I ordered a small pepperoni and sausage pizza for takeout. The order was ready when they said it would. The employees were friendly and professional. The order was correct. The cheese had a milky taste and creamy and stringy texture. The sausage had a mild or maybe somewhat spicy flavor. The pepperoni had a somewhat spicy flavor and crisp to it. The juices from the pepperoni stayed on the pie and did NOT soak the box or make the crust soggy. The crust was evenly cooked and had a light brown undercarriage. It didn't flop. The thickness of the crust is not as thick as what I typically find from pizza places in the area. The dough was chewy. The red sauce seemed to be lacking something. The amount of sauce seemed good but the flavor seemed lacking. Put it all together (crust, cheese, toppings, sauce) I think it was okay. I didn't experience a wow factor. Compared to the price of other pizza places in the area, I think the price is comparable. read more

Friendly staff, the kind of people that you'd want to do business with. However, the food was horrible. We are throwing most of it out in the garbage. My wife and I both ordered the 4 piece chicken dinner to go. When we got home to eat it, it tasted burnt. My wife said that it tasted like they used old oil. When I arrived to pickup my pizza...after they took my money...the girl at the counter proceeds tell me they handed my pizza out to another customer. Then said can we remake it for you. What choice did I have. A refund on my debit card probably would have taken a week. So I sat and waited. Another customer came in paid and had her pizzas slid across the counter with not a word said. No thank you, no here ya go, no have a nice evening. That girl was the biggest sourpuss I've ever seen. My pizza is finally done and all I get is sorry about that mumbled to me. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. I know. Bold statement; but nothing less than the truth. After flying six plus hours from San Diego to Akron/Canton. Getting a rental car from Avis. We took an alternate scenic route just to go to Italo's before getting to the place we were staying for a few days. Italo's was a pizza place of my wife's childhood. She came her many times as a little girl. Then enjoyed it at her Godmothers house. Great memories and great pizza. Side note, there is no place to sit and eat here. All the pizzas are to go. It's a good idea to call ahead of time and call your order in. We waited for our pizza but noticed a lot of locals picking up phone ordered pies. The wife and I ordered a large pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza. We usually order our pizza this way when we eat pizza together. The large pizza only cost us $16. Super cheap for what you are getting. One of the most delicious pizzas ever. Having got to our lodging. We stopped beforehand and got beer. What's better with pizza than beer? Right. Nothing. Biting into my first piece. The first thing I tasted was the sausage. The sausage were little crumbles of heaven. Then the cheese, sauce and pepperoni. Amazing combination of flavors. Lastly, the crust. The best tasting crust ever. Chewy, crunchy and delicious. Notice I keep on saying words like Best and Delicious; because it is. If you happen to ever be in North Canton, Ohio. Went to pick up my large pizza with 8 piece chicken that on the phone they said it was $24.95 when I arrived I got a large bag of chips and placed them on the counter. The boy behind the counter placed a medium pizza on the counter and then went back to check on the chicken, he said it would be another 1 min 36 seconds. He then asked me if I wanted to check out and I said yes. The total was now $29.95 I said my wife said it was $24.95 his response was classic he told me the prices went up, I said in 35 minutes they went up? I then started to leave and he tells me that he forgot to ring up the chips. I said forget it and put the chips back then left. When I got home and opened the pizza box it was cold and hard. This pizza wasn't worth 2 bucks. Never again will they get a dime from me. Sucks read more

Love this place. Great Pizza and Chicken. Pizza crust is perfect. I love the lunch special from 11 to 2 Friday to Sunday, large 1 topping. We got two large pies and a order of 12 jojos. Everything was ready when we got there and it was nice and hot. The pizza had amazing flavor and the ingredients were fresh. Even my picky 2 year old loved the pizza. The jojos were hot and crunchy and the Middle was nice and soft. I love when they are made right! All in all 5 stars. There are so many memories from growing up that include "Mr. Italo" Luigi Ventura and the delicious Works pizzas from this location. Our family parties always included Italos. Still today we share memories over the slices. There just isn't any other pizza for our family. read more

First off the person who took my order over the phone was less than interested in doing her job when I called. With her Yep.. answers. Then when I arrived to pick my pizzas up and the two woman standing behind the counter scrolling on their phones- it was an inconvenience to look up and help me. I paid- the woman handed me my change and back into the conversation they went etc. No thank you- no nothing.
