I got two Abbys pizzas in 2 days. Same order. One in Springfield one in Oregon City. The one in Springfield was one of the best I have ever had. Perfectly cooked and abundant toppings. We stopped in to try the legendary Abby's while in Klamath Falls. We got a thick crust pepperoni and mushroom pizza and an order of spuds. The place was as original as original can be. Pure knotty pine paneling and a fire place that you could eat around. Reminded me of my childhood. You just don't see this type of restaurant very often! We ordered at the counter and they called our order when it was ready. We went and brought it to our table. Pizza was as expected. Ordinary. Not special in any way. Not bad. Just everyday college type pizza. Spuds were that way, too. Nothing wrong with them, but not special. We might return to Abby's, and now we know what we should expect there. read more

Pleasantly surprised! Haven't been to an Abby's in a long time. Restaurant was clean, staff were helpful. Beer and wine selection was great. My wife always gets a vegetarian pizza and this one was great in her opinion. I had the BBQ chicken, very good too. Salads were also large and fresh. We went with our daughter and her family, with two toddlers. Great place for kids. It's a bit of a drive for us, but I think we'll be back. read more

I always think the pizza has been pretty good. Went to order by phone the other day... 13" combo I was told was $32!!! As I was hanging up, he told me how much... I thought you must be kidding!! I called the GM the next day just to confirm. Yup that's right. It's inflation and we are competitive. Just for kicks, I called Bellagios... $23 for the same thing. When you order they take you through the process... and after taking payment tell you delivery times. My last 3 orders were 90mins... 120mins... and 360mins wait time. If I wanted to wait 6hrs for pizza delivery... I'd just go to the store, buy the ingredients, and it still wouldn't take that long to make it fresh from scratch. Because I complained about the wait time... my address has been blocked. The General Manager of the restaurant refused to discuss why, how, or who put in said block... was rude, and generally just poor at overall customer service. Stark Street Pizza Company, The Flying Pie, and Jimmy-Os Pizza will be getting my business from now on as the longest I've ever had to wait for any of them is 60mins... and they are 20x farther away from my home. read more

I have fond memories of Abby's pizza as a kid and haven't been to one for quite a while. I guess there is an a lot of them in the area. This one is in the retail space where Izzys was previously for a very long time. It took Abby's a while to open because from what I understand they had quite a bit of work to do on the space. I just decided to drop by after the lunch rush and try it out. There is lots of parking because it is in Berryhill shopping center. The process is that you order at the cash register and then they will bring it to your table. I ordered the lunch special which is a 7 inch pizza, one trip salad bar and drink for $9.95. Sounded like a good deal to me. I chose the Abby's special pizza which is red sauce, beef, sausage, salami, mushrooms and olives. My order came extremely fast, within 10 minutes and I was still enjoying my salad. The salad bar doesn't have an extremely large selection as some restaurants do but it was stocked well and clean. The pizza was on thin crust that was cooked just right and that with the toppings was pretty delicious for a chain restaurant. Oh no I would say the pizza was better than most chain pizza restaurants and it was pretty fast. I would go again. read more

I've enjoyed Abby's in Newberg for years and I was eager to try the new location in Oregon City out. They have a great lunch special - for less than the price of a small pizza, you get a pizza and a soda. The salad bar is decent and only adds a couple of bucks to the price. The place has room for growth - while the service was friendly, the place was very clean and the pizza lives up to the reputation, sadly it took over 30 minutes to get our "lunch special". I expect that over time they will get it down in the kitchen and deliver the food more quickly. I had a 4 meat pizza - the toppings were well seasoned, it was baked to perfection, the crust was thin and light. The wife had a hawaiian pizza - sadly the requested added tomatoes did not make it on her pizza and we didn't have enough time for it to be remade. She thought the pizza she got was still quite tasty. Our friend had the greek vegetarian - while it was also very good, she noted that greek olives would have been a much better touch. The location they've taken over is quite large - so I wouldn't have any concerns about bringing a large group of friends over. It looks like they also deliver, so if you're close, you can let them do the driving for you. If you're a fan of specialty brews, then they have that covered as well. read more

One of my favorite memories as a kid was visiting Shakeys Pizza with my dad. Over the years I've failed to find a similar atmosphere until finally coming across Abbys. I've visited several of the Abbys in Oregon, but this one is my favorite. The staff is always friendly, always get my orders right, and are especially attentive with COVID mandates in place. The food is incredible. My usual Friday night order is a couple of large pizzas, fried chicken, and spuds. The pizzas are always great, simple recipes that never disappoint. The chicken, even after the car ride home is crisp, juicy and hot. If you want a candied fig and goat cheese pizza on a honey wheat crust, cooked in an outdoor oven heated by imported paulownia wood, while serenaded by Zamphir's pan flute, this isn't your place. If you want just old fashioned pizza and chicken, I can't recommend Abbys enough. read more

We were excited to finally try the legendary pizza at Abby's. We have to drive quite a distance to the restaurant. We ordered for pickup and I ended up having to wait a few minutes in the parking lot. I went in and asked the cashier about my order, she looked around and told me it would be another 10 minutes so I went ahead and waited in my car. Upon going back in for my order I noticed some confusion among the staff saying that they saw my order earlier but couldn't find it. So after about 10 more minutes of me standing around, they said they would have to remake it, but I had to get on with my evening. So this review is only a one star because of the service and operations. We still have never tried the legendary Abby's pizza. read more

