But, back to the steak. I'd say the closest competitor that I'm aware of would be High Steaks in Ambler, but in terms of meat to cheese ratio and flavor, I'm giving Verona the edge. In fact, I'd say it's the best or tied with the best cheesesteak I've ever eaten, and I'm old - so that's saying a lot. So we've got a great a steak that will easily serve two, a friendly staff, and prices within the realm of what you'd expect for August 2026. In addition to those tangible things, I take some joy in seeing that the choke hold once around the wallets of locals by that other place that shares it's name with it's location, has finally been broken. Competition is a great thing, and when you're greeted with a smile and a "thank you" that accompanies your order, that makes a huge difference, and is very refreshing. Overall: Delicious cheesesteak, friendly service, and they seem to appreciate that you're giving them your business. That's an A+ in my book.

I used to work at royersford dominos, and the conditions inside the store are disgusting. they received a failing grade on an OER for allowing mold to grow in the food cooking area. Gluten free food is tossed around unsterile conditions. There is no dishwasher, and the pan pizza pans all have old food stuck to the bottom which customers inevitably eat. The managers are all on drugs and have assaulted employees they dont like. Avoid this place and just go get Rossi's across the street. read more
