They're bullies. They're also inconsistent. There are people who park in my development without a permit--they are NEVER towed. They WILL slap an ugly orange sticker on your car and give you 48 hrs to become a millionaire to fix every problem they see otherwise they will tow you. Just awful. I have tried talking with them but they are rude, disrespectful, intractable, and seem to love causing strife. I wish my development would choose a different company. This place loves to make quick money and doesn't care or want to hear anything you say. They towed my car twice when I had my PARKING PASS VISIBLE on my dashboard lol they still charged me half the price and their reason was " the parking permit needs to be hung on the mirror not on the dashboard." I also stopped the guy mid tow saying my pass is in my car and he said where and I went to get my keys inside my garage to unlock my car and as I come out he is taking off with my car. read more

Towed Faulty Meter parked in this lot on 4/27 at 8:30 AM to go shopping. I parked in a spot that clearly stated "2 hours free parking" as long as you press the meter button. I come here often, so I know that's how it normally works. But this time, when I pressed the meter, it only gave me 48 minutes instead of the full 2 hours. I assumed the meter was malfunctioning and figured the towing company would know that, so I went on my way. When I returned, my car had been towed. I contacted Dominion Towing, which is about a 12-minute walk from Avenir Retail where the Dunn Loring Harris Teeter is located in Vienna. The woman at the office wouldn't even let me explain. I told her I had video evidence showing the meter didn't reset properly, but she just said, "There's nothing I can do, your meter expired." So they refused to review any evidence and still charged me $200 to release my car. To make matters worse, my vehicle is all-wheel drive and should be towed on a flatbed--which they didn't do. Faulty meter and refused to look, they are predator and scam Essentially, I have no way to contest this charge and want to warn others: this parking setup is misleading. They advertise 2 hours of free parking, but the meters don't always give that time. It seems like a setup to catch people off guard and tow their cars unfairly. Please be careful. Attached the video to show you that when I got there with the time stamp 8:41 AM, I was there for my Orange Theory Class at 8:45 AM ET. Also, the attached video shows how the meter is supposed to reset--if it works. The meter that I was using now can't be reset. While watching a truck get towed from my neighborhood the driver of this truck opened vehicle and begun to search inside as if he was looking for something to steal for what seemed more than 2-3 minutes. After my visitor being towed last month I was told by this company and my proper management to provide my parking pass to my visitor and as long as I was parked in MY reserved space I would not be towed because my vehicle is on record for my property. They did not honor this and my car was towed from my reserved space. I've called and they informed me that I must pay the 300 dollar fee and if I have issues I can contact management after the weekend however I will not be reimbursed. If I wait till management is back in after the weekend the fee will go up. This is ridiculous cuídate your protocols. IF MY CAR IS ON FILE AND IN ITS RESERVED SPACE I PAY EXTRA FOR IT SHOULD NOT BE TOWED! I attended a HOA meeting , my car was towed by Dominion towing before 8 pm. The HOA policy is the Dominion towing should not tow cars before middle night. Dominion towing is a bad company which is hungry of money, they tried their ways to take people's cars away so they could make $180 out of each car 's towing . They said my car took 2 parking spaces, which was not true, the fact was my car did not take 2 parking spaces. According to the photo that Dominion gave to me, my car front bumper was less than 4 inches riding on the marked parking line. And there were 2 empty parking spaces on both sides of my car at that time = before 8 pm. I had very bad cat bite injuries on my foot and the infection made me very hard to use my foot, I sent Dominion towing the photos of my injured foot. All they could reply me was " We are sorry about your injury ". The Dominion towing cared most is the money they could make by taking people 's cars away so they could make more money. Hostile towards active duty service members. My vehicle and home address are registered in PA. Per PA law since I am active duty stationed outside of PA I only need my vehicle inspected once every two years. My apartment complex requested I be placed on a permanent do no tow list to suit my needs as active duty service. Per my apartment complex, this group adamantly refused essentially stating that I can "figure it out". I do not recommend this company for any apartment complex, housing complex, etc. who wishes to attract active duty military service members due to their hostility. read more

