So naturally, I was pretty scared when I was heading in to go microblading... I debated just not going all day! What if the microblading goes horribly wrong and I am left with angry sharpie looking eyebrows? But I ended up going--and I am GLAD I did. Honestly, I never believed I could look so pretty and put together just waking up in the morning and after a shower! Allie did an amazing job! My new eyebrows look so natural and my friends compliment me on them all the time. The strokes look like REAL hair! I look like I was blessed with bold beautiful brows naturally. I am so happy I had Allie as my artist--and that I LISTENED to her. I did not want to do a shape other than the shape of my overly plucked brows so it scared me when Allie wanted to do make my eyebrows a shape that would be radically different! Different length, different arch, different angle, different thickness! I was terrified and I just told myself, "well, she's an EXPERT, Ruby--she probably knows better than you do." And guess what? SHE DID. Throughout the whole microblading process, Allie was comforting me by making casual conversation and telling me how great my brows look. It was definitely not a scary experience! I am very happy I did it! I am more in love with my brows each day! I feel so beautiful! I feel like my face has changed for the better! This was my first time getting eyelash extensions done and I had a great experience! I've never had nice full lashes and eyelash extensions are definitely a convenient and easy way to have full lashes without the hassle and synthetic look of falsies. First of all the ambience was peaceful and the massage table to lie down on was super comfortable. Allie offers you choices on what kind of eyelashes you want. The process overall takes about two hours but it didn't feel long at all; you're definitely able to sleep right through it. Even though my eyes are pretty sensitive, getting the extensions was not difficult and Allie was very careful and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I am definitely happy with my results and have received a lot of compliments. The eyelashes look very natural and look as if they are growing straight from the skin. Update So I've made through the healing phase. It took about a week or so for all the scabbing to come off. It initially appeared that most of the pigment had lifted with the scabs but just as it says on the instructions over the course of a few days the pigment and strokes slowly returned. This is my first round at 3 weeks. I will schedule the final touch up in a couple of weeks. By the way, I do have oily skin and as you can see (from photo with both brows) the pigment still took very well. The photo with one brow is where I started day one of microblade. Cheers. read more

When I started using Zoom filter to add brows to my face during my meetings I knew it was to get my brows fixed I love how my brows turned out! I had micro blading done over 6 years ago and it turned cooper. I have gone to two different eyelash techs in the past. While I love the first one I went to, it became costly to maintain ($75 every 2 wks). The last one I went to (she's in Dixon), Allie says she damaged my eyelashes cause she used too much glue and actually glued some to my skin. I know scarrry. Omg Allie is soooo knowledgeable! U can tell she know's her stuff and she's so sweet and gentle. Had I not drank 3 cups of coffee this morning, I'm pretty sure I would've slept. The best thing is she only charges $40 for classic fills upto 3 weeks as long as you have 40% left. That is hard to beat! Sooooo happy my co-worker recommended her. I had my eyebrow Microblading in Sept 27, I asked for the copy of my pictures sent to me but I never received it. I saw it was posted in their website but didn't bother to give me any attention after the appointment. I was expecting to have a touch up because it was a little bit lighter after a few weeks, healing went well with less scabbing because the before wasn't too bad, i just needed a reshaping and a defined tail. I told her my availability during the initial appt. very easy, every Monday and every other weekend. Until now almost 3 months. I was never accommodated and got a text that she is fully booked on Saturdays and closed on Sunday and Monday. There! Until now, no attention. I was communicating through text and was directed to go to website for scheduling and all my calls were NOT answered. So frustrating. New update: 2/1/2020. I finally got scheduled today for the touch up. She reminded me to update my review. She gave me a $25 discount today. I got more of micro shading this time because she said the microblading didn't work in my skin that was why it looked scarsed on some areas. She made it looked fuller this time. I asked if I would need another retouch after, she said No, it's good! The process this time hurts more than the first time. I don't know if that is normal. But i just want it to be fixed and I'm happy that it is fixed. I like the shape and the look of it. Thank you Allie. read more

Loved my lashes. They looked so good but also so natural. I asked her to make them fuller but not so long so that they don't get into my line of vision. She really did just that and everyone just loved them. They also have stayed on very well, better than my experience with others. I feel like their my own lashes but fuller and thicker. I'm coming back for my fills. Another plus was that her prices were reasonable. Not super cheap because she did use quality lashes and she took her time with me, but not so expensive where it seemed overpriced. Overall I'm happy with my first visit. read more

Yesterday I had my touch up - longer than the preferred time. With Covid closures, it turned out to be longer; but, I am pleased that Allie still honored the touch up. She is the third artist I have used over several years. I am glad my previous person, who no longer does brows, referred me to her. I was having to pencil in my brows (which was disappointing) about 2 months following, but I also know from Allie's discussion the skin can become resistant over multiple procedures and everyone is different. I am pleased with the microblading method. (Soft Tap was used on previous procedures.) My 19 year old recognized immediately I got my brows done again. She is the make up expert of the family, so that made me feel good. :-) I love the shape of my brows and I am pleased she made them fuller and the shade color. I've have always healed well from all the procedures. My only regret is that I wish I would have gotten the touch up reminder via text (vs email) or set up at the end of my first appointment. With my initial appointment in 12/17 the day of the most recent closure and the holidays just things are forgotten. I've noticed she has updated her healing instructions with more detail, so I'm going to be more careful with my facial products over the next 30 days. I agree Allie is a perfectionist; she really does want you to be happy with your brows and she doesn't want a shape that doesn't work for your face. I am hopeful I won't need another touch up and I'll see her at an annual appointment. It is such a great investment! I recommend her for brows for certain. As a side note, I did have beautiful brows in my teenage years - but took a razor to the front part of them because my mom wouldn't let me pluck them (I always said I felt like I looked like Bert from Sesame Street with the Unibrow!) My girls, 23 and 19, have beautiful brows ... and I have told them repeatedly don't touch them, get them professionally trimmed. Who knows some day they may see Dolly Eye! It's been a little over a week and half since my touch up but after all the scabbing have gone away, my brows looks like a hot mess. You can tell where she added more hair strokes on both side, the shade is lighter. It just a hot mess . The shading is off and now I'm walking around with ****** eyebrows. Idk if she intended to rush my brows since it was late in the day but I trusted her with my brows and now i regret it. I will not be returning to get it done for another touch up and will wait till it fully heals to go to someone else to get it redone correctly. read more

Finished my first hybrid set with Allie and I must say that she did an amazing job! I have had eyelash extensions before but one time it was done so poorly that I immediately had them removed after 48 hours of wear because my eyes were always red and irritated. I thought I was just allergic to a different type of glue so I never had them done again. I figured I might treat myself to getting my lashes done again because maybe I was overreacting or I did something in my sleep like rub my eyes that caused them to get that red and irritated so when I finished my session with Allie today... BAM I had no issue opening my eyes and with no irritation whatsoever. I learned that my last eyelash lady actually glued the false lash to my skin!
