1 star. Avoid this Fatburger location at the Ehrenberg Travel Center. The menu clearly shows X-Large wings (24) for $28.99, yet the register charged about $33. When I pointed out the obvious discrepancy, the manager could not even calculate or explain the difference and kept insisting the higher price was "correct." Instead of addressing the menu vs. register mismatch, the manager became defensive and raised her voice in front of customers standing behind me. She loudly said she would refund the whole order -- but when the refund went through, only the burger was refunded. This felt like blatant gaslighting. The price posted on the menu and the price charged in the register clearly do not match, and instead of acknowledging the issue, the manager tried to shut down the conversation and make it seem like the customer was wrong. Between the inaccurate pricing and the manager's extremely unprofessional behavior, this was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. Management seriously needs to address the pricing discrepancy and train their staff on how to treat customers. And food sucks!! read more

Working fast food is a tough job. I want to be compassionate. But the guy taking my order today wasn't at all "with it." Three times I had to ask for a turkey burger with no pickles or onions and a chocolate shake. Three times it showed up on the electronic screen to pay. Three times my request was shown incorrectly. (Not my problem, as I speak clearly and loudly; I'm a former radio announcer!) So, finally, the order is corrected and the printed receipt shows exactly what I wanted. What did I get? This is kind of a weird review because Fatburger isn't five star cuisine, but in the context of road trips it absolutely is! Gas station is plentiful with a great selection of shopping + clean bathrooms, and definitely comfortable enough to stop here for a meal. Heck I saw some people walking their dogs waiting for their meal ticket in the nice grass patch out back. As for the food? You're hitting the major points. Decent burger and some crinkle cut fries is a solid pit stop meal. And if you hate that kind of stuff or don't like meat, there's a Wetzel's Pretzels next door too. Located in the AZ Travel Plaza/76 Gas Station. We stopped here to eat lunch during a drive back to Arizona from California. While this is our go-to gas station for gas and a restroom break, this was our first time eating a Fat Burger. Food took longer than expected for fast food. Their main items are the burgers. There is an option to order a bun-less burger. Unlike many places that wrap the patty in lettuce, at Fat Burger, the produce is between two burger patties. It is quite messy to eat. Burger patties were greasy on the outside, yet the meat was dry. Fat fries were enjoyable. Fat fries is just another name for steak fries. The fries were soft on the inside with a bit of crisp at the ends. I would order the fries again. There is also the option of various Buffalo wings. Seating is along the side. There are also tables outside. Outside seating area is easily accessed from the restaurant indoor seating area. At mid day, the building helps shade the outside tables. read more

There's 3 people working. not enough. the weight is long. most importantly, not enough people to make the food. I went light. so I order a 6 pcs of wings and sweet potato fries. the wings and frys are over fried. Not enough people watching each station. Fatburger, you need to change the oils. Food: Wow you can get a 1/3lb to 1 1/2lb burger here that tastes great! Patties cooked flavorful, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and onions. Made to order (extra mustard, tomato, etc.) and fairly fast. The fries are either fat or skinny like McDonalds. Onion rings are cooked right. Crispy without over abundance of batter. Didn't try the veggie or turkey burger so no comment there. Still, everything else was so dang good I'm no doubt those will be good too. Customer Service: Polite, fast and friendly. This place gets flocked with orders so be nice and know what you want before stepping up. There's inside seating but it can be limited depending on amount to traffic but outdoor seating is nice too. Cleanliness: One of the cleanest truck gas stops I've been to, bathrooms, tables, condiments, etc. All good. Atmosphere: it's a step up in the truck stop arena.
