Absolutely wonderful facility with incredible colorists and stylists. Gilda has done my hair since 2016 and has never disappointed. I'm a blonde, so I'm very picky with highlights and she just gets it right every time. Gilda had also put extensions in my hair for years now and she's the very best. Don't waste your time or money going elsewhere first, you'll just end up in Gilda's chair having her fix someone else's poor work. We scheduled a appointment at 9:30, we made sure to talk and schedule early, they even checked in and confirmed that I was having the appointment, but when we came to the location no one was there. I waited in my car till 10, yet no one opened the door. First appointment was for a high light and cut. Gilda straight out bleached my hair and then shaved my head!! That was not what I asked for. I showed her a picture of the style and she says oh yeah I do that all the time. My hair was pretty long and shaggy considering I hadn't had a cut since June. There was a lot that needed to be cut off. Instead of using scissors to cut my fine hair, she started with clippers and just kept getting closer and closer to my scalp. The back and sides are so bald I am having to wear a ski cap a night to keep my head warm. It's the worst color job and words can't even describe how bad the cut is. DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE. I am writing this very long and thorough review because the work, unprofessionalism, and customer service here was extremely terrible to put it *kindly*. I have attached evidence for the disaster that my hair is and I wish I had taken better pictures to show my journey but alas, I had no idea I would be disputing this issue. Also excuse my made up makeup photo, that was the only one I had with the bleached streak. Let me begin, I had originally called and asked for pricing details, where the receptionist (I forgot her name) told me to come in for a consultation with gilda if I liked and I said great, and hung up. (I wanted to be serviced by her because I heard good things). So I accepted an appointment. The day of the appointment, I get a call back and get asked if I want to come in earlier which I also accepted. I wasnt told it was with a different stylist. Complete disclaimer because I want to be truthful, I'm almost positive Giovanna came and introduced herself when she started on me, but Im hard of hearing and only caught bits of her introduction (grave error on my part) and assumed she was gilda. I sat in her chair and show her medium brown level hair and asked if she could take my VIRGIN healthy darkest brown hair to that colour and she said no it was too damaging. So I told her to take inspiration from the picture but NOT to give me hilights, which I reiterated 3 times for her to hear, gilda to hear and the secretary. (It was a quiet day). I also came in with a pre bleached streak which I wanted dyed blue. (That was the only part of my hair that had ever been touched with colour or bleach). Giovanna consulted gilda about what to do with my hair and I heard babylights and said i don't like the lights because i don't like the contrast of blonde streaks on my dark hair and asked her not to give me that. Oh boy, Not only did I leave the salon with a FRIED highlighted white blonde streaky hair(which was WAY lighter than the colour I originally wanted) she took the little prebleached streak I asked for and turned it into an unevenly parted quarter blue chunk of my hair. I was told by giovanna to come back to her if I didnt like it and glenda told me to wait a week. I knew they could tell I didnt like it. I tipped giovanna anyway because she was really nice and paid a grand total of 200 dollars and left thinking, I wanted a change, it's not what I wanted but let me see if I can work with this because I hate making a fuss, also it wasnt looking too bad when I FIRST left the salon. I waited a little over a week because I dont usually speak up for myself and was too embarrassed to speak up originally but that was around the time my hair started to turn a GREENISH shade because of the highlights and probably the toner left in too long I assume. (No I hadn't gone swimming, yes I wash my blue streak seperately from the rest of my hair). Not even just that, but my hair felt more and more like sandpaper, even after the conditioning treatment I put in it. So after speaking to my coworker (he's a stylist, we work in the beauty industry) he told me I deserved to get my money back because they BOTCHED my hair. Which gave me courage to call the salon close to two weeks after my visit wanting to speak to the manager. I was called back 3 times (they thought I was someone else), and I suppose gildda refused to get on the phone with me because by the third phone call I was explaining to the receptionist the HOT mess that was my hair. I was offered to come back in and have another stylist fix it but I didnt want my hair touched at this point because it was so damaged and asked for a refund. She said no because it had been 2 weeks, I wasnt told I'd lose service if I waited too long either. (I also didnt know if that's common knowledge because this is the first time I've ever gotten my hair done). Not only is it COMPLETELY unprofessional for a manager to REFUSE to speak to a unsatisfied POLITE customer (I never got ugly and spoke very calmly) but it is the height of TERRIBLE customer service not to provide a refund for a service you know your employee messed up on which is the only reason I'm writing the first review I've ever written in my life. This place is so unprofessional and ridiculous. I didn't even stay to let them touch my hair because they are that careless. My appt was at 1:30. I went to the front desk to let her know I was here. She told me she would be a minute. I sat there for half an hour, and never once did my stylist come and greet me to let me know "I'm sorry my last client is running over a little, I'll be right with you." That's such poor etiquette. So when I went back to the front to let them know that's rude, the stylist yells from her chair "OK IM READY!" as she's still styling hair. So extremely rude and careless. Horrible customer service. This is my favorite local salon. Gilda, the owner, is so sweet. I love her accent! It makes you feel like a movie star getting your hair cut by someone who when they say your name you feel like royalty. :) I'm pretty low maintenance on the hair do, but it seems like someone else can always screw it up. Do not go here. Shady business practice and don't trust them when they say they know what they are doing. Chemically processed my hair three times because they did it horribly each time (I left with orange, green and other tones).... they tell you the are giving you their best colorist and I went in simply for balyage which ended up looking like my roots had grown out for more than a year. On top of al this after the third attempt of trying to save my hair the manager tells the stylist to charge me for use of their coloring product as if I had anything to do with them screwing up. I ended up finding a superior salon in the same area that had to fix everything. Save your money and time and go somewhere else. read more

I went in and had Eddy cut my hair for the first time. I showed him a picture with lots of layers that I wanted. I came out with just an inch taken off my original cut. I wasn't even shown the back of my head with a mirror after the cut, otherwise he would have heard me complain then. I basically got ripped off $70 for a trim I could have gotten done elsewhere for $15. Save your money and go somewhere else! read more
