Placed an online delivery order, it was received in their system and checked periodically for updates in my order. Still waited TWO & HALF HOURS for a simple pizza, wings, and a drink. Called the restaurant, worker stated "they are waiting for a driver..." and then order updates to food being placed in the oven after ending our phone call... Fisher delivered Dominos to my granddaughters hospital room today. She was admitted with RSV almost a week ago, and it's been a tough time. We live off island and wanted to treat my daughter to something different than hospital food. I told Fisher it would be ok just to leave at the front desk, but he made the extra effort to bring it to the hospital room! Put a smile on their faces and I am warmed by the Aloha spirit. This is my choice when I am tired and don't want to cook. I have tried many variations of pizza and it just depends on my mood as to my choice of the day. Service is always iffy as it depends on the person and how their day has been going. The food court experience has a lot to be desired as it is way too noisy but it is enjoyable to engage with others and see friendly people. read more

I finally decided to come to the dominoes on this side of the island and I was very very surprised and pleased. I will probably never go back to the Kona side Domino's Pizza as this was a great experience and the pizza was like no other. As you can tell by the picture they put a lot of love into the pizza lot of toppings great amount of cheese sauce amazing flavor and taste. Give this dominoes a try even if it means taking his back to Kona side he will not be disappointed. Waited 2 hours for my order and when calling spoke to David and he hung up on me then called again and he was short answer with me and hung up again for the second time when I had questions about my order. Third time I call and I am just furious, asked why I haven't received my order that I was told would only be 10-15 minutes, he begins with a rude attitude asking for the order information and then once confirmed he says he exactly this "Oh we will have your order remade and sent out as soon as we can" I did not at all get an apology nor them taking responsibility for their mess up. I proceeded to say to cancel my order, he was talking to another worker in the back asking if I can cancel, I told him I want to cancel my order that I have been waiting very long for. Once he said okay to cancel I asked to make sure I'd be getting my refund, with an attitude he asks a worker in the back "will she get refunded?" I got the cocky response of yeah. He says 3-5 business days, I told him if I don't see the refund I'll call them back and he said okay fine. Putting Mr Pizza Boxer on BLAST tonight... Domino's Waimea has slipped in quality recently and this is a perfect representation of the attitudes in the work place today. Pizza night is usually a special night for our kids. As the guy before me picks up his pizza he says something about "your boy needs to be shown how to wear a mask" then gets his food and walks off. I finish my transaction at the counter and I look up and see MR PIZZA BOXER with his MASK AROUND HIS CHIN; mouth and nose fully exposed... WHISTLING!!!! The guy taking nice hot pizza from the oven and into boxes is unmasked and whistling. I tell the cashier girl that's not cool and she apologized but that was that. I asked to speak to the manager and she said something to the pizza boxer, he looked up at me, I shouted out "you need to wear you mask correctly and have respect for your customers." It got silent, I went out into the food court and waited for my food. Pizza boxer guy is the manger? WHAT!?!?! This isn't a joke, people are LITERALLY DYING out there from this covid-19 thing, and he can't wear a mask at work while handling FOOD. Who even knows how long he didn't have the mask on, how many pizzas did he breath all over with his whistling whistles breath, how dirty or clean is this guy...? YUK! I will not name any names nor will I give a description of aforementioned employee ; he knows who he is and I called him on his poor service. He needs to understand that people spend their hard earned money to keep the money circulating at this establishment. Not everyone is blessed with an AC unit work environment and the stress toll after a long day of physical labour in the elements will take its toll on a loyal customer who simply is looking to have service that is conducive to the hard earned money in which he spends to keep the establishment running and fully functional I was ALWAYS taught that you earn your keep EVERYDAY and when loyalty becomes a commodity ; service begins to falter and one star reviews become common place. I regret adding a 20% tip to our $90+ order. It was fine that our order took one hour to complete. It was fine that although we tipped 20% for our order to be brought to our car, we still had to walk in because our order took a long time to complete. It was fine that they forgot our sauce. I wanted to write a review after all these years because I don't think there's a better pizza place on this side of the island. (Trust me we've tried all of them.) Dominos pizza is always good and fresh as we all know but the EMPLOYEES here are awesome. They hire the friendliest people-- seriously they are always going out of their way to make sure we feel welcomed and comfortable. They even have gluten free pizzas and don't judge and act like you're "one of THOSE stupid people" when you ask them for one. (Like the guys down the street do) Nope, they make you feel normal. They're the only delivery here in Waimea and probably don't have to be so on point, but they are. They're always going above and beyond. At 6:24pm I called the store because it still hadn't arrived. They told me they only had one driver and they just left the store and that my order should be at my house in a few minutes. Dropped rating because I just paid $60 to have every single thing they delivered wrong!!! I ordered chicken Alfredo garlic mushroom pasta in a dish, they brought me mushroom garlic basil pasta in a bread bowl. The crust was wrong on both the pizzas I ordered, AND I ordered hot wings, the ones they delivered were the sweet ones. Major fail, whoever you are who is in the kitchen tonight. Staff always pleasant when I call to complain about my screwed up order. 18 out of 20+ times I've ordered from this particular location my pizza & bread bowl is ALWAYS EXTREMELY dry. Like if I wanted to eat dry food I wouldn't pay a delivery charge for something that's completely unacceptable. The quality of food I have received tonight in particular was horrid. Dry hard ass noodles with dry ass bread absolutely NO SAUCE in my bread bowl. When calling the store to bring my dry delivery to their attention I was told by the manager for this evening that the "owner" informed them to "cut back" due to a shortage. WOW. So basically short the customer on the product they pay full price for instead of remove the item temporarily to ensure quality and expectations of customers could be made. This basically degrades the company and diminishes their reputation. I think a pizza competitor should replace dominoes in Kamuela. Maybe the quality of the product and the brand name would be better suited for the expectations of this community. read more
