Stopped in for a quick lunch and was not impressed. Ordered a Rubin and asked for no sauerkraut. Confirmed with her no sauerkraut. Asked for extra thousand island on the side. We received no dressing even after asking when they brought the sandwich. It had sauerkraut on the sandwich. Paid 4.00 for a bowl of coleslaw and the picture shows what we paid for.

Delis aren't usually my thing, but I think I've found a new go-to! Staff is very friendly and eager to help, which I appreciated. The wait was a little longer than I'm used to, but nothing I would judge too harshly for as restaurants have struggled with having enough workers during the pandemic. Besides, the delicious food made up for it and more! I ordered the Lady Liberty sandwich and a side of Italian pasta salad. Both were a delight; the portions were just right. Plus, the prices are very reasonable. I'll definitely be back again to try more!

The Ellis Island - chicken breast, pepperoni, roasted red pepper, and mayo on toasted sourdough. Check out the huge pickle!!

Uptown Deli became a stop for us on a road trip headed home as we did our best to avoid garbage fast food. We stopped in around 1 o'clock on a Wednesday afternoon. There were a half dozen other patrons in the place, and they all seemed to be enjoying their food so I looked forward to what they had to offer. I ordered the Ellis Island, which was chicken breast, pepperoni, mozzarella, roasted red peppers, and mayo on toasted sourdough. I also added raw onion because raw onion on a sandwich is amazing. For a side, it comes with cole slaw and a pickle, or you can get your choice of side for an upcharge (potato chips, pasta salad, potato salad, broccoli salad, salad salad, etc). I stuck with the cole slaw. The sandwich came out in record time and was delicious. It wasn't the biggest sandwich in the world, but it was satisfying. It could have used maybe a little more pepperoni and the amount of onion they added was almost nonexistent, but the flavors all really worked together and I enjoyed it. The sourdough bread could have been griddled a little bit longer for some more color, but the sandwich was warmed through which definitely elevated it. The cole slaw came in a little ramekin and was really tasty. I know it's mostly an afterthought but it tasted fresh, and was sweet but not too sweet. The pickle quarter was ENORMOUS! Definitely the largest pickle I've ever been served with a sandwich. It was good, too! Not quite Claussen, but better than the garbage that Mt. Olive sells that you see at so many restaurants. The prices are reasonable, the service is very friendly and fast, and the food is tasty. For my money, there's not much more I could ask for and I'd definitely make a return trip.

New favorite sandwich shop!! Their sandwiches are amazing, I crave them throughout the week! There are a lot of options and my goal is to try them all. You can pair your sandwich with chips or soup or salad! Cute little shop with amazing sandwiches!

Good and quick, clean. I had a corned beef sandwich and my husband had half a tuna sandwich, the half was as big as mine! Both very good.

I'm not sure if they're always understaffed, but I waited over 20 mins for a sandwich today. I'm not sure if I'll wait that long again.

Great food and service. Worth the 3 or 4 minutes from 95 past the typical fast food joints.

It was so loaded I couldn't even finish it and took the rest home for round two. The fries? Hot, crispy, and cooked to perfection. Absolute win. I'll definitely be back. Service was super fast despite everything being cooked fresh to desired specifications. Casual atmosphere, pleasant experience. Wished I had taken a photo, will get one on the next visit.

The menu boasts Philly cheesesteaks, hoagies and hot dogs, among other options, but their specialty is obviously Phillies. The young woman who greeted us was friendly and so nice. I got a half size original Philly and my husband got the full size chicken Philly. Our assessment - Great flavor, very juicy and freshly cooked with green peppers and onions in the mix. Soft fresh buns, not too oily. Did I mention these folks have a food truck also? My original was delicious and savory, dripping goodness down my hand the way it should be. The husband's chicken Philly didn't wow (lacked the great seasoning flavors I had) but was fresh and satisfying and he added a small amount of mustard to jazz it up. Only downside is if you want to use the restroom or wash your hands before/after said juicy and yummy sammich is that is disconnected from the shop and you need a key to get in - wish I could wash my hands at least in store or get wet wipes offered to me. Overall, SO pleased with this roadside sandwich stop and definitely want to see this business stick around!

I used to love Fuddrucker's and we wanted something a little better than fast food so we stopped in for lunch on our way from Florida to South Carolina. We went inside and were greeted right away. They don't have as many options as I remembered; but still quite a few including burgers of all sizes, chicken sandwiches, and gourmet meats such as bison and Kobe beef. I ordered the small burger with cheese, it was about $15. It was really not small at all and it was juicy and cooked to perfection. Plus it had the big homemade buns I remembered. (The best part!). They also had a nice complimentary toppings bar that had lettuce, tomato slices, onion slices, pickles, relish, salsa, etc. My husband ordered a 1/2 pound Kobe burger platter that came with fries and a drink. It was $21.99. He said the burger was very good as well. We both felt the fries were just ok. They also had a baked good counter full of brownies and cookies, plus they offered milkshakes. This location had vinyl booths and vintage vinyl stools; kind of minimal decor; but not bad for a truck stop. Overall the food was cooked quickly and to order.....it made us feel nostalgic for when Fuddrucker's was all over our home state of Florida.

It's attached to a truck stop, and it was obvious this might be a favorite pit stop for truckers. When I visited at 11:30 a.m. the condiment bar was full and the vegetables were fresh, but with the many customers at lunchtime hopefully they will keep it restocked (the complaint of another reviewer)! If you haven't been to this chain before the customer tops their own burger from the condiment bar of many toppings. My requested Small burger combo with Pepper Jack cheese was very good. It was messy, the bun toasted, the skin-on wedge fries were hot and seasoned. I will return!
