During the visit, an emergency situation arose, and I was quickly discharged without any aftercare instructions or documentation. While I completely understand that emergencies take priority, I expected follow-up communication as promised. The next morning, having received no call and seeing no updates to my records, I contacted the office. I was told a provider would call me within two hours. Four hours later, after hearing nothing, I called again and was told I would receive a call at 4:00 PM when the provider arrived. Again, no call came. At 5:04 PM--approximately 19 hours after my appointment--I finally received the radiology report confirming a fracture. By that point, I had already been on hold for 20 minutes trying to get answers. When I finally reached someone, I was told the provider was too busy and would call me back. I refused the call back and told them I wasn't going off hold till I spoke to someone. I was on hold for nearly an hour. After which the doctor was shocked that I was sent home without the taping she told me he would get (I argued with the assistant that night and she told me it wasn't necessary), no follow up instructions, and no orthopedic referrals. She also told me that they should have never promised me a call back during the day since she wasn't there. I said, Well these are YOUR colleagues and I'm very unhappy with the services provided. I didn't get any visit summary/after care until 3 days after the visit. To top it off, the business leaves a bland, Thank you for your feedback comment on my Google review instead of actually reaching out to me as a client/patient. This was an absolutely awful patient experience from the x-rays forward.

From the doctor who pulled me out of the patient room to let me know my elderly father was dying and I needed to let the family members know, to last night when I overheard personnel making plans for staffing the ER during the pending winter storm -- including transportation issues and the possibility of staying overnight after their shift ended. Emergency facilities are not the place to expect the immediate attention of other customer service establishments -- that is not their purpose. Thank goodness they have their priorities straight.

She stated out loud every task she performed, as if anyone else cared. Then we were discussing my medications, and when I told her one tidbit, she made a disapproving snort, or huff. I was aghast. This is without a doubt, the best pediatrician group in the area. My children have gone here for good reason. Trust, solid guidance, and experience. You want the best for your children, and this practice is where that's the policy. The office staff is very friendly, and I'd like to thank the advice nurse for their helpful guidance, along with all associated with this group. I don't have any problems getting my son an appointment. They also have wanted to always put my child's best first, despite some outside parties being less than exemplary or mature in an adult sense. Yet sometimes one must deal with life as is, smile, laugh, and just do the best regardless to be a caring person and relatively responsible citizen. The doctors and nurses here care. My appreciation for their honesty, and also being approachable. Working with children professionally, some pediatrician offices are impersonal or not very connected. This one is and they can refer you to other exemplary folks as needed. I work everyday and the office is closed on the weekends so it was very hard for me to call off and come in for an appointment. She ended up hanging up in my face and I was very disgusted by this because I'm the one paying to be treated and I get treated awfully. Very disappointed by this situation and do not plan on coming back to this office. They need to take care of their patients way better!!