Seeing my brother off before his flight, they tow my car while it's parked in the visitor's space, which belongs to my brother. I've seen this so often in low income communities. Dominion towed my car from my apartment complex on 6/23 due to my inspection and tags being expired as of 5/31. I accept responsibility for that, I completely forgot about having to renew both of those. I'm a delivery driver and a single mom and my mind sometimes forgets things. I paid the $160 to get my car back on the same day. However I did not make enough money for the inspection and tags until after I did a few deliveries that night. I called Dominion and explained my situation, literally in tears and pleading with them not to tow my car again tonight because I wasn't able To get everything taken care of until the shop opened up at 8am on 7/24. I explained that I was a single parent and I did not want to have my kids sleep in the car for fear of it being towed again. Dominion told me to risk parking on the street and get a parking ticket or park in my apartment complex (where I pay my rent on time every month) and risk being towed again with no hesitation. As I tried to plead my case citing both my spinal and hip injuries as others painful issues for sleeping in my vehicle I heard " okay okay okay" and then the dial tone. Dominion hung up in my face. Currently it is 3:13am and my babies are sound asleep in my backseat ( I told them this was a camping adventure and they went for it) and I'm super exhausted and trying to stretch my inner thigh muscles before they seize up on me. (Sciatic Nerve Pain). I just want to take a hot shower and take a a few hours nap before the day begins again today, but I can't afford a ticket or another tow. I had the pleasure of meeting the gentleman representing this company, as he was about to tow my car from my HOA community parking lot. He went out of his way convincing me that I was wrong to be upset about him extorting $50 to not steal my car. "I've been doing this for a very long time", the gentleman insisted - "I know what I'm doing. I am right and you're wrong." The fine gentleman was visibly offended when I called him out on their predatory towing, and pretty much went on to say that they're doing God's work. He even wished me a good evening (after taking the insignificant $50). Our HOA president, Raquel, is friends with this towing company, so it's no surprise that the rules are favoring the towing company, and not the homeowners. To Ashley: Your business has a 1.5 star rating, with almost every review describing it as a predatory towing company - you're in denial. The FAQ has someone ask "What if my parking brake was on?" and their answer is "We are equipped with all the latest, modern tools of the trade to safely tow your vehicle." That is B.S. because I have a manual vehicle that was in gear with the parking brake on since that is how you put it in "park". They tow just like anyone else by lifting 2 wheels and dragging it. They lifted the front wheels thankfully so my transmission is okay but my parking brakes are no longer working since they dragged it with it on. Problem #2: This organization towed my vehicle at 4AM on a Friday. Obviously at 4AM there isn't much light out so my parking pass was not "clearly visible" according to them. The problem is the adhesive comes off sometimes which is not their fault so it was not "in the corner where it should be". I saw the photo they took and you can clearly see where the sticker fell to because I use a sun visor so it was caught there. If someone with half a brain were to even look closely they would see that it is a parking sticker. Problem #3: Their billing statements are a joke. Tow fee, sure. Days in storage fee makes sense. Weekend fee to pick up the vehicle sure. But an after hours fee at 2PM. Their actual hours must be only at night so that they can be paid hourly while hunting for vehicles that they won't actually completely look at to tow. Even though it claims "24 hours open" what a joke. Ultimately, stay away from this organization and their shoddy business work. read more

They have predatory practices. I was parked for not even five minutes and was towed. I honestly thought my car had been stolen, and called the police, because it didn't seem possible it could have been towed so quickly. The officer ended up telling me tow companies are required to notify them, and Dominion had not. They were in such a rush to take my car, they forgot to follow the legal procedure. They had my car for 15 minutes, charged me $175, and forced me to pay cash. Although, after reading other reviews about credit card fraud, perhaps the cash demand was a blessing in disguise. Then when you know they are a paramedic and was on duty.... you still charge them $160. Parked in an unmarked spot because ALL of the Fire Dept spots were currently being used and this paramedic had to get upstairs to relieve her coworkers. Then had several calls before she could get back downstairs to move her vehicle after a spot opened up. Shame on you. I hope that $160 is worth it. Well the "private property" is also our