The paiega their new item which is made from their pizza dough kind of like an Italian Panini.

There's a reason why I gave this place five stars last time and we are back for round two last time. I got cheesesteaks and pizza which is always a 10 out of 10. Their crust is amazing. Amazing today. We're here to try their new item. It's an Italian Panini. I got a meatball and she got the chicken pesto while we were waiting. He gave us a complementary pizza that I can't remember the name of right now, so I'll just have a photo of it once again if you're not down here, you're missing out you do not have to go to Philadelphia to get a great cheesesteak if not

Very nice stop - went floating and came in for some pizza - While coming everything was open - I feel like grandma pie was the best out of them all - but the chicken is all my go to - everyone here was splendid - thanks again

Wow, "The Charlie" is to die for!

A friend tipped me off just two days ago about how he had found an EPIC Philly Cheesesteak out in the suburbs (without driving to Downtown Philly to Angelo's or Uncle Gus'!) Right near the Exton Mall, I swung by yesterday after shopping at Boscov's for Christmas presents and opted for a slice of the ir Pizza for a light lunch. Yes, I saw several of their cheesesteaks carried by to other customers but tasting one will be on my next trip, but the thick , generous portion of rib eye steak, Coooer cheese, spilling out of a seeded roll for an astounding $15 looks like an incredible deal. But I digress- this family- run restaurant knows how to make astonishingly great pizza, and can do any of their offerings on GLUTEN-FREE crust. They use Imported Italian flours and cook up their crusts crispy, well done, and delicious that beats the mouth-feel of anything I have had in the area. The meats are of superior quality and flavor, and everything is available by the slice and displayed in a case of fresh slices in so great a variety you will have difficulty choosing just one! The slice named "The Charlie" called out to me, totally on visual appeal, and I learned secondarily that it sported classic pizza sauce, creamy Mozerella, pepperoni, finished with pecorino Romano, fresh Basil, and hot honey- It knocked my socks off! Whether you are in the mood for an amazing pizza, or a cheesesteak, you've gotta try this place. It is clean, well staffed, with a great vibe! Find it a coupla blocks from the mall, on Lancaster Ave across the street from the Sherwin Williams paint store.

Very good. I recommend going. Still "in my opinion" not the best I've had, but still very good. Pizza I loved! 5 outta 5! Cheesesteak was good but I couldn't taste the fried onions due to so much melted cheese 4 outta 5 Italian Sub was a 3..... I wouldn't go outta my way like I do for other places, but would definitely go again when in area

    Cheesesteak

Food was hot and high quality! Service was amazing and fast! Great cheesesteaks!! If you want freshly cooked pizza, I'd recommend ordering a fresh pie, otherwise you'll be getting pre-cooked, warmed pizza, but still incredible!

Want outrageous pizza that will make David Portnoy think 9 or more? Want a killer cheesesteak that will make a top 10 list in the region? Want chicken parm heroes/ hoagies (I am from NY)? Want chicken cutlet hoagies? Well this is your place for really solid pizza, and sandwiches with friendly service. Right across from Exton mall you will find this busy establishment. The place gets busy on the weekends but the staff are friendly and try their best to get you in and out. Seating available inside and out and if you want beer its just next door.

I could give this place 5 stars for the customer service alone, but the food here is also outstanding. I've only been here twice, and the first time I had a lovely encounter with a regular who eats lunch there often. He told the man behind the counter it was my first time ordering and they offered two slices of pizza of my choice on the house. I was blown away by how kind this was and just the friendliness and whole vibe of this place. I've seen this place on Instagram and have heard nothing but good things, specifically regarding their cheesesteaks. The place was a lot clean and spotless which is appealing when you're doing the kind of business they are. I ordered the second time the other day for lunch with my co-workers. When my co-worker picked up our order, there was something missing from mine so when my co-worker called to let them know, the OWNER quickly offered to deliver it for us. I will tell you what, as a healthcare professional who is only given 30 minutes to order lunch, drive there to pick it up, drive back, and then find time to eat between patients, this was SO appreciated. He wouldn't even accept a tip which I so badly wanted to give him for his troubles as I know he was so busy during lunch rush. Thank you so much, your kindness does not go unnoticed. Anyway, now for the food! The cheesesteaks at this place are the best in the area, hands down. They season their meat so well, that there is flavor bursting in every bite despite what you add to it! I got fried onions and cooper sharp and that's all I need. The roll was seeded which I love and had a light toast to it which is perfect to stand up to the amounting of filling the sandwich has without getting soggy. I ordered a personal Abbruzese pizza which was literally perfect. The crust at this place is unmatched compared to other pizza places in the area, there is a nice crisp and a very slight char to it, but is by no means overdone. The flavor of ingredients on this pie worked so wonderfully together, and again the crust stood up to everything on top, no flop. The chicken pesto sandwich was good, and packed with ingredients. My co-worker said it best when she said "Since I've had that cheesesteak I can't stop thinking about this place and already want to go back"

