After 15 minutes she decided to clear a table in a non busy restaurant. Feeling ignored we got up and left. The appearance of the restaurant wasn't the best inside and neither were a few or the people waiting on to go orders. The husband thought the mild wings were really good, the grippo sauce wings I had were were really really good! The Marvinade (strawberry lemonade) is a nice sweet treat with real strawberries. Went in today for the first time for a pick up order. The women sitting at the cash out area was so friendly. My boyfriend and I order food from Starvin Marvin's inside the bar using a touch kiosk. He ordered a two cheeseburger combo meal with an up charge for chicken Alfredo specialty fries. I ordered a Philly cheesesteak combo meal with an up charge for salmon fries. I guess they were out of Alfredo and instead of contacting me about the issue they threw chili on the fries and Parmesan cheese. Also, my boyfriend received half a patty on one of his burgers and didn't get any of the toppings he requested. The kiosk takes your number and says they will text you once your order is ready. Never got a text or call to ask if it's ok to sub out or about the food being ready. My philly cheesesteak tasted like an old grill and my salmon fries weren't the best either. The food looked good online. The "cook" was also outside in basketball shorts with his underwear showing smoking and came right in and started cooking. I went back in and got my $10 up charge back for the fries but they don't ever have to worry about me spending any money with them anymore. Overall the food was good and the ice cream sundaes were great. Only setback is seating. there is limited outside seating and the tables were covered with flies. The food also does not look like the pictures on the website. Still good just a completely different style of lettuce on the Starvin Marvin Burger. It also is inexpensive compared to other places nowadays. Cost $26 for two burgers, fries, and ice cream sundaes. Service was alright nothing special but nothing negative. This is the second chance I've given the place after a horrible experience when they first opened at their original location... they didn't even start my order until I arrived to the restaurant (30 minutes after I ordered) and it took another 30 minutes of me waiting inside to get it. For TWO items. Wasn't even busy in there. On top of that... kitchen staff using his gloved hands to scratch his head, mess with headphones etc and then returning to touching food. Good reviews are MISLEADING. Overpriced for bad food. The French fries were the only redeeming part but they were way too salty. All of their stuff is frozen and sloppily thrown together and to add insult to injury it's too expensive and it tastes bad. The spices are awful, slightly burnt, cold, etc. Two people working the kitchen with no line and they still couldn't get some things in our order right. You're better off going to McDonald's read more

Placed an online order at 5:10 PM on a Friday night. Arrived at location at 5:35 as instructed by the website I ordered from (their website) as soon as I walked in the manager calls out my name and says they're out of the Philly steak for the egg rolls and asked if chicken would be okay, sure thing I get stuff happens but disappointing to be out of something at 5 pm on a Friday, oh how I wish this is where the story ended. I waited for an hour and 50 minutes before my food was finally starting to come out of the kitchen, the entire time I waited the cook in the kitchen was screaming out and complaining about how she couldn't do this and was visibly fed up but continued hollering out, she berated the server who was obviously new and confused to the point the server ended up walking out and quitting after a final outburst from the cook. So the food finally came out and the manager walks up to me hands me the bag and tells me he is going to go start on the shake that was on my order, he then proceeded to go take the order of 3 different tables while I stood in the doorway waiting. The kicker is when I finally got home to eat they had shorted me one of my $11 egg rolls, at which point I just gave up hence it was 7:10 pm and I had already spent 2 hours all in all trying to get my food. I get being busy but how can you expect to operate a restaurant and maintain a customer base with this kind of service, and even if I had wanted to call and complain about my missing food it isn't possible because the "business" phone is someone's cell phone who never answers... frustrated is an understatement. read more
