My boyfriend placed an order about 30 minutes before closing, which included a salad. Upon arrival, he was informed that the salad was unavailable. When he inquired why he wasn't contacted beforehand, the staff member mentioned that since the order hadn't been paid for, they hadn't called. From a customer service perspective, it would be greatly appreciated if your team could implement a policy to proactively notify customers about unavailable items, regardless of whether the order has been pre-paid, especially when an order is placed close to closing time. This would help prevent unnecessary trips and improve the overall customer experience. I was on my way and thought it was strange I did not get any alert, I called and the young gentleman who was working that night told me he can fix it and make my order at that moment as long as I was able to wait. Last nights delivery order was over an hr late and cold. The delivery person knew it and made a face as he took it out of his bag, felt the box was cold and started telling me how they were short staffed, it was some sort of special TV night so had lots of orders. I realize not the delivery guys fault, but I don't want excuses when my $30+ order felt unsafe to eat. The app is all set up to offer 20% off next order or a 2 topping smaller pizza free ..big deal! I'm still out my money And dinner was lost. This is a consistent problem the last few years. No improvement. Terrible service and terrible way to "repay", I should have had a complete refund! Made an order for a pizza. Order was incorrect and they added the garlic seasoning to the crust when asked not to. Went to pay for the delivery on the app and added a 20% tip. Was given a price of around $50 for the order. One pizza, one drink, three dipping sauces. When the order was placed, the tip didn't register. The driver came to my door and dropped the pizza which was also raw and doughy in the middle and left a little note on my receipt. When I went to meet him to give home the tip he ran off back to the restaurant faster than I could catch him. I called the restaurant and they hung up on me. Mind you this was still during business hours. I ended up driving to the restaurant and gave him twice the tip I originally intended and spoke with him about how not to act when working in customer service. I asked the employee who came up to me at the store and asked if I could leave a tip for the driver who made the delivery and the employee said the driver went home already. I looked at my front door camera footage and saw that it was indeed him who made the delivery himself. I showed him the footage and he said it was him. He lied to me! Dominos fix your app, don't charge egregious prices for small amounts of food, and don't let your drivers/employees act like this when it's not the customers fault your software doesn't work. The manager told me that their system was running slow and they did not have my order. She eventually found my order, took another half an hour to make my pizza. Absolutely unacceptable not even an apology. How can you be a manager and have zero customer service skills. Poor management!! We placed an ordered and didn't receive it until over 1.5 hours later. I called and spoke to the manager before the pizza arrived because the tracker said it was delivered and it hadn't been. The manager stated that the driver had another delivery before me and the tracker is never accurate. She was childish and giggled at the fact that our food was not on time. After a long time from that conversation, I called back and the manager agreed to refund me for the order. It has been over a week from the incident and still, no refund. They always blame it on the volume of orders. I ordered a pizza at 3:35pm for the little ones. An hour later....still no pizza. I called. I went online and ordered 2 large pizzas from the Lake Elsinore location. I live right next to Canyon Lake and it sent me to Lake Elsinore about 10 miles away. I'm new to the area so I assumed it was the closest location to me. Well it wasn't after waiting 1 hour I called and realized I was in the wrong location. I must have called for 30m straight to the other location and they would pick up and hang up on me. They had already charged me so I had to get ahold of them. The man who I assumed was the manager was so nice I ended up just ordering from them. They where done in 10m and tasted great! I will never go to Lake Elsinore! I was very disappointed that my pizza order yesterday for my grandkids which totaled over $91.00 plus tip was taken from my credit card. My order was delivered to someone else and I received an order that wasn't near what I had ordered . I called to let the store know I did not receive the correct order I was told my account would be reimbursed by midnight that evening.
