fist off we've been going to Sandy's Wallstreet for 20 years now being from Sandy ourselves, and we've had more good experiences than this last one. we spent over $50 for a small & extra large pizza. plus a sandwich. my wife picked up the order after calling it in. well when we opened everything, the pizzas & sandwiches were burnt. instead of bringing it all back we just went with eating what we could. however, I did call back to let a young lady (who took the phone order), the situation. she apologized and said it was because of a 'new cook.'. I asked for some sort of discount/credit to our order. the next day I have seen nothing to compensate which is a little frustrating & disheartening. Two words: Bank Rolls! So good! But you should probably call ahead for them to be sure they have not sold out. We enjoy sitting outside in the summertime. Taco salad and bank rolls or garlic nots are our go to. They also have very good gluten free crust and different sauces for your pizza if you wish. The price was great for what I got 15 bucks for a three topping pizza, I substituted for the garlic sauce which was good. I would only go back for Garlic rolls to go. As soon as we got there we were an inconvenience. The guy taking our order was prepping food and seemed irritated we even walked in the door. We ordered our food and Drink and then had the audacity to stay in the restaurant. At one point they must have been preparing onions- it was so strong it was upsetting my stomach and the smell really hits you in the throat..Id never smelled onions that strong before- it was bad and we all love onions. No one else was in the lobby when we first got there. There were boxes and storage items in the seating area. The prices are outrageous (except like I said I go back for the rolls 12 for 5.00 not bad and always a win) The pizza was floppy and not impressed with the flavor- and the Sause was "off" for 40.00 for a large. The Cesar salad had a little bit of clear dressing and didn't taste like Cesar at all- and romaine was wilty. (Croutons loved by all). The waitress was sweet and attentive. Only thing I would suggest when a table of ten asks for ranch and marinara bring two instead of one. When we asked for boxes to go, maybe offer to put the pizza in the box for us and offer lids for the sauce. Also there wasn't any Parm cheese or crushed peppers out. To be greeted with a smile when someone walks into you restaurant is key- especially with those prices.. Had high hopes growing up going to the one Gresham...this wasn't a great experience and we wont be back to the Sandy location at least. read more

I love to support mom and pops but, if I'm going to pay more, then I expect more. That being said, pizza just wasn't that good. We got the meat lovers. I'm sorry but it was dry, sausage tasted weird. Cost was $36 for a medium because they charged a $7 delivery fee. I didn't think that was bad until I was notified that door dash was going to deliver l, so then I needed to add another tip on top of the $36. Was delivered within 30-45 minutes so not bad. Never have I ever been so disappointed. You proudly display a sign out in front of your establishment asking for help to support a small business. I only ordered three dozen garlic roles this evening and could not believe the poor quality. They were cold, burnt and sitting around for awhile. Before you ask if I was late to pick up my order. I do however have a few complaints about missing stuff. The Garlic bread was missing from the Baked spaghetti. Caesar salad dressing seemed to be something like a Parmesan vinaigrette. I've now tried both, and can say that neither are bad by any stretch, but I do prefer Boomer's. It's not *quite* as good as some of the better places in Portland, but it's the best in Sandy. Cohesive method, good toppings, super well executed crust and decent sauce. I'm definitely going again, their pizza is comforting and very solidly done, I very much stand by the rating. I was really expecting better all the way around. My order was 10 minutes late, it took an hour to get here when I live 2 minutes away. My pizza was left at the door and when I said thank you to the driver she just looked at me. I tipped very well (over 40%) and did not get good service at all. The pizza crust had no flavor to it, my pizza was not even cut into pieces. The cheese bread isn't even cheese bread, just garlic bread with the smallest amount of cheese on top of it barely even melted. Oh. My. GOSH! Amazing. My husband and I were visiting the area for my birthday, and on our last night (which happened to be 4th of july) we ventured out kinda late for dinner. We drove by Wallstreet and decided pizza sounded good. When we walked in we were quickly approached with an apology... They were trying to close up shop. We totally understood - the staff probably wanted to get to watch fireworks with their families, completely understandable! We were offered the option of taking our order to go, which was fine with us. In a flash our 14inch Wallstreet and Greek salad was ready to go (along with these Parmesan coated balls of deliciousness that come with salads). Thankfully our rental house was just a few blocks away so the aroma didn't torture us for too long. First the salad - incredible! The large was more than enough for two people (another person or two could have had some too) and it was well topped with feta, peppercinis, kalamata olives and red onion (looked pickled, but didn't taste pickled - still yummy!). The dressing was packed separately and seemed homemade. The salad was very crisp and fresh. The Parmesan puffs went nicely with it! The pizza: it was a thing of beauty! The sauce was garlicky and a great base for the thickly laid toppings. There is no skimping in this place! But the crust.... The crust. THAT crust! Backstory: every time we eat pizza my husband leaves a little pile of pizza crusts on his plate. Tonight no pizza crust was left behind. The sausage and pepperonis were of note: it wasn't just the quantity of the toppings, the quality was there too. I wish we had taken pictures!
