I went last Friday and good thing I got there right before 1900 as they had a sign on the door saying they were closing early, at 1900. I went today and got there just before 1800, to find another sign stating they were closing at 1700 and yet there were at least two employees inside ignoring me standing at the door. It's very frustrating having an unlimited membership where I schedule my sprays around important events, that I cannot use because you continue to close your establishment early. Had I known you were closing early, I would have come earlier, as I'm sure I'm not the only customer who feels this way.

They were outrageous and you're better off purchasing them from another shop or website. One of the lotions was over $100. I paid $15 for a sample tube of lotion, that's insane. They also sell Obagi products which is a high end professional line of skincare that should be sold by those in the specific field like a Medispa or dermatologist.

Her prices are well below what she should be charging between her quality, experience, and inflation. I did the rapid spray so I can rinse off in 4 hours, which definitely works for my schedule. She requested for me to text message her so we could schedule an appointment for my mom (I was trying to treat her with a facial for her retirement). I texted her and waited a day for her to respond. We finally set up the appointment for my mom, which was scheduled for this afternoon. After driving from Concord to pick up my mom and then directly to NouVeau Skin Studio (in Vacaville), we were about seven minutes late due to traffic. After parking, I received a text message from NouVeau's owner asking if we were on our way. I texted her saying that we just parked. The doors were locked when we tried to enter the establishment. We knocked on the door twice, but no one responded. I kept texting her, which she read my messages as I sent them (thanks to the read receipts on iPhones), but did not respond. I got her voice message, which said that she planned on leaving if my mom didn't show up within five minutes so she could "run errands". Meanwhile, my mom and I were trying to make sure we were at the correct location since the doors were locked and no one was responding to us. We went around to the salon next door to see if that was the correct location; however, the wonderful person at the salon told us that NouVeau Skin Studio was two doors down (the initial location that we were at). After several text messages trying to get some direction from the owner (who again was still reading my text messages as I sent them), I called her but she didn't answer my call. Eventually, I text her asking to respond so my mom and I can just leave. She responded saying "yes". Honestly, I should've just kept looking for a more professional skin care specialist for my mom's retirement gift. I'm glad that other people had better experiences than I did, but I thought today was completely ridiculous. Zero out of five stars, but unfortunately, Yelp won't allow me to give this much deserved rating.

Yelp needs to give room for more stars because Megan deserves a 10 star review seriously! I have been wanting to get my eyebrows done for 5+ years but haven't found someone who I felt was good enough. I looked at people all the way from Roseville, Davis, Vacaville and San Francisco. I've known Megan for awhile now, and I've watched her work, not once has she done something that makes me think, never mind she's not the one. So I finally got the nerves to make an appointment with her, AND HOLY EYEBROW GODESS! Words do not do her justice! She's a sweetheart, explains every step of the process, makes sure she knows exactly what you want, keeps you comfortable through the whole process, and gives very thorough after care details as well as an aftercare goodie bag! There wasn't a single second that I felt pain, or uncomfortable etc. and seriously I love my brows so much I want to cry every time I look at them! I'm so glad I made the right choice! As Megan said, 3x a charm! She was my 3rd (Appointment) and best choice I did for my microblading procedure! It's my first time doing it, after a month of choices and I'm glad I did and found her! Megan did an amazing job!!! I had never gotten my teeth whitened and was pretty nervous. Megan walked me through the process and and helped calm my nerves!! Jamila recommended color correction to me as my previous brows were faded and a little discolored. She was very precise in mapping out my brows (she even continued to map out my brows in between passes to ensure that my brows were even). Jamila has very gentle hands. While she was doing my brows, I was super comfortable and relaxed and almost fell asleep. Immediately after my service, my brows were barely red or swollen. I have to go back for touch up in about 8 weeks. I highly recommend Jamila for ombré powder brows. Jamila is professional and friendly and addresses all your concerns.

Aileen has refused to give me an refund and correct her work (without additional charge). I have posted the conversation between Aileen and I as well as pictures. Long story short: I scheduled with Aileen for touch up on my eyebrows to make them DARKER MORE BO $195 (2 HOURS) I was coming from San Francisco which would be an 1hour 15min drive. In the middle of driving to get to the appointment she calls me and ask if I can reschedule my appointment suggest I go to the mall or dinner until 6pm because she had an family emergency and double booked, I told her no as I have children and my sitter is only able to stay until 5pm. I admit I got to my appointment 15 minutes late due to traffic and getting lost she had to give me directions by phone as my gps wasn't working properly. I go in she seated me (NEVER MENTIONED TIME) she numbed me/got set up with equipment (10 minutes )and proceeded to work on my eyebrows. (20 minutes)Her next appointment literally walks in while I'm getting my eyebrows done and she begins to start rushing and literally 5 minutes of them waiting she says "i'm finishing up now" to the lady waiting! I'm thinking whoa what it's only been 20 minutes she can't possibly be done the website says 2HOURS ! I get up and look at the work and I tell her it looks really light and she says to wait till it heals to see the outcome. I'm not a professional so I trust her judgment and thank her for her service TIP and leave ! So 7 days go by it has now healed and I send her pictures that my eyebrows are noticeably light and dark in a lot of spots making it look strange. She says wait 2 weeks until it fully heals (before I left the shop she said 7 days). I wait the two weeks and she ignores my texts messages!? Finally I text again with pictures and she responds saying her daughter has Covid and to wait another 2 weeks I'm sympathetic so I understand and I do so ! Again I text her two weeks later ! No reply so now I'm frustrated and tired of being put off ! So I text her with a little more frustration in my text tone...she responds to that with an attitude so now at this point I'm sick of her bull crap and tell her I want a refund because she rushed and because she worked on my eyebrows for only 20 minutes!!! I told her her website say 2HOURS so why did she only give me 20 minute work !! Her excuse was I was late ! I told her if that's the case I still should've been in your chair for 1 hour and 40 minutes it's ridiculous to take my money knowing you rushed and did a bs job ! The convo speaks alot about her character and I would not recommend. I was so hurt honestly because I love her work and she does amazing job, I really wanted her to take responsibility for her carelessness and correct it ! It's was never about money just integrity THE MESSAGES SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES !
