I ordered the seafood-stuffed salmon, while my fiancé ordered the 8 oz filet cooked medium and a side of mac & cheese. The salmon was cooked perfectly, but the stuffing was a bit of a letdown. The menu mentioned shrimp and scallops, but all I could really taste was cream cheese. The mashed potatoes on the side were just okay. My fiancé's filet, was seasoned well and cooked as ordered. The mac & cheese had great flavor, but unfortunately, the noodles were undercooked. They were chewy and rubbery rather than al dente. I walked in to order to go. It looked like they don't really like it but anyway they agreed to it. The wait was pretty long so I ordered a beer at the bar, then half an hour later my order was handed to me in a plastic bag, even though I saw Client living with a nice Paper bag with their leftovers. when I got the bill I saw that they had a charge for "to go" so I waved the tip and when I got home, I saw that the salad was missing! so honestly, I'm glad I didn't leave any tip and by the way the salmon was very salty, I don't think I will go back over there ever. read more

At first glance, we didn't think we would be able to be serviced with the parking lot compeltely full and cars parked around the side of the building. We were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately. This is becoming our go to place as we transit between NC and FL. Serious steak. They do their own butchering. No "creative cuts". By-the-book butchering. Which means the kitchen can count on a consistent product. Result? Great steak. And they are serious about gluten issues. Sauces are made without wheat flour roux. And they are delicious. I cant remember ever seeing Steak Alfredo as an option on the menu at any of the steakhouses Ive been to. Finally! It was delicious too. The sauce was creamy, the noodles tasted like they were made in house with a unique shape to match, and my pieces of steak were cooked perfectly in the center. I was dissapointed in my blackberry old fashion. The whiskey tasted cheap. I then tried a Sangria which was ok but huge. I also took a star off because most tables had what looked like complimentary bread but we were never offered any. The fries and chicken that my daughter had were both very flavorful. The restaurant has a upper country ambiance. There was even a piano player right when we walked in. I would recommend making a reservation. Everything was perfect about our first experience here! Greeted immediately at the door, seated promptly with our reservation time, server was above and beyond great, food was all amazing, same with the great alcoholic beverages.