garage. Terrible towing company. I complained to my HOA who refused to use ones with higher BBB ratings and less county complaints. Dominion Towing wakes me up dragging cars by their drive wheels out of spots instead of using the tow dolly to avoid damage. They showed my HOA committee a video of how a car should be towed lifting the drive wheels off the pavement, moving it out of the spot, and then repositioning the tow truck to tow by the drive wheels. However, this isn't how they tow. Every time I hear them dragging cars I grab for my phone to video it but it's always low light or too late. Please someone, try to get video of how they tow. Despite being a county ordinance to take "pre tow photos to establish the vehicle condition" they rely on the video camera in the truck which can't show if they drag your front bumper or makes contact with a car when towing. When they towed my daughter's car, they posted a sign on the right side of the road where she didn't see it. For that tow because they knew it was questionable, they did take proper pictures. However, when I see them tow at night, I never see them taking those pictures. read more

These folks were GREAT! Not sure why so many people want to bash these types of companies. They did not park your car. The truth is... if parking enforcement companies did not exist every parking lot would be a mess. Think about it... If it was okay to park wherever you wanted whenever you wanted... then everybody else would too and that would lead to chaos. If you cant follow directions when driving your car it is likely the police will issue you a ticket. If you cant follow the directions at your place of employment you are likely to get written up. If you cant follow the direction of the 10 commandments you may end up in hell. If you cant follow the directions of your home owners association it is likely you will receive a nasty gram email and then a fine of some kind. If you cant brush and floss everyday it is likely you will get a cavity. If you cant follow the guidelines for parking your car it is likely that it will be removed . It's quite simple people.... if you cant park correctly... take it on the chin, pay the impound fees, learn from your mistakes and move on with your life. No need to give these people a hard time. My experience with the folks at Dominion Towing was nothing but kind, understanding and polite. I was wrong and they did what they were hired to do. No, I did not like parting with my $100+ and getting a ride to their location but hey man... that's how it goes. Kelly was extremely kind and took care of me quickly. I was in and out. There was a man sitting right next to her and I believe his name was Shane. He was happy to assist in jump starting my car as Kelly was in making sure I understood the policy in which I violated. They were called to tow cars out of a parking lot that was full of cars on a Sunday night for a religious holiday that is the equivalent of Christmas. Fine. Whatever. However, they didn't tow cars in front of the shops that were there for hours. They waited around on the side of the parking lot, far away from shops and completely out of the way. They towed my car, parked there for less that 15 minutes. I had ordered a pizza from the pizza hut in that plaza that I was going to pick up after a 15 minute detour to the temple, but they had no way of knowing that, didn't want to acknowledge that they were in the wrong and charged me $185. Again, didn't tow the cars in front of the businesses the cars were supposedly hindering. Also they said they would text me pictures of the tow. Still waiting, two days later. They know they were in the wrong and won't acknowledge it. Horrible people called by horrible people, and I wish this company nothing but the worst. Replied to my review on Google by blaming me for parking where I'd ordered the pizza because the owner has been to the parking lot before and that plaza needs every parking spot at 7:30 PM on a Saturday night. Dominion Towing SUCKS! I see them prowling around the apartment community where I live as soon as the sun goes down to tow vehicles. Vehicles that are not supposed to be there are towed appropriately. However, I've seen them tow (and been the victim of a tow) because allegedly the driver didn't see my parking permit in my windshield--now I have it taped to the windshield like several other tenants. I think they are towing parasites and even towed a friend of mine who was parked outside my apartment community in a visitor parking spot. Dominion is full of parasites. I pay for my car, they open the gate I walk around looking for my car and it isn't there. I walk back to the man and he says my car is in merrifields location. Seriously?! Why didn't you tell me that before I drove all the way there. His reply... You didn't ask. Really? So now I drive all the way to Merrifields to get my car. Making me an hour late to work when I wouldn't have been more than 15 min late if they would've told me where my car was from the beginning. So thank you for being worthless and scummy beings.
