The staff do not seem to understand how or care enough to do their job properly. I came here for a cleaning, xrays, and had a tooth filled that had a cavity. Later I was notified that i was responsible for a $700 bill that my insurance was refusing to cover. When I asked the claims specialist why the claim was rejected she let me know that its not her job to find out why and i would need to reach out to my insurance company. My insurance company let me know they only denied the claim because there were billing errors listed on the claim and it was submitted multiple times. They had already sent the dental office this information and were even willing to reach out to them again. The concerning part is the claims specialist didn't even take the time to follow up on the claim before sending me the bill and instead of taking accountability she acted as if it was no fault of hers when things were settled. The bill came out much less than $700 and i didn't owe them for any out of pocket expenses. Also the hole in my tooth wasn't filled properly. I had to go to another dental office to have the procedure redone. I didn't mind the loud club music they were playing though it seemed unprofessional for medical care. I could handle the poor attitude of the staff but, I can't compromise on getting quality dental care. I learned this is not the place for it.

Having a small, sensitive mouth, I really appreciated that getting a cleaning from them wasn't painful like other dentists I've been to. So, why 3 stars?? The reason I'm no longer a patient is due solely to their front desk/billing person, Kim. The first time she screwed up my billing, I assumed it was an honest mistake. I paid in office, then received a bill a month later, my partner had a cleaning that week so he tried to pay it while he was there and told there was no outstanding balance, but then we received another bill the following month. Oh, and you can't pay it online. Then I needed some work done, and it had to be appealed with my insurance. No problem, right? Wrong! First Kim needed ME to find the correct billing code for her, then I had to give her the appeal form Twice. The insurance told me they were sending the check to them, and I told her to let me know if they didn't get it. She let me know, not with a call or email, nope, with a late bill THREE months later! I called her again and asked her to put the bill on hold while I spoke to the insurance, which she agreed to, and a WEEK later when I went in for my cleaning she yelled at me across the lobby (in front of other patients) that she needed payment today and demanded I call my insurance in front of her if I wasn't going to pay her. Then, she came in during my cleaning to further discuss my bill. My hygienist let the dentist know how upset I was and he must have spoke with her, because she did apologize...by saying that she was "sorry but just doing her job" and that she "was doing me a favor to file it with my insurance." During the pandemic, I received 2 bills from them. Given that we've been advised dentists were only open for emergencies and they don't have a way to pay online, we assumed they were closed. Nope, had to go in and pay in person (or send a check...who has checks or can pay with their FSA/HSA with a check??), because I just wanted to be done with her. Given that she's been there 14 years I don't see her going anywhere anytime soon, but I won't be back.
