This place is rediculous. First my husband always has trouble placing an order and Saturday June 13th it was even worse. When he went to pick it up they said their credit card machine wasn't working so he took off some of his order then he only had a $100 bill and they said they didn't have change for it which was $66. What could improve? Well, providing the service that's advertised during the hours of operation listed would be a big step in the right direction. Don't cancel an order because it's 11:30 pm and you don't feel like making it. If your hours of operation state that the store doesn't close until midnight, then make the freakin order. I mean, don't get me wrong, I could understand if the order was for 10 pizzas and a bunch of chicken wings, but it was for a pasta dish and an 8 piece wings. I've made the order in the past, it's literally at my doorstep less than 15 minutes later, so it's not difficult or time consuming. Well we were on the road all day from a Baja road trip. We were hoping to go to Bullhead City but we were too tired to drive 2 more hours in the dark. So, we pulled into Blythe and got a room. We've been eating seafood and tacos for 2 weeks so pizza sounded good. We didn't want to drive any further so this was an easy option. I opened their online order through Yelp, several clicks later and pizza was ordered and set to arrive in less than 30 minutes. The order portal offered texts for order updates. We were pleasantly impressed with how fast the pizza arrived. Dominoes may not be the worlds greatest pizza but it's reliable, consistent, and tastes just fine after a long drive. We ordered an extra large double pepperoni with onion, it was on their thin Brooklyn crust which was tasty and not overly doughy. All in all this was a good experience after a long day of driving. I don't know what the problem is with this location but it's just not that good. Food is either under or over-cooked and they are very skimpy with the toppings. Order a plain pepperoni pizza just the other day and it smelled like it was spoiled. Pretty sure the pepperoni were spoiled!! They were either old or left out to long at the restaurant. I was not even welcomed in this location. March 18, 2021 was my first visit. The menu wasn't clear, so I asked if my husband could help me order. The young man said yes. As my husband entered, another employee approached us and said he had to leave. I just needed a little help in ordering. I will never, I mean never enter this business again. They had no other customers in the building or waiting to order. The first employee says yes, the other one said no. Riverside County is now in the read tier, they were treating me like I had the plague. They could and should have been more accommodating. We left without ordering. Went here to order today at 1020, door was locked. Sign says on door it's open at 1030. Waited from 1020-1040. One employee was inside the whole time and one came in through front door at 1030, during which the employee inside had to come and unlock the door. I tried to walk in after, no acknowledgement of my presence or that I was waiting and just closed and locked door on me. I Stood outside for 10 minutes past opening time, never acknowledged me. We were driving through that area and decided to order pizza for the road. So we order pizza and mild wings. The pizza was over cooked and missing one of our topping when we started to eat we were already driving. Then the chicken was soggy they need a new style. This place was not very clean. Plus the kids or immature adults working there need to leave customer service and the way to talk. Specially this one guy his mouth showed how low his education level was. They said it was on the way, waited called again 30 mins later, again another 30 mins. By default, Dominoes gets 3 stars. The only competition Domino's has is Pizza Hut. Its news to me- Domino's no longer carries parmesian cheese and red pepper packets. They now offer small containers of them for a charge. Im not sure if this is franchise wide or just this Domino's. Other than that...it's your typical Domino's. read more
