I'm rounding my rating up to four stars because this place is a favorite for my grandparents and…read moreremains an excellent value. Every meal starts with basic bread rolls and butter, which I don't personally eat, and each entree includes a small starter salad. On this visit, I ordered the classic snapper broiled and substituted potatoes for the rice. As expected, the portion was quite generous. I actually preferred this broiled preparation over the grilled version I had previously; it seemed to use less oil but was perfectly seasoned. The potatoes were flavorful and well-cooked, and while the sautéed vegetables were fairly basic, they rounded out the plate well. My snapper came with an island sauce on the side, but the fish was flavorful enough on its own that I skipped it to keep the meal a bit healthier. I also sampled my grandpa's order, the Snapper Florentine special. It was very good, featuring a bright lemony sauce and a rich spinach-and-cheese stuffing. While the stuffing meant there was slightly less fish than the standard entree, the portion was still substantial. That being said, I have hesitations regarding the quality of the fish and oils used here. Even though it's a "light" meal, my stomach occasionally feels a little off afterward, so it may not quite meet the highest quality standards. I personally wouldn't return without my grandparents asking me to go, but, it's still a reliable and filling meal. I'll likely try either the roasted half chicken next time or stick with the broiled snapper, which I prefer out of everything I've tried so far.

The ambiance and service were terrific. Unfortunately when the food is disappointing we do not go back. I think I had a bad shellfish. I had severe stomach cramps shortly after leaving the restaurant. I had diarrhea and runs all night.

I might have found my favorite empanadas spot!! It's located in a small strip mall near Lake Ida and Congress. They have wide and great selections of empanada fillings (ranging from the classics chicken or beef to brisket, ham and cheese, rice and beef & they have vegetarian option as well) the fillings are quite generous, thin crust and packed with delicious fillings. They're served with chimichurri and hot sauce. They have small selection of mini desert empanadas also!! We ordered the classic beef, brisket and chicken curry. Apple pie and guava for dessert empanadas and they were all awesomely delicious!! Service was warm, welcoming and helpful!! Love Love LOVE!!!

He helped us load it into our warmers at 5 o'clock. It was easy to serve from the trays provided. Everyone was raving about the delicious, meatball, Philly cheesesteak, vegetarian, brisket, chicken, dolce de Leche, apple pie and guava cheese empanadas. My only regret is that I didn't have some of Ana's menus and cards as all wanted to know where the shop is. Having Ana's Killer Empanadas cater our event was one of the easiest, smartest, and most reasonably priced meals we've offered.
