We were staying at the KOA and decided on pizza for dinner. I went to Domino's on Hwy 17, ordered thin crust pepperoni. After I got the pizza I drove back to the cabin. When we opened the box , the pizza was way overdone, felt like cardboard , dry and crispy. the cheese was dri9ed out and no sauce to speak of. Spent $18 on this and had to throw it out. Well, hire someone that understands english fluently to work the register. She was very confusing. Food was the worst dominoes I've had in a long time. It's real easy to mass produce pizza, sides and desserts. Bought a 10 inch thin crust, garlic Parmesan with beef and onion. The bottom was burnt and the top was undone. No onions whatsoever and light on the ground beef. The chicken with pineapple and jalapeños was half the size of the box and half the size it used to be. Molten lava cake had a distinctive bitter taste and threw my stomach into tail spin. Overall it was a disappointment and disaster. No one helped the one person pulling the products out of the oven. Guess my pizza was overdone due to employee error or lack of help. Guess this establishment is off our list of quick pizza . 39 dollars down the drain. My husband and I eat here once a week and use the 'car-side carry out' online option when ordering our food. They have a 2 minute tracker that you push when you pull up or you get a free pizza if it takes longer than 2 minutes for your food to come out. Well this specific location will always push the button BEFORE the 2 minutes is up, saying they are coming out to the car with our food but they don't! It always takes them 3-10 minutes (at least) AFTER they tell us they are coming out with our food to avoid having to give away a FREE pizza. We don't mind waiting past the 2 minutes (especially if we get a free pizza out of it) but be HONEST about the time it takes to bring the food out! I swear we have been owed at least 5 different free pizzas but this specific location isn't honest with the time they are coming out with the food. I tried multiple times to contact corporate about this but they refused to respond to us so that's why I decided to write this review so other customers can be aware that they scam their guests with the 2 minute tracker. Delivery was great. Website worked as it should. Food however was not great. I ordered a Philly steak sandwich and it was so greasy that it literally soaked through the heavy cardboard box it was packed in. Likely not going to be ordering from there anytime soon because of that. If you have a higher tolerance for grease then you may like them. LOL read more

I love the opportunity to place a future on the app! So when I crave pizza (even before they open) I can plan my lunch or dinner to be ready on my time. The customer service is nothing but pleasant. And my pizza is usually ready a few minutes before pick up. I got stuck once in line, but not because of Domino's...a woman said she was ready to order but she clearly wasn't because she changed her order several times. Meanwhile I stood there just waiting to pick up, not even pay. But again, I don't blame Domino's. If you want a thinner pizza, but not thin or crispy, you must try the Brooklyn crust. This is now the second time they have messed up with me on a delivery. The first time I waited 45 minutes for my order. When I got the notification it said my pizzas had been delivered and they hadn't I called the store wondering why. According to the store manager she said "she accidentally recalled her driver in" and that I needed to be patient and calm down. Again this time I waited 45 minutes for my pizza to be delivered to again have the app tell me it was delivered. This time I didn't want any excuses I just wanted my pizzas due to the fact that I ordered my food at 730 and it should have been here by 830 not 9 pm. I will stick to your competitors that actually deliver my food hot and on time and do not give me any issues. read more

It's really a wonder that this place has 5 stars as the overall rating. I somehow got the impression from looking at their Yelp page that maybe they have a personal vendetta against us in some way, since the experience I've had with them time & time again is anything but 5 star. However, upon checking the "not currently recommended reviews" at the bottom of their Yelp page, I feel less paranoid that this Dominos is just personally out to get us. Anywho, onto the actual review. My husband loves Brooklyn style pizza, and since this is the closest place to us & we have been longtime customers of the pizza chain, we order from them on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, the experience with this location has been lackluster, to say the least. My husband is not the type to pick up food & check the contents before going home with it to make sure everything is how we ordered, so I suppose that one is our mistake. However, on many occasions, we have ordered Brooklyn style & hungrily open the contents at home, only to find that we have been given hand-tossed or thin crust. Whenever we get an order of wings (which come with at least 1 cup of sauce, depending on how many wings we order), we find that either the sauce is not the one we ordered, or they simply forgo giving us the sauce altogether. This has even been the case when we have ordered our food to be delivered. One time, we finally got the Brooklyn style that we had ordered, except this time, the pizza sauce was on top of the cheese.. I mean, everyone knows, dough on the bottom, then sauce, then cheese. The most recent experience we have had with them has pushed me over the edge. We ordered our food a little after 5pm, the driver (according to their pizza monitor on their website) had left at 5:15 with our pie. The website said it would take 15-20 minutes for delivery. Ok, that's not so bad. ...45 minutes later, still no food. My husband was getting hangry, and I was wondering why it would take almost an hour for delivery when Dominos is less than 2 minutes from us, so I decided to give them a call. Upon describing my issue, the woman I spoke to simply said, "We're 2 hours behind, it should be there shortly." Of course, this was not the response I was looking for. All we wanted was a nice relaxing, quick dinner on a weekend for our family. Except now my husband is hangry and my son keeps asking where the pizza is. And now you cannot even offer an apology? I am not one to get angry with customer service or food industry folks. I understand their job can be extremely stressful and sometimes, it is out of their hands. I was not asking for my meal to be comped or a free meal in the future, I am not one of those people. However, I do think I deserve the Customer Service 101 basics of an apology when I pay for a service and the service promised is not the one that I receive. Especially when we had been waiting close to an hour. When I had told the woman that I understand, however, this is extremely inconvenient, especially since we live just a few minutes away, I received no response. Zero. She just stayed quiet.. Feeling like I was basically talking to myself, I said "Thank you, bye", upon which she gave me a quick bye & hung up on me. Our pizza arrived at 6:06pm.. About an hour after we had ordered. The driver did not offer an apology or any explanation either, although I do not blame the driver, since their job is to just deliver when told. Well, upon opening the contents, once again, no sauce for our wings, AT ALL. And our wing order was supposed to come with 2. If this had been a first time offense or I was treated with curtesy by the employee on the phone, I would not be writing this review. Like I said, I understand people are people and make mistakes. And that dealing with customers can be stressful, especially when there are unforeseen circumstance or what have you. However, this instance is the final straw. I told my husband he needs to find another place that does Brooklyn style or just settle for thin crust. I would rather buy from a local mom & pop shop that treats their customers like family, than a local chain that does not even offer the common decency of an apology. So if anyone knows of a place that makes Brooklyn style pizza, let me know. ;) read more

