I have seen Dr. Domanchuk for many years and he has helped me with ordering progressive lenses. I have always found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable. His eye exams are thorough. One time he ordered a kind of lens made of a new kind of plastic, but I didn't like them, and he kindly ordered the old kind and didn't charge me. I was helped by Optometrist Ken Kaiser. The eye exam was thorough and he took time to explain the process to me and he demonstrated the findings with me as well. I had never worn glasses in my life and I choose a set of frames that make me appear to be much more intellectual and debonair than I actually am! I was helped by the staff in getting the very frames that I desired from 90s cinema (Malcolm X, JFK) and they helped me find a totally old school brand as well, the same exact brand my Grandfather wore in the 1950s-60,authentic. After 2 eye exams I still can't see thru the top of my glasses..they came in aweful shape with the lenses falling off ish..just bad..I bought a 400 dollar pair and they came back with the wrong prescription and worse lenses than before..total junk..my back up pair are blurry and lopsided from him..I received no prescription and can't go elsewhere ..guess what..no refund even with trifocals where bi focal should be in badly made uneven glasses..nope screw you..they want 100 attempts to make them right..but I'm blind for months..2 exams..2 different pair of glasses..then sweet Debbie showed her true colors ...I'm not going to swear but she is one. read more

Dr. Domanchuck is an extremely nice and easy going guy. He is passionate about his profession and clearly answered all of my questions in a language that I could understand. He has a light air about him and the entire experience was enjoyable. He even had me laughing during the visit which made it fun. He quickly yet patiently did my eye exam and got me fitted for contacts. I have a strong astigmatism and have had a nightmare of a time trying to find contacts that fit. He really knows his stuff because the first pair he had me try on were perfect, I feel like it's a miracle. I'm so thankful that we have such a great optometrist here in town! read more

They are working hard for their patients during these difficult times, while also helping us stay safe and healthy by keeping things clean and providing space for social distancing. I don't know what happen in the last few years with Vision Center, but it has definitely has gone down hill. They don't return phone calls or answer messages sent on there website. When I finally got a hold of office, they stated that I needed to go to their website to request appointment, which I did, but never heard back. Ended up going to A&E for eye exam but planned on going to Vision Center for my glasses. I looked on website stated that no appointment is necessary if you already have RX. When I went there, I almost thought it was no longer opened. Weeds all in front of location, very unkempt, looks vacant. It was open but very dark inside, and informed that I do need to make appointment. I went to look at what was covered by my insurance, I was shocked that they had a very small selection and the style from many years ago. I went online and ordered instead. Its probably time for this business to close its doors. read more

My partner had an appointment at this office and the staff was inattentive. To start off he hasn't been to the office in a very long time he than called to make an appointment when he arrived they than told him that he did not have an appointment and would have to reschedule which he did. We than came back to the office THREE WEEKS later and we checked in. We waited over thirty minutes during that time two more people had arrived and been helped. We decided this was odd so we checked with the front desk and they marked us as a "no show" while we were sitting patiently in the lobby!! We waited an additional 30 minutes while another two patients were assisted all the while being assured that we would be next. When the optometrist finally came and got us he said "better late than never" showing no signs of empathy for his offices lack of consideration of our time. This office needs to work on there organizational skills as well as there customer service. I am deeply offended at the way this office represented themselves today. I hope no one has the experience we had. read more

I wish I could give a 5 star review. Dr Domanchuk is wonderful, helpful, informative, and caring. Switched to him after getting a horrible experience at another optometrist's office. But the clerical staff definitely need to brush up on their manners and work on being more efficient. I waited on hold for 15 minutes this morning, while their computer booted up (at 10 am), before finally hanging up. I called back this afternoon and got put on hold twice more. Finally was able to conclude my business. When I mentioned that I had waited on hold for so long, I would hope they would at least apologize. But I didn't receive more than an "ugh." Dr. Domanchuk is amazing. But his staff make me consider switching to Costco. read more

Dr. D is the best OD I've ever dealt with. His demeanor and "bedside manner" is very comforting and welcoming. He shares the results of all the tests her performs and the pictures of my eyes with candor and honesty. My eyes are difficult to fit with contacts, but he always manages to do so. Same goes for my glasses. Always a good fit. The staff is very friendly and dedicated to making me happy. I highly recommend this practice. read more

Dr. Domanchuk is the best Optometrist I have ever had. He is friendly, competent and very up to date with the latest diagnostic equipment. In addition he has been a supporter of the Eureka Host Lions attempts to provide eye care for those that cannot afford it. We get many pairs of used eye glasses from him to be provided to people world wide who have no other way to get the glasses they need. His staff are very helpful and have always been able to fit my glasses quickly and efficiently. I would recommend the Vision Center and Dr Domanchuk to anyone. read more
