Although the serving size on some of their food items has decreased they still are nice size Burritos and Tacos. Quality is still #1 for Mexican Fast Food in Blythe. Fantastic lunch spot during our road trip from LA to Sedona. The mini Cabeza tacos were JUICY and TENDER, and the green sauce is crazy. The fish taco comes with tartar sauce too which adds ZEST and refreshing FLAVAAAA - it's also huge and loaded. Chips and salsa are a classic shareable dish. Torta comes with shredded beef & eggs - lowkey tasted like a loaded breakfast sandwich which we loved and wasn't too overbearing or heavy - perfect for lunch. Excellent service, custom burrito for $10.33. Great value for the money. Use an excellent quality wrap for the burritos. Open early in the day. I got my custom burrito at 8:30 AM and it was a perfect breakfast with fresh pico de gallo on the side! The reason I went there was because I drove through McDonald's and they wanted $9.35 for nothing but a sausage and egg biscuit. I said forget it! I'll find someplace better, and I definitely did! Football sized burritos In the Phoenix area we have Fillabertos, Alibertos, Rolbertos, etc. on a road trip we found Abertacos and thought the name was even funnier than the other ones. Glad we came here because it was definitely good competition for the Phoenix burrito places. The burrito was one of the biggest I'd ever had, and the quality and taste was amazing. I've given it a few chances but the meat always tastes slightly rotten and on one occasion one of the female workers preferred helping darker skin toned males before helping next in line. When one of those males questioned her on it she replied with "it's fine" to which I responded with taking my business elsewhere. read more

My husband ordered a sausage, potato, egg and cheese burrito. I ordered a carne asada and egg burrito and we shared a huge bowl of menudo. The serving sizes are enormous. Food was mixed. I ordered my burrito with very light cheese and it was overflowing with cheese. My husband's order came correct. However the tortillas were over cooked and tasted old and stale. I'm a white woman without a drop of Latino blood and my homemade tortillas are soooo much better. The menudo broth was delicious but very spicy hot. And we both feel that the large pieces of tripe was off putting, with too much fat. Tripe should be sliced thinly with small chop. Again, the broth was delicious, albeit spicy. The drinks were horrid. The water they mix the drinks with had a horrible taste. It's obvious they need a water filtration system. They did not have fresh brewed coffee. The only offering was instant taster's choice. With a price tag of $43 for breakfast, I expected better quality food and drink. Delicious food and outrageously large portions! The Carnitas quesadilla was about 14 inches across and must have weighed well over a pound. Most places are very skimpy with their guacamole, but there was a ton of guacamole along with sour cream and cheese on top of my rolled tacos/taquitos. Ok, first let me start off with this qualifier: we came in on Christmas Eve at about 1pm. There didnt seem to be much action in Blythe besides this place and the Taco Bell across the street, but after my experience today, I would have rather gone there. To start off, the dude at the counter was obviously busy and rushing around (maybe short staffed, I dunno), but he ignored everyone except when he deemed them of importance. He was rude and impatient for us to make our order, which should have been my queue to leave, but I persisted. When we got our food (2 carne asada taco plates and 1 Chicken Flying Saucer), it initially looked good. Mama even complemented on the Flying Saucer saying she wanted to share. The sentiment didnt last long. The chicken lacked any semblance of flavor and the beans were bland. The carne asada was near inedible, it almost tasted like it was fried in week old oil or something. Even the piña augas frescas was gross, tasted like the plastic machine. Needless to say no one finished their meal and we didnt bother to take it with us. The exterior and interior of this place is a microcosm of Blythe itself: once full of promise, but now a drab reminder that you would rather be literally anywhere else. read more

Quick Mexican food stop in Blythe. Stopped here on the way to Sedona from LA for lunch, and it was a cheap option where you can get generous portions of food. Credit cards accepted. Two single occupant restrooms are available. Indoor dining only. You order first and then receive a number. The adobada tacos were the size of my hand with a ton of meat. The carnitas burrito is a good size for splitting as well, and the carnitas meat was a tad dry, but still good. Finally, the carne asada nachos were good for 3-4 people to split. We had a first world problem where we had almost too much meat in comparison to the chips. We asked for no sour cream and there's about two scoops of guac that came with our order. If you check in on Yelp, note that you could get a free drink. They have Coke products and the soda fountain is located on the right hand side of the counter. Masks are required but it didn't seem to be enforced. read more

This is definitely an old big corporate restaurant that went under and Albert took over. When we arrived late in Blythe we were looking around for some good food from a non big corporate restaurant and located this place. I ordered "rolled tacos" after reading previous reviews. I was disappointed with them. They were tough and flavorless. They were not crispy at all. Plus they did not put the sour cream on them. They must have changed them the time of other reviews. My husband's California burrito was good. Full of flavor and had all included ingredients listed. Plus is was a large portion. Out of the 3 salsa we tried the green one is the most flavorful. The medium one taste like garlic. They use the restroom for extra storage for tables. They were out of TP but luckily I carry my own wipes. Overall prices are fair. Would we go back, probably but I won't get rolled tacos again. read more
