At the end of the session, she made sure that every lash was put on correctly and made sure that you are satisfy before leaving. The studio itself was nice and clean! All of the artistes are professional and made sure that you were comfortable. Upon arriving, you can see all of the new products set up. I just moved to Katy and I've been getting my lashes done for over two years now. I took them off for a breather and went to Dolled up and had my lashes done by Nina. She was very nice and sweet, but my lashes did not last. I message Theresa (the Manager, I think) after a week and told them how my lashes did not stay. She did not offer to fix the problem or ask me to come in to see my lashes. Tomorrow will be officially 2 weeks and I only have less then 10 lashes on each eye. I got the natural length (11) and the thin lashes (.15) so you can't say they are too long or too thick. I wish she was more responsive and provide better customer service. First let me say I was hesitant to try eyelash extensions again because I had gone somewhere else previously and they really messed up my lashes. So I was a little nervous when calling to make my appointment. I walked in at my scheduled time and after meeting Mai...my fears were quickly put to rest. Mai really looked at my lashes, told me what she would be doing and got to work. She was so nice and made sure I was comfortable. The process was painless and my eyelashes looked great! I come back two weeks later for my fill and again...my lashes looked awesome. The following day I went to an appointment at different place for my eyebrows. The technician put pressure on the one eye which caused a few lashes to come out. So I contacted Dolled Up Studio to ask what charge would be to fill in just a few lashes on the one eye. They graciously offered to do it at no charge. Which was a pleasant surprise. I can't say enough good things about Dolled Up studio and especially Mai! Making an appointment was easy online and you get text confirmation almost right away. Mai is excellent! She does such quality work and genuinely wants you to be happy with the end result. The prices are reasonable too. The only negative thing I can say is their website still has their old location listed. That might need to be updated to avoid any confusion. read more

horrible experience. first time going, Theresa was 45 minutes late. once she started, not only was she texting majority of the time, but she kept sniffling over my head. the lashes did look full, but after a week and a half, about 40% of my lashes had fallen. i went back for my two week refill, and she spent 45 minutes on one eye. not actually putting lashes on them, but texting whoever was blowing up yer phone every 3 minutes. then as she went to my left eye, she spent 15 minutes on and told me " only one of your lashes needed a lot of work". now i have one lashes that looks naked and another one that looks twiggy and it's only been a week. i would not recommend. read more

I went here for the first time and I had a really tough time liking this studio. This Asian girl name Theresa was suppose to do a refill for my eyelashes and she kept blowing up my phone back and forth trying to change it so she can add someone else in place of mine so she can get paid . I had bought a group on online and with the refill it came for free. So I had already made my appointment prior to coming to her and when I got there she was constantly on her phone and kept talking to her colleague about things you should not be talking about in front of customers. I HATE my lashes!!!!! Theresa was very knowledgeable and professional unfortunately that has nothing to do with her integrity. My lashes do not even look like I have any on. They look like I put mascara on and very lite mascara at that. There's no length, volume or anything and I definitely expected both length and volume. When consulting with Theresa, she was explaining to me about the lashes she would use because my lashes were curly. I expressed to her that I did not want to do the lashes if it would not make a difference. SHE KNEW the lashes she was recommending wouldn't make much of a difference and serviced me any way. She stated , " it would look like you have something on". I felt like she took advantage and took my money. She offered me a refill special but after seeing my lashes I knew I wouldn't come back. What's even more disappointing is that I usually do my own lashes so I was ecstatic to have them professionally done. I had removed a fresh set of lashes that I had done myself to come to Theresa and it was a waste of time and money. The lashes I did myself look more professional than the work I received. It was definitely not what I expected. If she knew she could not achieve the look that I wanted she should have been honest with me.
