My technician arrived right on time and his name was Ethan Chenault. Ethan was first class all the way. He performed a 29-point inspection of my entire garage door system and shared with me in great detail all the components and their function. Ethan then worked up a quote and I agreed on the spot to have the work performed that same day. I ended up getting an all-new motor, brackets, springs, keypads, rollers, etc. When I tell you I could not be happier it's the God's honest truth. In a post COVID world having a TRUE PROFESSIONAL in 2024 is like a breath of fresh air. A1 Door charges a high premium and in my opinion it's worth every penny. The icing on the cake was when my wife came home and was more fascinated by the new door than I was. She found it remarkable that the same door and rail system could magically become so QUIET. The service technicians Tim and Zack arrived in a prompt manner and were very pleasant and courteous. They quickly diagnosed the problem and offered me the best, most affordable solution to the problem. They then completed the job in a timely manner. He then even agreed that I should've got a quote first, and even told me I should've refused paying and called him directly ( impossible to get a hold of anybody at that company as they use a third-party ). I requested half of a refund which I thought was generous. He strung me along for a month and I could never get in touch with him. I had to even fake a tech call from my wife's phone number to actually get a call from him. In the end, he blamed the company owner on not giving me any sort of refund. Absolutely horrible service and borderline illegal. I've submitted a formal complaint to the Better Business Bureau of Virginia to have them handle it.
