We stopped for lunch on a roadtrip after reading some great reviews. Driving into the town was sketchy with homeless people walking around and we were honestly kind of scared to leave our car outside while we went in. Food was ok but definitely not anything i would recommend. Place was pretty dirty from years of being open. The best part were the servers were on top of it. read more

This place needs some love. Both inside and out. Even a good cleaning would make a difference. Ceiling tiles inside need to desperately be repaired. Although they have great reviews and the service was great I don't think I'd ever go back here. If it hadn't been for someone taking me to lunch I would never have eaten here. Not necessarily because of the food but because it's so dirty and unkept inside. I only ordered a chicken hard shell taco and it honestly had zero flavor. Ate here with a large group and had a great experience. Staff was extremely friendly and got to meet Domingo himself. Domingo is very passionate about aviation history as evident by all the autographed photos of astronauts and test pilots on the walls. He shared a lot of fun stories from his experience with those aviation greats. The appetizer platters, salsa, seafood and steak entries were great. Finished off our meal with some fried ice cream that was also delicious. Overall great food and service and a fun place to visit if you are into aviation history. This restaurant was unexpected hidden gem in Boron, CA. The restaurant is in an area of town that has seen better days, but don't let that stop you. The staff were friendly and provided great service. The restaurant is older and could use a little TLC, but it was clean. The food was delicious! Fresh hot tortilla chips with salsa that had just the right level of spice. Husband had the mole enchiladas and said the mole was awesome. I had the chicken souiza enchiladas, which were excellent. I haven't been to Domingo's in years. But it was just as good as I remember. It was a bit loud because they had a large crowd from NASA at nearby Edwards AF also there. I had a fantastic carnitas burrito. It was filled with meat and not too many beans. My wife had the fish tacos. The fish was unbelievable. Pleasant surprise! We stopped by Domingo's for dinner on our drive to Vegas. It was one of a very few restaurant options we could find, so we didn't have any expectations going in. But boy were we impressed! The customer service was great, and food was delicious! The fish (we got both salmon & tilapia) was perfectly cooked with great taste.We even saw Santa eating at the restaurant, and he took pictures with our baby boy. Had a great meal at Domingo's! I had the fish tacos which were delicious. The chips were fresh and we got an appetizer plate with something for everyone. The fried ice cream was so large and the perfect end to the meal. I would definitely recommend it if you are out near Edwards. The service was timely and thoughtful. So, Domingo's has been reopened under new management so we decided to drive up from LA and check it out. The service was good, food just okay, and the ambiance was a big zero. Why would you buy a landmark restaurant, known to be a museum of artifacts for those who love NASA/aerospace, and not keep the major drawing card? Why should anyone go out of their way to eat at a place totally devoid of character and history? If you happen to be driving by, it's worth a stop, but it is no longer a destination. It's sad how Domingo screwed this place under his mismanagement and how the new owners have been left to fend with the husk of a former tourist stop. read more

I have to drive 20 miles to get to Domingo's. Totally worth it!! The food is always excellent and the menu is large. The chips and salsa are great and the service is good and friendly. There is also a selection of American style food on the menu. I like that the dinner style meals are still a large platter of food and come with a salad. Perfect! They serve ice cold bottles of beer and chilled glasses. Nice touch. It is like your grandma is in the kitchen making everything fresh for you. I love their rice and beans and I am not a total fan usually of refried beans but Domingo's are delicious. The seafood selections are amazing. My friend had the 7 Mares soup. We have been wanting to try this place for a long time and it just hadn't worked out until today. From now on, we are going to make sure it works out! The food is excellent: my husband had chile Colorado which was delicious and I had fish. Their grilled fish dish looked good but they use tilapia and I am not a fan. At my request, they prepared the red snapper they offer in the way they do the "grilled fish", namely by topping it with onion, tomato, and mushrooms. It was SO good! The newish owners seem to be doing a good job maintaining the good reputation of this place. My husband was a little fussy about actually stopping to eat until I mentioned the astronauts/AFB connection. We will be back! read more
