I would have given zero. Lost my trust basically. I used them once they were ok but came with a small truck that stressed me a bit . But this time They basically cancelled on me 3 days before my move. Gave me a lot of stress and pressure. A lot of movers were booked for my desired date even before and after since all people plan ahead, you can't just cancel a couple of days before specially for those are tenants, but I am glad as I managed to move sooner than planned and at a cheaper rate. I reached out to inquire about using this company. Prices seemed reasonable, however as we continued in conversation he eventually refused the job and stated "sorry we wasted each others time" . How do I waste a companies time by inquiring about their service? And he decided to decline the job because they don't have actual moving trucks, they have a pickup with a trailer connected and someone complained their stuff flew out during their move so I inquired about that, because I don't want my stuff to fly out. A more professional response from this company could have been "yes, we use open trailers, I understand if this does not work for your situation and I appreciate you taking our company into consideration." These guys are amazing! I called them kind of desperate to find someone to move some furniture out of my daughter's rental house to a storage unit before the end of her lease the next day. It was totally last minute and at the end of the day. Eduardo was so nice and showed up in under 30 minutes! He and the 2 other movers with him quickly loaded the furniture and drove to the storage unit. They even offered to haul a broken couch to the dump for her. This was my first time hiring an all inclusive service for moving. Doms Moving and Hauling is a local business that strives to work around their client's preference and schedule. Throughout the move, it was easy to communicate and coordinate my move from SF to San Antonio Texas. I am honestly amazed at the owner, Eduardo, he was able to lift +300lbs of stuff by himself! We recently had Eduardo help us in moving our daughter's belongings from Berkeley to Long Beach. The move was a bit complicated because we had stuff at a friend's house in Los Altos Hills so they had to stop there and pick up several items. From there they drove down to Long Beach and unloaded everything at my daughter's newly rented apartment which was supposed to be totally empty but contractors were still working on the bathroom so Eduardo had to unload in tight quarters. They did a great job with all the complications of the move. They arrived on time at our house and went directly to my friend's house and from there directly to Long Beach. Great work from the two young men that moved us to Rancho Cordova from the East Bay. They arrived on time work efficiently and took care of all our belongings. A lot of their reviews keep disappearing but I assure you, you can trust they will be on time and get the work done and a timely and safe manner. I hope we don't have to move for a while but if we do I know who I am going to call. Oh I should also mention they did the move with pretty short notice, I would think. Eduardo and his cousin did our two bedroom move. They took care of everything. No damages at all. We have a super heavy and big recliner and elliptical machine which they moved with ease despite our narrow stairs. They were 10 minutes late but Eduardo called me ahead of time to tell the ETA and inform about the delay. I liked that very much. They were among the best movers in San Francisco Bay area that I have worked with and I have worked with many. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to move. I had a really complicated moving situation go on and Eduardo and his team made me and my family's life so much easier. Me and hubby had planned to move on 3/30 into our condo and requested for 3 movers to help us with that with an additional service of hauling junk to the dumps. We had to get rid of a lot of things because our horrible landlords were pretty much kicking us out because we needed just a couple more hours the next day to actually move. We found out just a couple days before our move from our HOA at the new condo that we would not be able to schedule our move until 4/1 and the last day we would be allowed to stay in the house we were renting was 3/31. We panicked and thought all the hard work of getting quotes from movers and the great price we were able to find and services that would fit our needs would go to waste because there was a sudden change of plans. Unfortunately Eduardo's team had an out of state move on 4/1 and we totally understood so we had to find different movers. But Eduardo told us he would still be able to send out 3 guys to help with hauling our junk. At this point we had to purge the house we were living in quickly since we found out last minute we needed to leave sooner than we thought. We had 2 couches, dining table, entertainment center and bookshelf along with a LOT of junk that the 3 guys were able to get out of the house in about an hour and a half and we were charged at an insanely great price. We have previously used 1800gotjunk and I would say we probably would have had to pay triple the amount we were charged by Eduardo and his team. What we also really appreciated was the compassion shown with a last minute cancellation/change of plans which meant we would be paying for 1 service(hauling) instead of 2(+moving). I think most companies would change their prices but Eduardo reassured us that him and his team love what they do, to be able to help others in needs as they are a small business just starting up. We highly recommend their services. We truly believe in supporting small businesses especially when those small businesses are ran by genuinely good people because it is so rare to find that nowadays. I could trust them with all my belongings right away they had a great vibe about them and they didnt put off that " angry tired energy" like lets get this over with.