Wow! Fantastic experience stopping by Gentili's today for lunch. Friendly staff, clean restaurant and a cheesesteak with Cooper Sharp that was a 10. Probably the best cheesesteak I've had. Great roll, excellent meat that was tender and flavorful and fried onions done perfectly. Will definitely stop in again next time I'm in the area.

Overall, The Jockey is solidly average when it comes to food, service, and ambiance. Nothing outstanding, but nothing terrible either. Where The Jockey truly shines, though, is its Happy Hour value, which is easily the best in the area. Drinks are a great deal compared to nearby spots: half off all beers on tap, plus discounted house wine and cocktails. The Happy Hour appetizer selection is larger than most, and the quality is surprisingly good. Buck-a-shuck oysters! Only one variety, but for a dollar, you can't complain. Bonus points for offering Happy Hour on weekends, which is rare. If you're in the area during Happy Hour, it's absolutely worth stopping in.

True to my nature as a "prior proper planner," I already had an appointment scheduled in West Chester, so I headed down to get the repairs underway. While I waited, I decided to find some local eats. A quick Google search led me to The Jockey just outside of Philadelphia. The reviews mentioned it was a family-owned joint, and the decor looked incredibly inviting. The aesthetic actually reminded me of The Polo Bar in NYC; it has that same sophisticated, equestrian charm. Personally, I love horses--I know all the horses in the world, and they know me--and I know the horses. so I was eager to check it out. My mother picked me up from the dealership, and we "galloped" our way down to the restaurant. The Food I was surprised to find the place packed at 12:30 PM on a Tuesday, but I assumed we had just hit the peak lunch rush. We started with the calamari, my mother ordered a sandwich, and I opted for the salmon with drunken noodles. Honestly, I think the chef in the back was more "drunk" than the noodles. * The Salmon: It arrived super crisp and borderline burnt. * The Calamari: Overcooked, greasy, and wet--it felt like it hadn't seen a strainer or a paper towel since leaving the fryer. * The Sauce: The marinara was watery, almost as if the back-of-house was running low and decided to stretch it with water. The Verdict The only saving grace was the aesthetic. The decor is lovely, and they have a very inviting event space in the basement. However, you can't eat the wallpaper. * Food: 2/5 (A hard pass on the kitchen's execution.) * Service: 3/5 (The staff never checked on us while we were eating.) * Location/Convenience: 4/5 (Close to everything in a great area.) I likely won't be visiting this place again. I'm genuinely surprised this is a local favorite in such an upscale area--perhaps the locals just haven't ventured out enough to know what they're missing.

They are open for breakfast and lunch. The restaurant is sleek and clean inside. It can get a bit noisy. It would be nice to have some music in the dining room. The host at the counter was very friendly and pleasant. Our table was ready within the quoted amount of time. The restaurant was very busy. They have a lovely menu so it makes it very hard to choose! I had the 1/2 Turkey club with the Cobb salad. My half Cobb had a full hardboiled egg, bacon and generous tangy blue cheese. The club was equally delicious and generous. I was pleased with my selection. The food was delicious and the portions were ample. I typically don't order anything but water to drink but I had heard so much about the Purple Haze drink that I went for it. I wasn't disappointed- not only beautiful to look at but delicious! It was lemonade with pea flower tea and I think lavender. My only observation for improvement would be to watch your guests beverages and offer refills. We had to flag the waiter down a few times for iced tea re-fills. Other than that- I would've awarded 5 stars! If I lived closer I would frequent this restaurant.
