The cheese had a milky taste and creamy and stringy texture. The sausage had a mild or maybe somewhat spicy flavor. The pepperoni had a somewhat spicy flavor and crisp to it. The juices from the pepperoni stayed on the pie and did NOT soak the box or make the crust soggy. The crust was evenly cooked and had a light brown undercarriage. It didn't flop. The thickness of the crust is not as thick as what I typically find from pizza places in the area. The dough was chewy. The red sauce seemed to be lacking something. The amount of sauce seemed good but the flavor seemed lacking. Put it all together (crust, cheese, toppings, sauce) I think it was okay. I didn't experience a wow factor. Compared to the price of other pizza places in the area, I think the price is comparable.

It has been a few years since I've had Jimmy John's from any location so I decided to pop in. The seating and decor seemed well maintained, clean, and upkept. The strawberry lemonade was amazing!!! Confirmed Order, Locked Doors, and an Aggressive Response…read more On Thursday evening July 23, 2026 around 9:45 p.m., I placed an online order with Marco's Pizza on Wales Avenue. I received confirmation that the order had been accepted and was told it would be ready at approximately 10:10 p.m. I arrived around the scheduled pickup time. The lights were off, but I could see three employees inside cleaning. Since I had a confirmed order, I knocked on the door. A male employee opened the door aggressively and snarled, "We are closed." I explained that I was there to pick up my confirmed order. He said they had canceled it. When I asked whether anyone had notified me, he said no. He then complained that people often order pizza shortly before closing and never pick it up. I asked, "How was I supposed to know you had closed early?" The website accepted my order, I received a confirmation, and I arrived at the time I was given. When I called the following day and asked to speak with the manager, I discovered that the same employee was the manager. He claimed I arrived late and said they threw my pizza away at 10:10 and canceled the order in their system at 10:13. He then said I arrived at 10:13. So, according to his own explanation, they discarded my confirmed order at the exact time it was supposed to be ready, did not notify me, and then treated me aggressively when I arrived only a few minutes later. We have ordered from this location about once a month, which made the experience even more disappointing. I was not expecting special treatment--just basic communication and courtesy from a business we had regularly supported. The cancellation was frustrating, but the rude and aggressive treatment was far worse. A simple apology or explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was treated as though I had done something wrong by expecting the business to honor an order it had accepted and confirmed. I would not recommend ordering from this location, even if the website accepts and confirms your order.
