When I went there was no bad smell at all (it actually had no smell). (Added another star for that) General food was okay nothing special but one thing that was not the best was the ribs and corn (the ribs were cold and not warm or ANYTHING, it seemed that it was microwaved as well as the corn and french fries, I also had the chicken pattie it smelled as if it was bought breaded and not made from scratch it also was microwaved. ( did not add stars for that) Food seemed overpriced for what it was. The staff was really nice actually no problems with staff at all. The waitresses even asked if I needed anything extra (which they should in general) added a star for that. If you want to eat some where where you are really hungry I don't recommend due to it being overpriced and not made well.

Stone Water Pub offers a charming setting right in the heart of the Thousand Islands, with a…read morebeautiful riverside location, cozy interior, and genuinely friendly service. The food is great -- fresh, flavourful, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of place you want to like. That said, for the price, the portions feel underwhelming. The smashburger, while tasty, is about the size of a standard McDonald's cheeseburger, and a handful of fries just doesn't cut it at this price point. A bit more generosity on the plate would go a long way in matching the quality of the experience with the value. Still worth a visit -- just don't come too hungry.

I only recall trying poutine when I was younger so I figured I'd give it another try. They have Poutine as a whole order, but I was glad to see that they have it as a side option. The food entries comes with a side of your choice (fries, house salad, sweet potato fries (+$2.99) , caesar salad (+$3.50), or poutine (+$3.50)). The portions of the food were huge, so you definitely get your bang for your buck here. Each dish was neatly placed and was so good! The bread from the club was crunchy yet soft and the chicken was moist. The ingredient felt very fresh! The poutine was a tad salty, but I think that is how poutine is? Since it's gravy and cheese (two salty ingredients). It was just the perfect amount to share with the family since we all just wanted a little bit to refresh our taste buds. My family also ordered the Chipotle Chicken Caesar Wrap with the house salad ($19.99); Fish and Chips ($19.99), and Grilled Chicken Club with the house salad ($19.99). The chipotle chicken caesar wrap was HUGE. My mom said it was very good and that it wasn't too overpowered with all the flavors and sauces. I was able to try a bite of her house salad and was also impressed by the fresh ingredients of the salad. You can tell it is a good salad when the salt actually crunches and does not just wilt there. The Fish and Chips were pretty good according to my brother in law. Crispy, not totally too greasy and a large piece on top. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal here in this small town. It had a cosy interior with very nice staff. FYI, the menu is located solely online! Reception could be a little spotty, so they have wifi for you in case you need it! The place is open and bright wherever you sit, whether on the outdoor patio, downstairs by the bar, or upstairs. Service was excellent. My reservation was smoothly handled, and my server took good care of me. I got offeres some bread and butter after I ordered, which was really a nice surprise. The offered breads were seeded, ollve, and rustic style. All delicious, especially with the sweet butter. For the main meal, I got a half dozen oysters, an order of cha gio and their Ahi Dragon Noodle Salad. The cha gio were crispy, not greasy, sweet and savoury. The oysters were super fresh, sweet and a good size. Along with the usual condiments, they included pickled red onion, which is the first time I've ever had this. I really enjoyed the acidic sweet bite enhancing the sweetness of the oysters. The Ahi Dragon Noodle Salad had microgreens, red cabbage, red and green and yellow sweet pepper, red chili pepper, edamame, coriander, green onions, and fried parsnip chips. The Ahi was charred on the outside, fresh and meaty. I appreciate that the sesame oil, soy sauce and hint of chili on the perfectly chewy noodles was separate from the veggies. The vegetables had a very clean flavour, but I would have liked something more, maybe a touch of citrus. A glass of good wine rounded out the whole experience. I was way too full at the end of the meal to even contemplate dessert. All in all, a great meal, and I would return any time.
