The second thing that brought me there was when I was big into checking out food challenges. I heard that they had a single pizza you can't finish challenge and I was thinking, man I can crush that. Fast forward till the first time I ate there with my little sister and realized they have the heaviest thickest pizzas I've ever seen. Now that might be your thing if you go to is that for me if I'm gonna get a real thick kind of American heavy pizza I'm just gonna go grab a $10 one from Costco and call it a day. It's just not my jam and again I know it is for some other people. The ingredients are fresh. The people they make a good pizza they throw it. They stretch it. They've got a nice oven all that kind of stuff. It's just not for me if it's a focaccia pizza or a deep dish pizza yeah load me up but if you're looking for anything semi traditional or European or giving you that light refreshing pizza deliciousness this might not be the place. The outside esthetic is traditionally Abby's. We know their pizzas take about 25-30 minutes to prepare and bake, so we decided to order online, via their website, so it would be ready to eat when we arrived. We walked in and the interior screamed Abby's. They had the long tables with chairs and even a couple fireplaces. They also have a small arcade area. My husband really enjoyed seeing all the old photos on the walls. We walked up to the counter to get our pizza. The employees were friendly, helpful and accommodating. We let them know we were going to dine in, so they gave us plates and water cups. The pizza was exactly what we were hoping for...thin, crispy crust with just the right amount of fresh, delicious toppings. We ordered the giant (16") half Hawaiian, half Abby's Special for $45. Prices are a little high comparatively, but we love their pizzas so much, we don't mind paying a little more on occasion. If they were a little cheaper, we may come more often. I think they have coupons as well, so we may look for a coupon next time.

Personally, I like to judge based on a peperoni pizza, but they only had a cheese slice and 2 Hawaiian slices. I got one of each, and took them home to eat. While the slice enclosure in the store was heated, it might have been a nice courtesy if they were to have slid the slices into the oven for a minute; but the crust was already overdone. I would suggest better signage for pricing, and a slightly more heat resistant screen/pan for actual cooking to keep the crust slightly more doughy, unless the slices were accidental overcooks that should have been a crew pie instead of slices to sell to customers. The crust was past the point of useful re-heating, and I almost scraped the toppings off to repurpose. Special note: if sweet and sour pork wasn't the #1 most popular Chinese dish in the US, I might actually pay attention to people trying to dunk on pineapple.
