It was $4.99- and it was not edible. I would say it was over a week old. The woman at the counter should not have sold me that. It should've been thrown away. The chef was polite and prompt. The food: My food was prepared in a timely manor. It was costly. 2 small pieces of cod and 2 normal chicken tenders with a small amount of fries were $18.99. There was no seasoning- No salt on the fries, very little seasoning in the batter even the crispy exterior of the chicken was unseasoned. The fries were mostly peel- I'm ok with a rustic fry- but I'd like some actual potato. 4 of the fries were normal looking. The chicken was overcooked, hard, dry and bland. The cod inside the batter was fine- cooked well but the outside was a disaster. It was lying in a puddle of oil and the breading was bland, soggy and falling off. But a lot of time has passed and both are excellent now. A good number of people were at the bar around 4 pm on a weekday and the manager was bartending. He was friendly and attentive. I saw several signs saying no one under 21 allowed IN THE BAR after 7 pm, which is an excellent practice that I applaud, but I think that unfortunately that probably does not apply to the game room...otherwise why add the words "in the bar."