I have been waiting to review Abby's for a very long time. They have only been open for under a week, and today was their first Saturday night service. I will skip past the complaining that it took a hour to get four 7" pizzas. Look, they were packed and still working out kinks. I totally get it. They have a separate small bar that features a good selection of ale. Slip in there to get away from the bustling kids. They also have Oregon Lotto. The restaurant is large. You can easily bring a huge crowd with you. Call ahead if you want a ton of room for a party or such and they will put you in the back which has a partition for some privacy. They have smaller booths and tables that line the walls. When it is really busy you may end up sharing a table, so be prepared. Some people do not want you sitting next to them. They have takeout and delivery. Abby's is certainly going to give Jimmy O's (OC's current pizza palace) a run for its money and that is simply because Abby's pizza was damn good, better even. Domino's and Pizza Hut are not even on the same level. We tried four 7" pizzas that will easily fill a standard appetite. If you really want a hearty single meal, get the 10". All of the pizzas had toppings in abundance. The house sauce is very tasty. The Greek Veggie - Loaded with all of those Greek style veggies, feta and herbs. Yes. The Garlic Chicken - Nice garlic flavor with a creamy white sauce. The chunks of chicken were huge complimented by roasted fresh red onion. A very rich pizza. Yes. The Abby's Special - This is your perfect pizza parlor special pizza with red sauce, sausage, salami, beef (which it really didn't need), mushrooms and olives. Yes. The Pepperoni - What pepperoni pizzas were meant to be. Yes. They also have a killer looking salad bar. The prices are pretty steep, but quality seems to make that fact acceptable. I really wanted to like this place. I waited to write a review because the first time we tried it I wasn't a fan and figured we'd come back to try something else. The pizza sauce was not very good, toppings were just ok, and the cheese sticks were barely warm. For the premium prices they charge we didn't get premium food. Second time, we ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and had salad bars. The salad bar is very basic for the price. I didn't like the pepperoni pizza at all. I'm not sure if it was the sauce or the pepperoni but it just tasted "off". Third time, and last time, we stopped in was for a family birthday party. About 30 minutes before we planned to leave to head home I ordered a pizza to take with us for 2 of our kids who weren't able to come to the party with us. I explained to the girls at the counter, where I ordered, that we were with the party at the center tables and we were just waiting for the take out pizza to be able to leave. They assured me, twice, they would bring the pizza over when it was done. Over 20 minutes later I inquired about the pizza and asked if it was ready. They had shoved it on a shelf and forgot we were waiting at the table for it. The server opened the box to check the pizza and it had dried to the side of the box and a few slices fell out onto the floor. She looked at me and asked if I wanted her to make me a new one.... I just paid approx $30 for this pizza and she wanted to know if she should make me a new one after dropping some of it on the floor?! I waited another 15-20 minutes for yet another pizza for my kids. I gave a second star only because the girl who came to the counter after all this was very polite and apologetic. She gave me the remainder of the pizza not dropped on the floor, that was now completely cold, free of charge but I still paid nearly $30 for a pizza I had to wait nearly an hour for and had to deal with the first 2 employees being snarky towards me. We won't be back. The price and quality of their food and employee bad attitudes aren't worth coming back. read more

Very disappointed... ordered on Uber eats a couple pizza one was a taco pizza the taco pizza came with no topping when I called abbys they said the only option was to come pick up the toppings. I live across town so I was not going to do that. So because I ordered on Uber they take no responsibility for any mistake. I explained I was not looking for a full credit of the pizza just a discount on my next order due to the mess up i was told that was not an option and that because I ordered it on uber they take no responsibility for their mess up. This was the manager words exactly. So sad that this manager could have easily keep my family as a customer by giving me a discount toward my next purchase. apparently this business has not struggled like so many other businesses have durning these difficult times that they don't care if they lose customers. read more

Very disappointing. What happened to Abbeys? My wife grew up eating Abbys and introduced it to me. We've enjoyed it since they opened this location near our house... until Saturday night. We ordered the usual, two kinds of pizza, garlic bread and chicken. The pizza and chicken were NOTHING like what we've come to love at Abbys. In fact the kids would not even eat them. You KNOW that's bad. I gave it one star as the garlic bread was familiar and good To Abby's management... you'd better figure this out quickly before you flush a lucrative business down the drain. Used to be a huge Abbys fan, and recently tried two Abbys locations on a road trip in the Portland area and agree neither location did the crust have the same thin crispness with cornmeal crust, and they skimped on the sauce, and the cheese has a very strange taste not sure it is 100% real cheese? With quarantine we always try to find an adventure and this one took us to Oregon City Abbys. We drove two and a half hours to get there. Even though we couldnt go in to eat, it worked out great. The phone # was on the window so we just called to order and pay. We sat in the car to eat our small greek veggie and Abbeys special. They were so good, my veggie was the best ive ever had and he really enjoyed his. They couldnt have been any more nice. Thank you for making our adventure so amazing! read more

There were a lot of reserved tables and we had a party of 8 which we split between two booths that were dirty when we arrived, we cleared one and sat at the other and waited for it to be bussed. I got up to ordered a pitcher of beer for our tables and asked the bartender for a bar rag to wipe down the other table, she immediately got an employee to clear the other table for us and was very efficient and friendly. We came in at about 5pm on a Saturday, the dark haired bartender was a gem, and the pizza was awesome! read more

Sadly, the pizza, breadsticks and wings were all pretty cold when they got to us. The delivery driver forgot our soda but did go back to get it, which was nice. For a 12 inch pizza, 3 breadsticks and 6 boneless wings, we paid over $45. The price is just too much for subpar food.