This Dominoes exceeded my expectations by not sucking completely. The delivery driver was quick and friendly, but did not give out paper plates, napkins, or utensils. Being at a motel, we obviously do not have our own. I asked for light sauce on my mango habanero chicken sandwich, and it had none. The rest of the order was accurate. We are visiting from out of town and couldn't find anything open. We strolled in around 11:30 PM. Most places, the staff will get upset when somebody enters close to closing time. Ashley was very nice to us while working really hard to finish all of her orders. We were highly impressed. Ashley is a very valuable employee. read more

So usually these guys make some good pizza and amazing wings but recently I received a undercooked pizza that was also folded on itself. I called to complain and ask if they needed pictures because I'm not the person to lie for benefit but they said it's fine. Then they said we apologize we will credit your account and next time you can pick any specialty pizza on our menu. I thought this was a pretty generous offer but, turned out it's not true. My account wasn't credited and when I called t ask they said they don't have a record of a thin crust ordered even though it's on my recent orders. I am sad to have had the experience that I had based off of today's technology. I am a huge fan of delivery pizza and mobile apps. Yesterday I surprised my wife with a night out including a babysitter picking kids up from school so we wouldn't have to be "parents" all day. At 1:30 I placed a future order to be delivered to my home at 6 pm for the kids and the sitter. While on my romantic dinner out I got a call at 6:30 from the sitter saying the pizza had not arrived. I called the local franchise and was told that they had a rush and it would be in the oven soon, I asked why it wasn't already done because they had 5 hours to prepare my order. The poor employee that was taking phone orders was not supported by anyone in answering questions, the last question, was who was the franchise owner and the answer I got was Tim and she couldn't give me contact information and no management would help her. This store has seriously gone downhill! Not only are the deliveries late now. But there are employees coming in and out. I see new faces every couple of weeks. When i received my last order it was cold and the order was wrong. Before that my pepperoni pizza tasted like a mixture of pineapple and olives it was pretty gross but my kids loved it. The way they make cinnamon stick is odd never seen a company put butter on cinnamon sticks before. (will not be ordering from them from now on.) Don't know what is going on in there or why so many employees are either quitting or transferring but I'm going to have to guess it either has something to do with management or the district manager. It is pretty sad that such an awesome place is completely falling apart. I had one nice guy actually make my food right. (Really rare) Which being my luck he has already quit or transferred. I seriously think the owner of this franchise should look into his employees and who they picked to run it. (District manager). My friend and I ordered pizza over the weekend and decided to go with Dominos because it was closest to her house. We ordered a medium 2 topping pizza and their stuffed cheezy bread- it was a special and we had a coupon. We received our pizza in about 20 minutes, but not the bread. The delivery driver stated he would be right back with the rest of our order. We waited about 30 minutes before we called asking about the rest of our order and the manager insisted that it was "on its way". Mind you, Domino's is less than 5 minutes from where we had ordered, I could have WALKED there in 15 minutes. Over 45 minutes AFTER we received our pizza, the driver shows up with the rest of our order. The cheezy bread was cold and over-cooked, and the manager threw in a 2liter of Coke and an order of over-cooked chocolate dessert. We did receive our order for free, however, I do not think either of us will ever be going back to Dominos in Richmond Hill for dinner. read more
