They are so deserved…read more This year, as I enter my 70's, I had to have a few procedures done, one of which was deep cleaning before shoulder surgery in a few months. This review I thought I'd focus on Dr Bosler's hygienist, Molly. Molly is extremely knowledgeable. I'm a nurse myself and am so impressed with her care of the whole person. She is so thorough she has been able to assess a few dental problems and address them early saving me from a much worse problem and expense down the line. A few years ago Molly noticed a "shadow" on my inner cheek that warranted a visit to my primary care doc. As it turned out there was no cancer and I did not require further work up. I've been blessed to be able afford dental checkups my entire life. However, having a team of professionals who have helped me avoid serious dental issues and expenses really has helped! Molly, if you read this, I hope you to know you're the best of the best. You look at the whole patient, their lifestyle and needs. It's that "extra" genuine personal interest, intelligence and gentleness you provide that makes you the exceptional medical professional you are. Patient comfort and care is of utmost importance and so appreciated. Dr Bosler is terrific, I've had a new crown recently and the procedure was done timely, comfortably and efficiently. The office/ waiting area feels More like a boutique hotel lobby than a dentist office. I highly recommend if you're looking for a dentist, check out this one.

First step was the walkthrough process, making sure you knew exactly what was going on, and what they were doing. Second, the numbing came. I had my mouth numbed once before (long ago) from a cavity and I remember a very painful pinch as the needle went in. Here at Vacaville Dental, you can't even feel a thing. The doctor has very soft and steady hands, and constantly makes sure you are okay, and that you don't feel any pain or discomfort. Next step came the extraction. This was the part I was so nervous about. My mouth was completely numb, and they made sure it was. I couldn't feel a thing the entire time, and I even got to wear these cool glasses When my tooth came out, all I said was "that's it??" Very quick, easy and pain free!     Military community please read this if you have United Concordia for insurance!!!!…read more I went in about a year ago for a simple checkup and to discuss a broken tooth. During the appointment, I specifically explained that my insurance would likely deny X-rays because I had already had them done less than a year earlier. They told me they would still run everything through insurance and, if it wasn't covered, they would honor a new patient special rate. At no point were X-ray costs discussed. When I checked out, I paid around $1,000 for the crown and buildup. No one mentioned owing anything additional for X-rays. They also recommended a deep cleaning that would cost about $800 for the first round. When I later asked if we could remove services insurance wouldn't cover, I was told no because it was part of their "standard of care." I couldn't afford the extra treatment, so I didn't return. About a year later, the crown started irritating my gums and the tooth began throbbing. When I went back, I was told I needed a root canal and that I should have done the deep cleaning. I requested a predetermination, left, and switched dentists. A few months later, my insurance reviewed the claims and determined I had been overcharged based on the crown codes used. They issued a refund, and I thought the situation was resolved. Then I received a letter stating I owed $260 on the same account, marked over 90 days past due and sent to internal collections. After my husband spent time sorting things out with insurance, the office manager of Nut Tree told me that I had never paid for my X-rays and that, because of that, she technically should not have issued the refund I received. She said I could keep the refund, but the $260 balance would still stand. The voicemail only added to the confusion because the X-rays were never presented as an outstanding balance when I paid for treatment. As far as I knew, my account had been settled based on the amount I was charged at checkout. It wasn't until the insurance issues were being reviewed later that the unpaid X-rays were even brought up. What makes this even more frustrating is that I specifically raised concerns about insurance coverage before the X-rays were taken. Looking back, I later discovered that financial responsibility language was included within the exam consent paperwork, but there was never a clear discussion that I could end up personally responsible for hundreds of dollars if those X-rays were denied. I tried calling multiple times and never got a response. The moment I put everything in writing via email, I got a quick reply and a much friendlier tone. At that point, I agreed to pay because I was exhausted by the stress. I'm pregnant, and I did not have the emotional fight to keep going over something that never should have escalated like this. Furthermore, this company wants feedback to be better per responses to reviews but I can't even get the office manager on the phone to talk about my experience. My advice: get EVERYTHING in writing. Read everything. Get everything; pricing/payments/insurance coverage amounts on every service before doing the service. Do not sign anything you don't fully understand, Don't trust their word because they won't honor it unless on paper. And if they are pushing services that don't feel right or don't fit your situation, walk out. (I wish I would've). Because at the end of the day, it really felt like it was never about you or your care. This company is all about money.

    I initially reached out to the owner of NouVeau Skin Studio (Sandy) via email, which she never…read morereplied to. I waited about a week, no response. Since I saw that she responds to messages on Yelp, I e-mailed again (this time on Yelp). She requested for me to text message her so we could schedule an appointment for my mom (I was trying to treat her with a facial for her retirement). I texted her and waited a day for her to respond. We finally set up the appointment for my mom, which was scheduled for this afternoon. After driving from Concord to pick up my mom and then directly to NouVeau Skin Studio (in Vacaville), we were about seven minutes late due to traffic. After parking, I received a text message from NouVeau's owner asking if we were on our way. I texted her saying that we just parked. The doors were locked when we tried to enter the establishment. We knocked on the door twice, but no one responded. I kept texting her, which she read my messages as I sent them (thanks to the read receipts on iPhones), but did not respond. I got her voice message, which said that she planned on leaving if my mom didn't show up within five minutes so she could "run errands". Meanwhile, my mom and I were trying to make sure we were at the correct location since the doors were locked and no one was responding to us. We went around to the salon next door to see if that was the correct location; however, the wonderful person at the salon told us that NouVeau Skin Studio was two doors down (the initial location that we were at). After several text messages trying to get some direction from the owner (who again was still reading my text messages as I sent them), I called her but she didn't answer my call. Eventually, I text her asking to respond so my mom and I can just leave. She responded saying "yes". Honestly, I should've just kept looking for a more professional skin care specialist for my mom's retirement gift. I'm glad that other people had better experiences than I did, but I thought today was completely ridiculous. Zero out of five stars, but unfortunately, Yelp won't allow me to give this much deserved rating.
