Stopped at two street side locations in Tarpon Springs, This spot did not want me to confuse his with the others I purchased from Victor something or other. I picked up a couple of Maduro toros, not a bad stick. If you are looking for a flavor bomb this isn't it but if you want a smooth smokeable medium (don't let that dark wrapper fool you) then pick a few up. On my last order I could tell Javier was driving. I offered for him to call me back when it was convenient. He said no. He pulled over and took my order. bought cigars while sightseeing in Tarpon Springs approx. 4 yrs ago. Enjoyed the smoke--very smooth, consistent and a good even burn. Shop owner was very friendly to talk with. Since then, I have called for cigars numerous times--always fresh! Shop owner knows me by name when I call. Only one shipping glitch which was NOT the shop's fault. Post office delivered to wrong address. However, Don sent a second delivery of cigars at HIS expense to keep me satisfied. That says a lot!!!! About three weeks later a neighbor down the street from me delivered the cigars intended for me with an apology for being late. I called Don and paid for the cigars he sent to me in the interim. My girlfriend was actually going to have some shipped to her dad up north from the shop when we found out what kind he like. However, since the owner had a need to brush off my openness to conversation...we decided to take our business else where (which is not hard to do in FL). I agree with Dan. I came for the 1st time in 2011 during vacations (I am living in France). Last year I came back to Florida and I did not hesitate to drive more than 3 hours to go back there. Cigars are really good (strong and smoothie). Quality is really good too. I prefered his churchill sizes. Esteban is really friendly and a good shopkeeper. So instead of trying the Greek food in the area, prefer to go to his shop. ;-) read more

Okay, so how does someone from Huntsville, AL know anything about Don Esteban Cigars? Great question. A good friend of mine was traveling in Tarpon Springs, FL when he happened across this small hole in the wall. He struck up a conversation with Don and ended up buying a few cigars. Luckily, he brought one home with him and decided to give it to me. It was a great smoke. When he told me the price ($3.50) it turned into a fantastic smoke. So now I call Don myself when I'm in need of daily cigars and we discuss what he's currently rolling and different sizes and so forth. I like mixing it up, which is the reason we get into these discussions. Strongly recommend these cigars to anyone who enjoys a good quality stick that you can smoke several times a week and not get tired of it. read more
