Staff is courteous and quick. Food is fresh and tastes great! Clean inside and out. Doesn't disappoint!

This is a great place for authentic mexican food. Everything was delicious. A classic mexican taste that you don't find everywhere these days. Service was great and quick. Everyone was very nice. A great stop right before or after the border. Ambiance was great with humorous wall art. I'd definitely recommend and come back if in the area.

    Carne asada and fish tacos.
    Robin S.

    - carne asada taco: a fat taco but the meat was very dry and chewy. - fish taco: also fat and also not very good. The tortilla was hard on one end as if it had been sitting quite a while and the fish was mediocre. Didn't prefer the mayo that was slathered on. Service was perfunctory to the point of rudeness. This place has a ton of reviews and has a high rating. But I'm not a fan.

Food is amazing. Period. This is going to be a go to, must stop at, on the way from here to there AND back! You will not regret it. I can't even believe Taco Bell can exist with this place across the street. Seriously.

    Cabeza mini tacos Fish taco

Fantastic lunch spot during our road trip from LA to Sedona. The mini Cabeza tacos were JUICY and TENDER, and the green sauce is crazy. The fish taco comes with tartar sauce too which adds ZEST and refreshing FLAVAAAA - it's also huge and loaded. Chips and salsa are a classic shareable dish. Torta comes with shredded beef & eggs - lowkey tasted like a loaded breakfast sandwich which we loved and wasn't too overbearing or heavy - perfect for lunch. For drinks , we mixed pineapple & mango agua fresca - a tad tooooo sugary but worth in the heat!

    Burritos

Football sized burritos In the Phoenix area we have Fillabertos, Alibertos, Rolbertos, etc. on a road trip we found Abertacos and thought the name was even funnier than the other ones. Glad we came here because it was definitely good competition for the Phoenix burrito places. The burrito was one of the biggest I'd ever had, and the quality and taste was amazing. I'd definitely go back for more if I'm ever out on that stretch of the highway

Wanted some queso and chips .... Expensive and the cheese dip was downright watery and thin .

Here, I ate the best tacos of my life--and I was born and raised in the El Paso, Texas borderland. The salsa is incredible too.

Not many options around, and this is probably better than the alternatives. But it was just fine.

Absolute dog food. Typical for Blythe. This is the kind of food that is so gross you throw out the leftovers.

Hands down these are the best hard shell tacos in Blythe. The California burrito is also really good. Never had anything bad here.

Everything was tasty but I would make a few recommendations:…read more One is change the fake butter flavored spread or whatever it is that is used on the texas toast/sandwich bread - it cheapens the quality of your "homemade" food. Second, check the salad mix for rusty/brown/wilted bits - it totally killed the excitement I had to find your ranch dressing is yummy (i.e. not that cheap weird tangy crap many restaurants use) and my salad had ham bits but then it had like a 1/3 bad lettuce that I had to remove. Lasty, even though it's the end of the day and I know you are tired - front of the house customer service is equally as important to me as the quality of the food. It's imperative to be pleasant always and not make the customer feel like they are putting you out or burdening you - smile more at the very least - make me feel welcomed and want to back. Okay, sorry... one more - no one wants tomato slices as their only side veggie option - they were mealy, went straight in the trash, and that's just wasteful for your pocket and mine. There is no shortage of mixed veggies (frozen or canned) and I would be more than satisfied to have that as an option with real butter applied. That's just MHO - maybe the town likes tom slices and I'm way off... idk - I just didn't get it and I'm not a fan of that veggie option. Now the goods - prime rib was very flavorful (not quite med-rare as requested but the flavor made up for it), fish n chicken tenders was a good portion (though I don't think I was supposed to get 2 fish/2 chicken filets - it was still yummy along with the tarter sauce, and the salad with ham bits made me very happy... plus the ranch was quality (tasted like the good Ole hidden valley ranch dip packet w/sour cream which far exceeds that other bottled junk including the bottled version of its own, lol). Ambiance was fine for a diner but could benefit from a sprucing up to more match the feel of the outside of the building. A spring cleaning and a fresh slap of white paint to pick everything up inside. I like the little "gift shop" in the middle giving more privacy between tables. Overall, Steaks n Cakes is a much appreciated option in Blythe where a lot of quality dining options are lacking. Thanks y'all!

I wanted to love this place so bad!…read more My hash browns were drenched in oil. I asked for an over medium egg.. it was only cooked on 1 side so the white was still uncooked, bacon was all fat. The only thing good about my meal was the pancake The guy who sat us was very polite and friendly The restaurant it's self, very small, gives small hometown vibes (think Sweet home Alabama) Total was $60.. only ate have a pancake
